Employees are incredibly unhelpful. I have problems all the time. Today, for example, I went to pick up my medicines in the evening and explicitly told them which ones I wanted. They said only one was ready (even though both had been called in during the morning). Then pharmacist asked me a question about it and told me to wait for it to be filled. I waited for 20 minutes and then went back to the pharmacy counter and picked it up. I got home and realized that they had filled the precise medicine that I told them NOT to fill. Now, I have to go back. As I was checking out, I tried to buy some other items, one of which allegedly did not scan. Instead of trying to fix the problem, the employees waved me off and told me to just pay for the medicine and then go to the front counter to pay for the rest of my items. Another time, they tried to charge me $200 for one of my medicines. I insisted on talking to the pharmacist, and after several minutes I was told insurance was coming up as AETNA (which it isn't). It took several minutes to resolve the situation. I never got any explanation for the error. Also, I am signed up for delivery, but this summer their delivery service was inoperable for several weeks. Apparently, it's working again, but I can NEVER get ahold of anyone on the phone to ask them to deliver it. I never receive text messages letting me know that I can request delivery (as with other CVS pharmacies). A few weeks ago I called and was on hold for 45 minutes and finally hung up. read more

One star is really being nice. If I could give have a star I would. I've complained several times about the customer service at the pharmacy and nothing ever gets done. The staff and pharmacist are rude. It's not the customers fault that your having a bad day. CVS really needs to train their staff on how to greet customers. They need to learn manners. read more

Terrible experience. CVS Texas entered prescription details erroneaously. CVS Glendale can't help. I have to call them myself and have the edit made. Done. Pharmacist now needs to speak with Doctor told me they had called and left message. They did not. Shamed twice publicly over quantity - it's a fungicide FFS. My Doctor called them. Now waiting behind 18 people. I'm 90 mins into this. Horrible experience. Manager DM me if you care. I doubt you will. I came to this CVS location to get something for the pain in my neck, mainly due to allergies, but after dealing with poor customer service, I left with a pain where the sun doesn't shine. Mostly, all CVS locations carry the same products but I'm sure they don't carry the same attitudes. Not only attitudes, but this location has some shady, or strange, log that I'm not sure is legitimate. After dealing with allergies, I decided to purchase a humidifier. After purchasing this humidifier, I realized it helped my allergies but the machine was rather noisy. So, I decided to return the humidifier, and that's when I experienced chaos at the store. The cashier informed me that I must write my personal information on a log in order to get my refund. This log, which consists of other customers' information, includes full names, phone numbers, and drivers' license numbers. Immediately, I informed that cashier that I will not provide all that information and that it seems illegal that they're retaining and publicizing their customers' personal information. Again, I adamantly informed the cashier that I won't provide all that information and stated if she didn't issue my refund I will call my credit card company to dispute that particular purchase. All in all, the cashier issued my refund and receipt. This particular cashier wasn't the friendliest, because she gave the customer before me a hard time. The customer before me didn't have a CVS card, so the cashier wouldn't honor the sale prices for her purchases. That customer, bravely, turned and asked if anyone would let her use their CVS card and, someone did. Some people take their jobs a little too serious. That cashier should be counting her blessings that I didn't mention her name, but I did notice a change in her attitude while I was talking with her. If I ever return to this store, I hope to see a change for the better. read more

The only reason why I give this CVS two stars is because I'm able to go to the RedBox out front and I can easily find movies that are sold out at other RedBox locations. I love that. The lines here are extremely long. It took me 45 minutes to get out of here because there were two cashiers and they were both extremely slow. Luckily by the time I was next in line, one of the managers came out to open up another register. I was helped in 2 minutes and I was out of there when the other customers were still being helped, time exceeding 5 minutes. At both registers. I avoid this place like the plague and only go when convenient. read more

