I don't usually come to this Wawa location because it's always extremely busy, and unfortunately, it tends to be pretty dirty. The coffee station especially is often messy, mostly from customers not cleaning up after themselves. I've also noticed that the prepackaged fruit especially the watermelon doesn't look very fresh. It often has that deep red, almost overripe look, which makes me hesitant to buy it. To be fair, the workers seem very busy, so it's understandable that they don't always have time to keep everything spotless. I did see someone vacuuming, which was good, but it might really help if they had a dedicated person just focused on cleaning throughout the day while others handle food orders. The store also feels very small, which makes it seem even more crowded than it probably is. With so many people coming in for made to order food, it gets packed quickly and adds to the overall hectic feel. Yes, it was busy however the people working in the back were SUPER slow, we're having full blown conversations instead of making the food and kept taking breaks again instead of making the food. I visited this location on Friday evening to purchase the new dinner option, pizza. After exhausting my patients and not being able to find it on the dinner menu Kiosk, I asked a young lady for assistance, she nonchalantly said it's on there since we serve it from 4pm - 3am. I then asked asked a young man to assist and he took the time to go into a back office and check. He returned to tell me that they weren't serving pizza since they didn't have boxes. Well this was time waisted and I'll never visit that location again!! Worst wawa I've ever been to there's like two good employees here but everyone else including the management lacks any sort of professionalism. Orders take far longer than any other wawa a even when it's not busy. I see staff get aggressive with rude customers and each other on a frequent basis. Unlike other wawas I rarely see management helping out with their employees' tasks. Given they are never visible you'd think they would be able to keep their inventory stocked. But I saw a 6 month period in the past year where the fridges were nearly empty at all times. Overall, this store is a shit stain on the wawa name and is desperate need of a clean house. There are two wawas within ten minutes. Go there you'll spend that time waiting in line anyway and you won't have to worry about a cashier yelling across the store at a customer. read more

Food prep area is very dirty as well as the utensils and floor. Touch screens are so full of dirty finger prints that you think twice before touching them. I asked the Mr Shane to prepare my sandwich on paper because what I was seeing and to change his gloves and he had a problem with my request. I just asked for a refund and left. Being an non-Pennsylvania resident, I was super excited to hear about going to the famous Wawa. It's clean and has friendly staff. I love how they have the food section where you just tap on the screen to order and then you just pay up front and then wait for them to call your order. The gas prices are very reasonable. And their food is good! I've had a breakfast burrito, chicken salad sandwich and a strawberry banana smoothie. All in which I was satisfied with. Always fresh and out of the oven. Wow, the manager Jim and food preparer Taylor saved this review from being a 2 star! I use to live in Philly, and during my visit back, I craved me some Wawa so we came here. Easy parking, but very crowded and at some point the system went down and only was accepting cash transactions. From the time I ordered my sandwich to still standing there for pick up was well over 15-20 minutes. I knew it was busy so was trying to be patient but noticed people behind me were getting their orders. Just as I was checking my order time on my ticket, Jim approached me and said he noticed I had been waiting awhile. He took my tickets and followed up with the food prep staff. I know that Wawa isn't a fine dining establishment, and my expectations for customer service are never very high at any convenience store. Yet this location still manages to consistently fall short on both counts. Most recently, I ordered a salad with croutons. A got a salad with about a half cup of breadcrumbs! Complaining to management would be a futile effort as they clearly have no real sense of customer service. The best thing about this place is that there are relatively clean restrooms available 24/7. read more

I usually wait 30 minutes for food when there are a lot of people which is understood but I was the only one to order food this time. It still took 30 minutes. 20 minutes of waiting, they stop talking behind the food counter and tell me they do not have what I want. I come home and find beans (which I'm allergic too) in my taco bowl, which I specifically did not order. To top that off, I watched a lady go text on my phone in her gloves and then handle food/ beverage. Her face grease is on the phone and then touched food. Glad to have a wawa close by but service is hit or miss. The sandwich makers forget items and/or put extra ish on the order, and get an attitude when you complain. Attempt going during off peak times and you may get better results. Parking lot always at least mildly busy so be careful bc some ppl speed through without paying attention. I usually go to the Wawa on Limekiln pike, but this new location just opened up. It is closer to the towers apartments and the shopping center on Ogontz Avenue so it is at a busier location. For being a new store, the staff is always friendly and they work hard making the prepared food. The set up is a bit different than some Wawas I've been in. I like that the coffee section is separate from the busy area where people order from the touch screens and get prepared food. My favorite thing about this new location is the huge parking lot! There are never traffic jams because there is plenty of space to maneuver around other cars. It is also a super Wawa so there is gas there as well. read more

Like most Philadelphians I love Wawa. It's a great place for hoagie, soup, and snacks. Their milkshakes are top notch and you can even fill up your tank while you're there! But alas, all Wawas are not created equally and this location has been disappointing. I usually go to Wawa for lunch but this location is close to my home so when I want Wawa on the weekend or after work this is my go to spot. Every time I go to this Wawa to get a sandwich it is prepared incorrectly. My most recent visit my sandwich had no mayo when I asked for extra mayo. Usually Wawa hoagies and sandwiches hit the spot but I'm always underwhelmed after eating from this location. I don't know what the issue is with this location but they need to fix it fast. read more

