Two dollars more than other stores, on non prescription items, I used to go every Sunday with my coupons prices were competitive with others,than covid everything increased , Covid ended and prices remained high, not just CVS everywhere is higher. Do not go through the drive-thru at least. The people are dismissive and rude. I was trying to pick up my prescription and they said that they didn't have it and sent me to a different CVS. I asked if it was something I did wrong and they said "no." But didn't have an explanation for why they didn't have it? I don't know just a very awkward and rude experience I would try a different CVS. read more

I know you need a degree to be a pharmacist, but you should also be aware that you're working in the public and you should be friendly to people and not make them feel like idiots when they are not aware of some thing they don't know. The whole pharmacy section are a bunch of curmudgeons, even the teenage boys that work the registers upfront are friendlier than the people at the pharmacy. Most people that go to a pharmacy are having a hard time. The people working at that type of location should be friendly or at least make eye contact. Or else they shouldn't work in public. read more

Terrible experience in the pharmacy. Dropped off a prescription and I was told it had to be ordered and was assured it would be ready on 2 days. They were supposed to text me and took my cell number for that purpose. I never received a text, but showed up on the day they told me it would be ready. After waiting in line for 10 minutes they told me that the drug is not available at all and no indication of when it will be available. Of course I needed the refill ASAP. So I asked for my prescription back so I can fill it elsewhere and waited 30 more minutes while they located the prescription. Absolutely inept service. read more

In their defense, I think they do one hell of a job with the volume of people they're working with. The problem I found was with their supplier, who covers the entire Metro area. I've had to go to New Jersey to get something I needed. I know they are frustrated but they have never shown it to me. Thank You read more

Great customer service. At times phone support could be a little short with their answer. Phone ahead to make sure meds you need long term will be in stock when you need them. They do take the time to learn your name. They are worth 5 stars. read more

Specifically dealing with the pharmacy ONLY. I dropped off my prescription on Saturday afternoon. And when I came today (Monday!), it was still just sitting by the register. Unfilled. I opted to sit and wait for my 3 scripts just to find out they didn't even have one of them in stock. Was asked to retun later that day, which I did just to find out they couldn't fill it because my insurance approval didn't go through. Now I understand that wasn't their fault, but nobody called me. No apology from the employee. Nothing. I even told her this is why I dropped off the script on Saturday and nobody even started it until today. Still nothing. Terrible service. Not to mention the gentleman working the counter was loudly complaining about his job. read more

This is a very traditional CVS. The one aspect that sends this CVS over the top is the pharmasist named Brian. He is always so pleasant and eager to help others smile. Professional, caring, knowledgeable, empathetic and so much more. He is a true diamond in the rough. If only every pharmasist could behave in a manner that is similar to Brian's behavior. read more

This is not a 24- hour location, despite other reviews. They close at 10pm most nights. The store is clean and well stocked. Sale items tend to clear out quickly, but they offer rain checks with no expiration date. The staff is mostly older during the day and teens in the evening. Convenient location to grab milk, toiletries, and household items, especially in the evening hours. read more

Disappointed. I went there yesterday to pick up a medication that comes in a box of 3. I received a couple text messages telling me it was ready for pick up. Upon arrival, they only had one dose available, not the 3 that I normally get, because they are low on stock. I was told to come in the next day (today) at the same time. I went in today a little later than I had yesterday & it still wasn't ready. I was told that they have it, but they needed to unpack it, & I'd have to wait a 1/2 hour. I was on my lunch break & unable to wait 30 minutes. Looks like I'll have to go there a third time to hopefully get my meds. It would be nice if they called, since they knew I was coming. I visited Store #919 today in Glenside, PA and my experience could not have been worse. I had a cashier named Jennifer who immediately made me feel like I was wasting her time by asking her to price check an item. After having her doing that I asked to use a 20% coupon on a regular priced item. She immediately raised her voice in annoyance saying that even if I was only buying one item, it was still on sale for buy one get 1 half off. I calmly explained that if I was buying one the price would not be reduced, I would be paying regular price for one. She continued to try to argue with me , so I nicely asked for a manager. This seemed to piss her off, so she threw my bag on the counter and called for a manager while telling me it didn't matter because he would tell me the same thing. Contrary to what she thought the manager, patiently explained why I should be able to use the coupon and told her to just override it. She actually had the gall to argue with the manager even after this, so the kind gentleman did it himself. I am appalled at the treatment I received from this cashier, but am very grateful for the manager's help. If this is representative of this company, I would rather shop with Rite Aid or Walgreens. This is not the first time I've had such a bad experience at this location. I commend the manager for handling the situation professionally, but that cashier was beyond horrible and rude. Hopefully something can be done about this. I intend to let friends and family members know to avoid this location. read more

What can be said about a CVS? They're pretty much all the same. That being said I like coming into this location whenever I need to grab a few things. They always have great sales and the inept teens leave you alone for a pleasant shopping experience. The reason for five stars is the pharmacy, they're very knowledgeable and quick to fill a prescription. Every employee is friendly and there's a small sense of community here, even though it's a chain. read more