Tried to have photos printed here, submitted the order online, and upon calling to see if my order was ready 6 hours after it was estimated, no one in the store was able to see my order, help me, or tell me how to resolve it. Oh! And I got hung up on twice after waiting on hold for X amount of minutes. Not a called dropped, or anything to that effect. Someone picked up the phone, took me off hold, and hung up. My son has a prescription here and they never seem to have his meds available. He needs to have these meds and should not be off the medication for long periods of time. However these pharmacist and whoever the other people there are rude and seem to only want to help their own. When my son had his prescription at a CVS up north if one location didn't have his prescription they would send it off to another cvs so he wasn't off his meds. This place says they can't transfer the prescriptions once they are sent here they can't send else where. When I asked them to please transfer it to another cvs they literally laughed in my face and spoke in Armenian and then said "no we can't". I remember speaking English to them so I don't know why speak in Armenian like I understand. They should hire someone that speaks Spanish too. I've continually had this issue with this place. Yes I know someone is going to say why not change? Because this is the closest cvs pharmacy and because they have his info and everything. However this place just continues to give people a hard time with medication because the gentleman in-front of me had the same issue got a call showed up and they magically don't have it. So now my son is off medication for 2 weeks already and these past 4 days I've made trips to this cvs and they don't have his meds. I would not recommend if you have a loved one that needs to stay on meds to live. read more

Incredibly rude person at the pharmacy answering her phone, asked me what do you want !! Not knowing that I was returning their call. I TRIED TO explain , she Spoke over me and told me it was too early for this! I understand m there is a lot going on but her customer service is horrible and I will have to complain because SHE HAD THE NERVE TO HANG UP ON ME. We came in one morning to get passport photos for our son , about two Customers in line . He is a baby and there were plenty of people to help . So the girl comes up to me and says they can't do it because last time they tried with a baby it took 30 min ! ?! Umm ok do your job ! You offer passport photos and I need passport photos plus my baby is super good and loves the camera we would of been in and out , but no she had attitude and sent us off . Like really if baby wasn't with me I would of regulated , don't offer photos if you are lazy ! Never coming back and you shouldn't either . read more

I been coming to this place for over five years and it never seems to amaze me, the line is always long like 8 to 10 people at front of me. Customer service is short of service do to short of staff, the front store cash register line is as long as the pharmacy. Review is for the pharmacy department. The associate was very rude when I went to pick up my prescription. She was very unprofessional and made me go back-and-forth in the line in order to get my prescription. She already had my prescription in her hand by the checkout line yet she still asked me to go stand in the line when I was already in the line. The lines are horrifying in this CVS... They usually have one or maybe just maybe if your lucky 2 cashiers... and they are really really really slow!!! The pharmacy takes tooooo long with your medications. If they say come back in 2 hours, make sure you go back in 5 hours and expect them to not have it ready.... The extra star is because I live close by and its easy for me to go there.. even though it takes FOREVER to get out of there. read more

This place can best be compared to the DMV as the wait to pay seems that long. I never understand, they recently spent at least a couple hundred thousand upgrading and remodeling the store but they are unable to get a couple of more cashiers or for god's sake a couple of self service registers. I really don't blame the employees, as you can tell they are being used for 10 different positions including cashier, stocker, inventory, as well as helping slow po grandma develop photos from the shiny modern camera she just got from target...LOL. Hence, I dread going here as the lines are so damn long whereas sometimes I end of waiting almost 15-20 minutes just to pay for one thing. This is by far the worst retail establishment I have ever been to in the state of California, and I'm not one who's prone to hyperbole. (In facr I'm generally rather even-keeled!) When my Long's Drugs closed they automatically switched it to this CVS, and I was too lazy to change it myself for months and months. I'd estimate I had prescriptions refilled about 15 times total at this location, and every single one of those visits was marred by incompetence, ridiculously long lines, and cases of rudeness by staff to either myself or overheard to other customers. There is something seriously wrong with this pharmacy. CVS needs to fire everyone and hire a new staff, because their workflow is bass-ackwards, their auto-refill system refills whether or not you want it (or even signed up for it), very few people there understand English without repeating it, their prescriptions are never ready on time, and I've never waited in line for less than 15 minutes at this location. I got into the habit of timing my visits to this CVS because of an ongoing joke with my boyfriend, and I once timed a visit that lasted 39 minutes - about 35 of that was waiting in line at the RX pickup window, and the other 4 minutes was the act of actually getting my RX and checking out. Holy crap someone please demolish this horrible store. read more

