This is probably one of the last of the "old" Wawa store models. The kind I remember from childhood, where you went to pick up a gallon of milk and the newspaper. This store is located in a "colonial style" strip mall, built probably sometime around the bicentennial. The signage is in green paint against cream background, and there's no freestanding sign or signature red color, so if you're looking for that it's easy to miss. The parking lot is small and features angle parking that favors turning from Germantown pike instead of Joshua Road. If you turn from Joshua go around behind the buildings snd loop, otherwise you're angled wrong. People also seem to frequently parallel park on Germantown Pike's shoulder. The store itself is a little cluttered. A little dingy. It's not big. NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. So if you need a rest stop, go to another place. I picked up a large fountain drink and some pretzels. Staff were fine, nothing exceptional or horrid. Mostly because of the tricky parking and lack of public bathrooms I'll likely stop at another place. I think this one survives because it's a busy intersection and other locations are not particularly close. read more

This location is not typical of your average Wawa. Hard to get into it, hard to find it, hard to park. It's a little slow with the service but that's just the two times I've been in there lately. Sometimes there's no incident and I'm in and out just depends on staff that day. read more

I live right around the corner from this wawa and go here pretty often. Usually they are pretty good and quick with orders, but tonight i ordered a chicken sandwich and they forgot the chicken. Kinda pathetic. I mean the instructions on how to make the sandwich with the ingredients are right in the receipt. I hope this is just a one time thing. read more

This is the closest Wawa to our new place, so it's now our most frequented location. It does have a bit of an older format as others have said, but it's pretty conveniently located, and it offers everything I've come to love at Wawa - coffee, sandwiches, Sizzlis... great to stop over for breakfast since it's so close. There are some drawbacks to this location, though. Maybe because it's an older Wawa or maybe because their systems are a little funky, payment using the Wawa app doesn't always work here. Also, although the location is convenient in terms of the street/intersection, the parking lot is kind of a pain to navigate and can get crowded. read more

I am a Wawa lover. My love for wawa began in September 2017. I love that wawa offers a great variety of meals...however...if I walk into this wawa, one more time, and NOT see their overly delicious chocolate cookies available for purchase, I will scream bloody murder! And if the company won't switch the toppings options for any food item, that has that Frisca tomato-like topping, to REGULAR tomatoes, I'll scream bloody murder again! Oh! And the goodies/sweet treats/ snacks are almost ALWAYS out! I assume that's because they're always short staffed?? I don't know, but those are my only negative about this Wawa. read more

Went to wawa with my friend she ordered a chicken quesadilla i ordered a cheese quesadilla, however we get home and look in the boxes and there are TWO chicken quesadillas. I am vegetarian and do not eat chicken, this made me really sad i cried a little. Going back would've been super inconvenient and i didn't want to pull a karen. I love wawa and i have been going to this location for a while. I usually got the made-to-order food, I think that's what it is called, since I like the options they give you. However, when I went there the other day I saw an employee who was working the made-to-order counter wipe his nose on his gloves, didn't change the gloves, and then proceed to make people's orders. Again, I love wawa, but I won't be getting anymore made-to-order foods from here. I know some of the dirty stuff that goes on in food service from being in it, but it doesn't make any less disgusting. read more

Visited: Saturday - January 3, 2014 - 12:15 PM Customers lined up facing the register to pay for their lunchtime goodies. I ordered a roast beef shorti through a series of buttons on the touch-screen activated monitor. I ordered the shorti with tomatoes, lettuce, and a side of sweet peppers. One final button and I received a printout of my order - number 944. No Wawa visit is complete without a cup of hot, black, coffee. I chose the 12 oz. cup of hazelnut and walked to the sandwich counter to see if said sandwich was ready. As I approached the sandwich counter an employee announced "944"......that'll be mine - Thank you! The cashier was cheerful and wished everyone a Happy New Year. The sandwich and coffee were very good. Note: This Wawa location is at the Shoppes of Lafayette Hill shopping center. Parking is tight and unforgiving along the front of the stores. Let me start out with this: I'm obsessed with Wawa. As a Philly transplant, I was at first kind of weirded out by the idea of getting a sandwich (or dinner in general) at what I perceived to be a convenience store. Obviously, I was wrong. One of my first stops upon returning to the city during my college years was always Wawa. So, I love Wawa. I live equidistant from 2 Wawas now, and this one is an inferior store. I only went here because the road was closed in front of my normal store (the one on the Butler Pike). The employees do seem to loathe their existences (as Brandon K. pointed out), and even loathe each other. There is just a weird vibe there. The person making sandwiches the night I went was chatty (in the weirdest way) and wasn't all that good at actually making hoagies! Mine was cut strangely, and just wasn't put together well. Hoagie making is an art, and this employee is just on the finger-painting level. So, drive to the one on Ridge or Butler. Avoid this one, unless you absolutely cannot go anywhere else. read more

A convenient convenience store, but this is one of their smaller locations. Parking is a bit tough. I'm a huge fan of Wawa but this location has horrible parking.

So I had a huge aversion to WaWa as I like 7-11 better since that is what I know. I think WaWa is way overpriced for candy BUT with the do it yourself milkshake machine and the rockin sandwich line I am now a huge fan! The sandwich computer order screen is awesome and it even ask how much mayo you want! And it is so cheap and really good! It even offers hot peppers. I love this wawa and come every day since I work locally. Unfortunately I had a bad experience today when I ordered a bowl. As a vegetarian, the protein options for me aren't in existence, so I simply pressed special order and when Emerald called my number I simply asked her if she could give me vegetables so that my bowl is more filling and worth the almost $6. When I asked, she responded with a very rude "sure..." after staring at me like I asked her if I could borrow $250. I stood there and watched her make it, and she did NOT give me what i asked of her. I asked a very simple question, not only got a rude response, but didn't get what I asked for. Emerald is rude, has horrible customer service skills, and needs to smile a bit more seeing as she's interacting with customers and shouldn't look so miserable. I know wawa may not be the best of jobs but seeing as my request was simple, I didn't deserve a response like that. read more