This is a good location but the quality of the store doesn't reflect it, the premade salad and fruit section is never stocked, the fountain drink/ icee station was a mess from lids and straws everywhere to spills from customer drinks, 3/4 flavors of the icee machine weren't working and the "working" one was all liquid. July 9, 2019, I visited Wawa store which is my favorite must stop shop gas and go store of all times. However, an employee named Benjamin, was so mean and disrespectful to me for challenging a price of bottled water that was stored in the wrong location at the wrong price. I ultimately purchased two bottles of that water at a special but never should had been treated or talked to in the manner that he and the supervisor spoke. I don't think they have ever heard the phrase fast food. They have serious attitudes and are just plain unpleasant. This store needs a total revamp of employees. Since this Wawa's opening a few months ago, I've found myself traveling there instead of the Wawa closer to my apartment. It's clean, has a newer design than some of the older stores, and also offers gas. It's size, in comparison to stores nearby, is definitely a selling point when I'm deciding where to go. Nothing worse than a packed Wawa, in my opinion. A downside, however, is the staffing of the registers. Every time I visit this store, compared to others in the area, I feel as though I have to wait a significant amount of time to process a payment. This can be especially frustrating when my food is ready, but I have to wait to pay and leave. Some of the register staff just don't seem to pick up the pace when a longer line is forming. I was nearly left speechless today. Allow me to preface this review with the fact that I worked in retail my entire life up until recently, so I really do try my best to give retail employees a lot of slack. A few weeks ago I stopped at this Wawa before work, and I ordered a buffalo chicken quesadilla. I was driving away, looking ahead when I took one piece out of the box. I made sure to be very careful so that I didn't spill anything, but as soon as I picked up the piece I felt buffalo sauce leaking all over my lap. It had spilled so much buffalo sauce much that it actually bypassed the coat I had in my lap acting as a "bib!" I looked down at the box, and I really am not exaggerating when I say that everything was soaked with buffalo sauce. It was swishing around with each bump of the car, and I was really shocked. It must have filled at least 1/5 of the box it came in, and I mean it when I say there was literally no feasible way of eating this quesadilla without it dripping everywhere. It was so watery! The buffalo sauce didn't even stick on the quesadilla because all of it (must have been at least 1/4 a bottle) leaked out into the box. I tried to give them some slack, and I brushed it off as perhaps just a bad day. So today I stopped by again, and I ordered a cheese quesadilla with onions. Thankfully this time they did not manage to drown my quesadilla in liquid or ruin any more jeans, but they certainly didn't have the opportunity because I made sure not to order anything similar to last time as a precaution. However, I'm sitting in front of my quesadilla right now, and I swear they used an entire onion for my quesadilla. I don't remember ordering salsa for this quesadilla so for some reason without any prompting they put it in with the cheese. I hate cilantro, so I hate their salsa with a burning passion. However, I was able to get past that, and I love, love, love onions. However, pthis is just shocking. There are more onions pieces than cheese! So I think I just give up at this point. This Wawa makes the worst quesadillas I've ever encountered, and everything else I've tried was mediocre. Chicken corn chowder is watery, and the hoagies are just meh. It tastes to me that they aren't using very fresh lunchmeats or vegetables. I will be going to a different store going forward. I have already wasted too much money on this store. read more

We are so happy they put his Wawa in our neighborhood. It is clean with friendly staff. It reminds me of the one in Florida by my vacation property. Gas prices totally on point and let's not mention the mini variety of food choices a fresh pastries. The WAWA that I normally visit in Florida when they built it everyone was happy because he created job growth in the community also the company donates hours time and money to the community events. As long as I'm a member of this community I will continue to support this location. It is the only company that is creating job growth within each community every time a new location opens. read more

WORSE WaWa EVER!!!!! They have a bunch of teenagers/college kids working here. I stopped here on Sunday to get hot tea. There were no tea bags out to even make tea, and no one was around to ask. Every time I go there, its busy and I get that part but a lot of the staff do not even seem to care about the store appearance, or moving the food orders along. However, if you want to hear the latest gossip, this location is your spot!!! I have literally heard the food makers gossiping about people, cursing, and carrying on as they make food which is UNPROFESSIONAL. Not sure who the GM is now (it was Jim, and he is completely USELESS) but this store needs corrective action sooner rather then later. You can not be friends with the staff and expect them to respect you, and this store proves that time after time. Stay away from this location if at possible. I stopped at this Wawa to get gas before running some errands. They have a good number of gas pumps so thought it would be a quick fill up and go. However, all the pumps had cars BUT people were not filling their cars with gas BECAUSE there was NO ONE in the cars. Evidently, folks get their gas and instead of moving their car, they leave their car IN FRONT of the pump while they go into Wawa, shop and THEN move their car after they are done with their purchase. There was a lot of cars waiting to get gas but no one was in in a hurry to return to their car. It was if they thought this is how you do it. Insane. This location is awful. The people making the sandwiches are rude and careless. I've watched them make my sandwich a few times. I ordered light mayo, woman slopped 2 HUGE blobs of mayo on the sandwich and didn't bother to spread it. All in the center, yuck. Another time I ordered a meatball sub and when I opened it, it was drenched in sauce all over the outside and bottom of roll. Of course meatballs can be messy, but it was obviously done so carelessly. Honestly a blind person could put together a better sandwich. I've seen people make special requests and the women taking orders roll their eyes. So rude. All other Wawas I've been too have had courteous and careful employees for the most part.