I see so many bad reviews on here about customer service and long lines, but in all honesty, I have yet to have a bad experience here. Maybe it's because I tend to go right when they open and there's obviously less chaos ensuing?! Either way, I'm always greeted when I walk in and I usually end up having a nice convo with whoever is checking me out. The times I have needed the pharmacy, I have also had a pretty good experience. A few times there was a line, but nothing outrageous or unusual for a pharmacy. In fact, most pharmacies get slammed around peak hours which I think ppl should expect? When there has been a line, the pharmacists have always been kind, courteous and apologetic for the wait. Not to sound hokey, but I just try to practice the golden rule in these situations and pass the kindness forward. :) read more

PHARMACY: I was excited to have this convenient CVS be my local pharmacy. Alas, after 3 disastrous attempts to have prescriptions filled there, I will never be using their pharmacy again. First of all, I will say that one of their managers was really helpful and went above and beyond to help figure out my insurance coverage when I started a new job and it wasn't clear where I was in the system. That was great. BUT, it doesn't make up for the wait times, the ridiculous lack of clarity in their system, and the long lines. Twice I called ahead to see if my prescription was ready to pick up, twice they said "when are you coming?" and I gave them a time several hours later in the day. I get to CVS to pick it up, after standing in a looong line, I finally get to the front - only to find it's not ready yet. "Just wait." So, I wait... and wait... and wait... I finally get back in the long line, get to the front again, they go to check on it, and it was still being filled. This is after an hour of waiting in the store, after calling it in several hours earlier in the day. This happened to me twice (the first time it took forever due to the aforementioned insurance issue). I switched to Walgreens up on Foothill, drove thru the pharmcy, was in and out of there in under 5 min. THE REST OF THE STORE - is fine, there is always a short wait to check out but it's not too bad most of the time. read more

Worst Pharmacy ever! Every time I go there to pick-up my medications...THEY ARE NOT READY!!! I always call and make sure that they will get them ready before I get there because of the long queue (I call 4-5 hours before pick-up time and PT will tell me that it will be ready by the time I get there). You get there and they're not ready. Who wants to wait for another 15-30 minutes after being in line for quite some time just to get the missing medication/s. This particular location is just so disorganized and unreliable! read more

Ok where to begin... Lets start w the crazy people in the parking lot either a)fighting for parking or b) chilling at a parking lot mid afternoon. Moving on to the inside of the store.. Lets see, I have never seen this place have less than 5 customers waiting for an unreasonably long time to pay. I noticed a lot of people complaining about the customer service, even though it wasn't great I'd like to think that they're just tired and probably stressed from being understaffed. On Memorial day i went to pick up some meds but the pharmacy was closed and I asked one of the clerks if any of the pharmacies were open and she said no all of them were closed. I went to cvs in montrose and they said they were open that day. #2 The manager of this place should be fired because I've noticed that there is a stain on the floor for about two months already and they dont bother to clean it. I go to this CVS because it is near my place, but I think I'll start driving further to go elsewhere. There is always a line, and when I asked the manager about this frequent occurence he was impatient and rude. Today, I went to get a prescription filled. Three ladies behind the counter, every one as rude as could be. First lady, the manager, couldn't smile because it might have broken her face. Second lady, kept getting confused about which prescription was mine. Third lady, walked away before I had finished my debit transaction, and threw the prescription on the counter like I was a dirty drug addict come for her methodone shot. Give me a break! This pharmacy is horrible. When there is a problem with a prescription they wait until you come in to inform you. When your sick making multiple trips or having an extra long way time is difficult. They also think it's ok to randomly change which birth control your on, again without asking you if it's ok. They have no respect for their patients, and are incompetent. read more

I have never had an issue with customer service here. I'm very sorry to have to resort to using race as a description but I don't know any of their names, however there is an Armenian manager, a white older lady and a young white guy who are always so incredibly friendly and helpful. But I definitely have to agree with others, this place always has a long line at the registers. There's just something about this place that feels so old and run down. They never seem to have a nice stock on hand in their cosmetics area :/ I always end up going to the CVS on Los Feliz instead. read more
