Understaffed, expect to waste hours of your life trying to get an answer on your medication or to pick it up.

I am an MD who has worked with hundreds of inpatient and outpatient pharmacists and this CVS pharmacist is by far the dumbest and most linear thinker I have ever encountered. The Rx MD miswrote the Rx route of the pill. When I brought the pills back to the pharmacy she was immediately defensive and showed me the Rx the MD wrote and said I would have to dispose of the pills and have them write a new Rx. Mind you the CoPay for this medication was $100. She would not answer if the medication could be used in another route. I had to call my hospital pharmacy and give them the NDC number and they confirmed that the pill could be used in both routes. When I came back to confirm with the pharmacist that this was true she again refused to answer and said that "I should know since I am an MD". I am an internist not an Ob Gyn and this knowledge of route of a particular medication should be well within a pharmacists training. All she had to do on the first visit was to say, "I have looked up this medication and can be used in either route. I would hold onto the medication but not recommend taking it in the alternative route until you speak to your prescribing provider". read more

This is the worst CVS I have ever had the misfortune of going to. No matter if you go to the drive through or inside, you're going to be waiting at least 30 minutes or more to get waited on, and that was BEFORE covid. It's even worse now. I've been a regular patron of CVS in Spring Hill, Franklin and Mt Juliet in the past because my insurance requires we use their pharmacy. This one is horrendous and the worst I have ever had the misfortune to use. I had to stop using this pharmacy and I have never done this before. They do not call you or otherwise alert you if a prescription is not being filled or price changes. I went through a brief medical issue before my surgery that was very serious and required daily medication and was potentially life threatening. I arrived at least 3-4 times to either find they didn't do the refill even though my dr had ordered it and previous bottle said x amount of refills remaining. All times but once I paid out of pocket because I have to pick up at night and they didn't let me know anything was wrong with pickup so I arrived to be told I needed to pay full price for a medicine that would have been covered by insurance if a call had been made during hours. So I paid full price. The final straw was the last time I showed up to get a medication at full price which went from $20-50 overnight for something insurance should have covered either way. I will NEVER step foot in this pharmacy again unless hell literally freezes over! I have NEVER in my life met such rude and disrespectful people. They we so incompetent. They lied directly to my face about contacting my doctor. The doctor claims and I do believe my Dr's nurse CVS never contacted nor faxed any information needed. They hung on me multiple times. When I tried to call no one would answer the freaking phone and when they did they were beyond rude and they showed it very well. My suggestion is DON'T waste your time coming here or to any CVS really they are rude and incompetent. I only used them because my insurance company wouldn't allow me to use anyone else.
