Totally disorganized pharmacy. Ridiculous that they close down completely for lunch instead of staggering lunch breaks. I get notifications that prescriptions are ready only to arrive later the same day to be told not yet ready. "Can you wait 15-20 minutes?" Which turns easily to a half hour. This CVS is the BEST. The manager, Aldo, always goes out of his way for you. He recently spent time helping me print an important photo. I had tried at a different CVS, but they gave up. Aldo didn't. The negligence and indifference at CVS Pharmacy, 65 Glen Street, Glen Cove NY, are absolutely inexcusable. My prescriber sent a valid, fully authorized prescription on August 14, 2025, which was immediately approved by both my doctor and my insurance. Yet, more than two months later, this pharmacy has failed to fill the medication or provide any explanation whatsoever. My doctor's office has contacted this CVS multiple times, leaving detailed messages and follow-ups, and has received no response at all. This level of disregard is unacceptable for any licensed pharmacy and represents a serious breach of professional duty and patient care standards. The continued refusal to process an authorized prescription essential for treatment is not a simple delay -- it is a reckless disregard for patient well-being. If this matter is not resolved by the close of business today, I will be filing formal complaints with the New York State Board of Pharmacy, the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP), and CVS corporate. I have been a loyal CVS customer my entire life because I trusted the brand's integrity and commitment to care. I just pushed the button for customer assistance three times before I went to Walgreens to buy Claritin and cough drops. The price was $2.50 more but someone immediately came and helped me. That's the result of CVS forcing customers to use self checkout and having one over tasked person on staff. read more

Horrible pharmacy staff. Super slow; I've waited in line for half and hour with two people ahead of me. Today they told me my prescription wasn't covered by insurance, and would be over $600 even though I had a discount card from my doctor. I left extremely upset without my meds, called the doctor back, went back to the pharmacy after the doctor called again, and then the same person said "Oh, it's $39.00; I didn't know you had a discount card" when I had TOLD her I had one the first time. Horrible store. It's very short staffed. I just waited on line at the pharmacy for a half hour to pick up prescriptions. They don't answer the phone due to being so short staffed. I tried to complain to the store manager, but the cashier said the manager was "in the bathroom " for 15 minutes. This is the worst run CVS store in the area. read more

The pharmacy is horrific. The waits are very long and the communication skills of the pharmacy staff are very poor. I use this pharmacy only when necessary. One time they told me they couldn't fill my prescription because I no longer had insurance, meanwhile I had seen a doctor that day, filled a prescription fine at another pharmacy the same day, and also used this pharmacy the day prior. No insurance issues. Very absurd place. read more

This CVS is my favorite one! The customer service is excellent in comparison to a lot of other ones I have been to. I go out of my to go to it sometimes when I am not in the area. The staff is helpful and is always happy to help. They even get excited when I save money from their reward points! I get all of my prescriptions there and feel comfortable. They also usually have everything in stock. read more

a good well organized cvs in glen cove with a hugh back parking lot. the folks who work here are very friendly and keep each aisle stocked, clean and organized . it's simple to find what you need and plenty of weekly sales going on especially on soda, paper towels , bathroom paper (i can't say toilet paper ). i always use my cvs card for future savings and i usually find what i need. a few times i needed some advice on skin cream and the pharmacist was very helpful. no lines at all and check out is a breeze . much better customer service compared to the city . read more
