When there are franchises, I really try not to compare them to other franchises, but this place is a solid two compared to other Wawa's and a two on its own... Service is slow, especially at off-times. Up the street, they've been trying to build a super wawa, which would be a great thing for the area since we only have these old and stale wawa locations. I wish they would put in a sheetz, but whatever... One register open with a long line. Sandwich wait was about eighteen minutes... I don't get it. I think it was the changing of the guards and some staff were leaving as others were coming. I'll try to avoid this place at 2:00 pm, even more than I usually do. Wawa Pizza is not gas station food. Who ever said this they are so wrong we are a fast food store. I believe there is a great opportunity to change. The garlic bred knots. To bread stick garlic butter with Pram cheese on them an a dipping sauce. Would be a great move. We should have meat lovers extreme pizza. And a great vegetarian lovers also. The service is great. I come to this WAWA often (too often) since it is close to work. I've ordered the chicken noodle soup on numerous occasions so I want to think that this was an isolated incident. I ordered a Large Chicken Noodle Soup ($4.09) and what I received was nothing close to what I would describe as chicken noodle soup. There was no soup! no Broth! And to top it off, there was only enough chicken and noodles to fill a medium size cup. I know...I should have opened the soup before leaving the store or I could have went back (but it's inconvenient). I feel that I should have gotten what I ordered. I have reviewed several Wawa's, nothing different here. Regular sized Wawa, its not a "Super Wawa" like the ones you see popping up now. Went in for my green tea and noticed a line was forming with one cashier. I thought , great... one lady behind the counter , and 10 people deep. By the time I got the tea and made my way to the line, it was gone. We are talking entering, going to the fridge finding your choice of beverage.. 30 secs.. 40 tops. In that amount of time the line was gone. I looked and I saw another attendant came out of nowhere (ninja-esk) and just tore it up. Team work .. that's what i am talking about . This doesn't even earn one star. I visited this store two days before Thanksgiving to order lunch (hot turkey bowls) as a treat for my coworkers and I to celebrate the holiday at the office. I ordered using the kiosk in the store, and selected 10 hot turkey bowls and 1 hot turkey sandwich, without any complicated specifications. This was around 11:40am, ahead of the lunch rush. I have never felt more embarrassed at a Wawa food service counter in my life. The level of unprofessional customer service by the staff was incredulous. After I placed my order, I went to the cashier to pay. While standing in line, I thought I had heard my order number being called, but didn't think my order was completed that quickly, so I didn't acknowledge. At that point I heard some of the staff behind the food counter, say "Oh look, she's in line and not even paying attention to us!" Everyone in the store heard this rude comment and watched as one staff member approached me in line, just to verify that I had in fact ordered 10 turkey bowls. I confirmed and continued with paying for my order. She had not mentioned that there might be any issues, in regards to running out of ingredients, so I didn't think anything of it. While waiting at the food service counter, I watched the staff put together my order. At that point, someone behind the counter told me that I should have called ahead because I was depleting their supplies. She had a bad attitude and was extremely rude. Her comment did not even make sense; they were going to sell 10 turkey bowls that day regardless if one person ordered, or 10 individual people. Should those 10 people have also called ahead to alert them of their order? No. After completing my order, they had apparently run out of stuffing, a key ingredient to the turkey bowls. The same staff member who had told me I should have called ahead, called me to the counter and said that they were "short one half stuffing" for the last turkey bowl, offering me a substitution of mac and cheese. I was happy with this option, thinking that I was still getting some stuffing plus mac and cheese, because that was how I understood "short one half stuffing".... half. When I reiterated that to her, she rolled her eyes and said sternly, "We are out of stuffing". To avoid further confrontation, I asked her to explain what ingredients were going to be in that last bowl. She spoke to me as though I were a five year old. It was humiliating to say the least, in a crowded store. As I was gathering my bags, I realized that they had only prepared the 10 turkey bowls, leaving out the hot turkey sandwich. They quickly put it together and basically threw it in my direction, as though it was rude of me to ask for more food. Another patron placed his order and was told they were out of stuffing. You could see his disappointment. The staff's response to him was, "This is why", as they gestured towards my order and pointed directly at me. This was extremely rude and uncalled for. That customer ended up walking out of the store, even after they offered him a refund. Whether I myself, as one customer purchased 10 hot turkey bowls, or there were 10 individual customers purchasing the same, they were going to run out of the ingredient either way. It was unnecessary to blame me as a paying customer ($75 order). I felt as though I was being shamed for making a large purchase or that it was completely unheard of for someone to order more than one hot turkey bowl 2 days before Thanksgiving. It was not my fault as a paying customer, that this location was not prepared with the proper inventory of ingredients. We are in Pennsylvania, where people love Wawa and look forward to this time of year to get their Turkey Gobblers/ Turkey Bowls. Manage your inventory better, work on your customer service all around, and understand that during lunch time you might be asked to put together multiple Turkey orders especially during the week of Thanksgiving. read more

Today is Thursday, July 26th. I ordered a steak breakfast burrito around 9am, and it is a the best G.D. breakfast burrito I have ever had. The steak, egg, cheddar cheese, chipotle sauce, hash brown, and pepper are perfectly proportioned on each bite. Normally during the work week I hit up Wawa for lunch, a turkey shortie wheat, usually without cheese, little bit of mayo and the salad options including cucumbers. Today I visited this wawa in hopes of a quicker return to my office. I picked up my sandwich from the counter and it felt much lighter than any shortie I've bought in the last three months. The employees seem to enjoy each other and make a great hoagie and a delicious smoothie. There is probably a formula to these things, but I actually stop going to certain Wawas because their sandwich making skills stink (see Germantown Ave. Wawa). It's a smaller Wawa. I don't even know where to begin on this one. I came here at 1:30am and ordered a hoagie, the girl making it (Kim) was clearly on drugs. Her eyes were rolling to the back of her head and she kept leaning forward and dipping out while making my hoagie. I knew it was going to be messed up before I even got it, but I didn't expect for it to have PAPER from the turkey inside the sandwich. I ordered turkey, cheese, tomato, lettuce,chipotle sauce and two side toppings. What I received was a PAPER and PICKLE hoagie. I stopped in for a Hot Turkey Bowl (Order #718) at 1:23pm. I had my lips already set, as I watched the woman make my order. I noticed that she didn't add the cranberries on top of the turkey bowl. When I asked, she replies, "Oh we're all out of cranberries". Okay, when where you going to tell me. The highlight of the Hot Turkey Bowl is the cranberries that really set off the taste. Well, I was disappointed the say the least. However, what almost sent me over the edge was a colleague of the woman saying," Ah sorry, the next time you come in just ask for Jeff and we'll give you extra cranberries". Are you Friggin kidding me! It doesn't help me now! Why would someone make a dish minus the extra ingredient, and not let the consumer know until after the fact. That's not good business.
