I had a great experience shopping at Publix. From the moment I walked in, the store felt clean, organized, and well taken care of. The aisles were easy to navigate, and everything I needed was easy to find. The selection of products was excellent, especially the fresh produce, bakery items, and grocery options. The employees were friendly and helpful, and they made the shopping experience feel welcoming. Checkout was quick and smooth, which is always a plus. Publix does a great job creating a clean and enjoyable shopping environment. We were on our way home from vacation when we saw a Publix. We thought let's get some subs and a few groceries to not have to go out the next day. We saw it was a newer Publix (deli and bakery separated). Deli was clean and the sub staff were excellent and very friendly. Unfortunately could not say the same for the bakery staff. My daughter asked for a cookie (Publix staple of service) and the staff said we were out. In all my years of going into a Publix, this was the first time I heard of this. My daughter was disappointed to say the least. I asked as we were walking away, you do not have any cookies for the kids. They said no (with their non verbals smirking) and we're laughing that it was funny that they didn't have cookies for the kids. A customer passed by and said, "wow, I've never heard in all my years Publix not having cookies for the kids". Will this be my last time visiting a Publix, no. But, hope to see improvements with customer service and attention to detail in the bakery department. read more

We had just moved here and I was feeling homesick and missing my family. He stopped me and told me a funny joke. When I smiled he said now that's more like it. He made me feel better. Worst Publix I have ever been to. They do not come and assist you if your in self check out. You just stand their watching the lady talk and talk to people but not doing her job Ironically, management was sitting on their butts failing to assist. Waste of time. read more

Love Publix grocery stores because of the variety and because I can usually find or order in some of the things that you can't find at most other grocery stores. One example is the San Pelligrino Sparkling fruit drinks. I couldn't find them anywhere, but went to Publix (actually) all of them in my city and bought them out...lol read more

Worst Publix I've been to so far. Shania at CS had a real attitude when I was asking about Lottery. Not sure what her problem is but she's not Customer Service! Only friendly employee was Judy at self checkout. Also, don't care for the new policy of no cash at self checkout. Don't care to wait in cashier line with customers who have 50 items and I have just a few and prefer to pay cash NOT card. Just bad policy. read more

This is not my regular grocery stop for a few reasons: (1) it's not really convenient in location to where I need to ever take a full load of groceries; (2) Publix is a bit pricier than most of its competition; and (3) they don't have an easy way to give back to charity in an immediate fashion ala the Kroger Community Rewards program. However...this place is very nice. I've stopped in for an item or two when on this side of town and I'm always blown away by the cleanliness of the store, friendliness of the staff, and selection of items. The meat and seafood are top notch, produce is great, and the deli counter has good fresh hot and cold lunches. Decent wine and beer choices as well. Heck, I've had to use the US Bank inside before and it's good too. I was disappointed on a recent visit when I wanted to pick up a take and bake deli style pizza and after looking around for it in the obvious places for 10 minutes ore so I asked a deli counter employee who told me that those were only available at the Hendersonville location (that seemed a bit odd for a rather common item). But anyway, pretty solid place. read more

We were Publix patrons long ago when we lived in Florida and were happy to see it when Publix came to Gallatin several years back. We have been "regulars" there ever since. The prices are higher than SuperWalmart, but the quality is too. They regularly run 2 for 1's and other sales that make them economical if you take advantage of those. We also are hooked on their bakery products. Their Italian 5-grain bread is a staple in our house. My wife buys it because she says it keeps her cholesterol down (from the flax seeds and oatmeal), but I buy it for the taste and texture. We also use their pharmacy exclusively; the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and takes time to discuss Rx if needed. All in all, shopping there is always pleasant and definitely worth it. read more

Our favorite place to shop for all our grocery needs . The staff are always amazing ! They always talk and make our three year old daughter , Ireland smile . It is simply the best Publix we have been to and continue to support ! The only thing I'd wish for ? Is that people to treat the staff better . They all seem to work very hard and always make sure they make you smile . I saw one lady who wasn't clearly crippled or in need of that service . She made this young man take her cart out to her car in the freezing weather . She was very rude to him and it appalled me . She just hopped into her front seat and spoke to him like a maid . I would like to see more individuals thanking them for doing that service and to be generous instead of acting like the staff are to be used for this service in laziness and to take advantage . I can understand the elderly needing help & people who truly have their hands full . There is no excuse to treat them like dirt though . Overall this place is simply amazing ! read more

Staff is always friendly, accommodating, and smiling. Always a nice place to shop. Samples in the deli are always offered. The seafood department NEVER smells like bad seafood. I love Publix, but this location is y far my favorite. My husband and I come here from Hendersonville because we both like it so much. All of the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Everything is always fully stocked. Prices are a little high if you buy regular price, but if you shop the sales there is a ton of money to be saved. read more

i am new to Tennessee and Gallatin. My son recommended Publix. It is great for handicapped or elderly. Prices are slightly higher but if you shop the specials it helps. I love the way they give you half price when you just want one of "buy one get one" or any of their specials. Living alone with little storage space,this helps. They are always ready to help you find items to avoid walking a lot. If I remember something when I get to the checkout, they will send someone to get it. Having enough check out clerks keeps this from creating long lines. Everyone is friendly and they willingly carry your groceries to the car or wait with you for your "uber" to drive up and then they load the groceries, saving your driver from getting out to do it. Little things, but important, when you have difficulty walking and lifting. The store is always clean and the produce fresh. Another thing that is important for the elderly, I always feel safe because everyone is watching the store aisles etc. As a customer, I feel important to the employees. read more
