Worst customer service experience in a long time. The brunette, middle aged clerk seems to have a cruel streak and delights in insulting customers while smiling. I cannot believe that a major corporation and local management would put up with this kind of representative, especially with camera play back. Went in here a month ago and will never come back. I walked to the pharmacy area where Covid tests normally are and there were none. On a hunch, I went and stood in line at the front of the store and waited my turn. As I did, I watched guest after guest being treated rudely by the clerk. She was condescending, even mocking, to most of the customers in line. Instead of being helpful, she was actually putting them down. Wow. What manager would tolerate this? Apparently, this woman's supervisor. When it was my turn, I asked her if she had any Covid tests. She smirked and said "yes", pointing behind her, as if I was an idiot. "Great, I'll take 3." While she was checking me out, I said, "you might want to put a sign in the pharmacy where the tests are so people know to come and ask for them." Well, she didn't like the suggestion at all. Her excuse? "We just got them in today." I thought to myself: How hard is it to put a sign up? But rather than take the suggestion and thank me, she just gave me attitude and excuses. The pharmacy rep said it would take 10-15 minutes to fill the drop off prescription. After 30 minutes I went up and asked if it would be in the next 10 minutes or so. The next rep laughed and said they are way too busy. I waited another 20 and by this point my daughter was passed out. I could have dropped her off so she could be comfortable at home instead of forcing her to wait an hour in the pharmacy sleeping in a chair. I won't be back! read more

This store is horrible. It's about the worst of a mediocre chain of drug stores. I had to move my prescriptions about a year ago due to so many problems. Now I drive 20 minutes one way instead of 5 minutes because I better and more efficient service. Today I thought I could give this store a change for a simple battery purchase. Both pegs of this battery were sold out. Really? A run on garage door remote batteries. This place sucks. I may return to CVS but not this one unless I here they made some major changes. Not surprised to see this pharmacy only has 2 stars. I actually had an interesting experience here. The lady staff members are actually super nice, but the guys working here are just rude. My mother came to this pharmacy alone to pick up my meds and this guy staff member kept telling her that our insurance is not blue shield, ( and my med is 600dollars) which they got wrong last time as well. My mothers English is not very well, and had a hard time explaining that our insurance has always stayed the same. (She showed the card to him but he kept telling her it's expired, which it obviously didn't not) So she got me on the phone with him. He didn't even give a shit about what we had to say, and kept repeating " you guys don't have blue shield". Mom felt helpless and embarrassed so she came home. That day was burning hot. I made a long ass phone call to blue shield and they told me my family is always active under blue shield care. Then guess what? I called this clueless again and he just asked for our info from the card and put in his damn computer and found out that we are active. Excuse me????? WHY DIDNT YOU DO IT WHEN MY MOM SHOWED YOU THE INSURANCE CARD TO YOUR FACE????? Why did you make my mother drive back home and make me make that 30min phone call to blue shield???? I wonder if they treat customers differently based on you know what. Honestly. Maybe it's time to switch pharmacy. This pharmacy lacks customer service skills they are very , very rude. They don't have any common courtesy with their customers, they could have let me know my precription fill was going to take over an hour , sat in my car for 40 minutes finally drove back to drive thru and was completely ignored. I left figuring I would come all the way back next day to pick up. They never even bothered sending me the text they said they would send when ready. Horrible horrible horrible pharmacy!!! The pharmacy tech lies to your face so that she doesn't have to get off her lazy butt and actually submit a claim. She charged me almost $300 instead of $0 because she didn't want to have process a coupon! And their electronic prescription system never works right. I always have to go back to get refills through my doctor every single month for everyone of my prescriptions and my kids prescriptions it's so annoying they need to get their system right. I have a prescription that requires two bottles of medication. Every time my doctor refills prescription, they only give me one bottle. If they would only take the time to read the dosage on the box they would realize they had not given me the correct quantity. I dont know if the problem is with the pharmacy manager or the store manager, but having to make three trips for one prescription is ridiculous. read more

The staff at this location has always been courteous and helpful. The stock, like most CVS stores, is limited but the manager has always been quick to let me know when they will be restocked which is helpful. I've never seen much in the way of coupons at this location but I am inclined to go out of my way to shop here. It usually isn't very busy and has excellent parking. read more

As bad as my experience was at this CVS, it is actually comical to me. First, the store is clean and organized. Parking is easy. I went to the back of the store to the pharmacy.. Although it was during the lunch hour, I noticed that when I was walking up that there was no line...not a soul BUT there were lots of folks working in the pharmacy. I'm all smiles because this means I'll be in and out in a matter of minutes. I counted four pharmacy people, all at the counter as if they were ready to receivved customers. To my surprise when I approach, no one of them makes eye contact. I stand in silence listening to keyboard clicks and papers rattling and realize this is a competition between the workers to see who is going to give in and have to help the customer. Still no one makes eye contact. I clean my throat and the lady directly in front of me finally looks up and says, "I'll be right with you". She was friendly as she asked the normal pharmacy questions. I told her that I wanted to go grab lunch and then come back to pick up the prescription. Upon pick up, we played the same game. No one dared to make eye contact, but this time, three other people formed a line behind me. This time a young black haired guy helped me. I don't think he was thrilled to do so. Must be horrible to work there. As he helped me, a young asian girl worked at the drive through. She seemed nice to the drive through customer. I wish I would have done the drive through. I prefer not to play the game and won't be coming back to this pharmacy. read more

Don't get me wrong, i love love CVS! I shop my basic toiletries and personal care needs here and im always looking forward to collecting and using my coupons. This location i especially used to love because it's so close to our house in Foothill. But a series of bad experiences with one staff member made me think twice about coming here anymore. That NOEMI girl. She is rude & incompetent. Twice in a row she was the cashier when we went there and both times she messed up our transactions. The first time she didnt acknowledge our coupons and just flatly told us it isnt good til tomorrow. The other lady beside her felt sorry for us so she nicely explained and gave us 1$ coupon. But that noemi girl was just plain rude & unapologetic. The second time the moment we walked in we asked if some items were on sale and she said "no, i dont know, it's up to our manager" and went on flirting with a male customer ! We bought some candies and again she messed up our transaction , charging us twice and when we complained she wasnt even apologetic and responded rudely. My gosh, whatever happened to customer service! She was all nice and attentive to this guy customer and when it was us she was just flat out "not nice" to say the least. We ended up putting back whatever we bought and just cancelled our transaction. read more

It is the worst pharmacy I've tried. Too poor technician and too slow. They are not helpful. When I gave them a prescription for my son who had a flue last nigh they told me to come next day on the afternoon for pick up , when I came they said they don't have the Tamiflue. And it is not at other CVS. And they refused to give me back my prescription because it was an electronic one. When I called the Dr to help me find that medicine, he told me that CVS in Rockfield has it and I picked it from there. read more

I have to agree with the above (negative) reviews. I've had extreme back/hip pain for the past 2 wks due to an athletic injury that isn't healing, plus to make matters worse I've had food poisoning or stomach flu and have been throwing up for the past 24 hrs! I felt like death-warmed-over! All that going on and I dragged myself to my doctor this afternoon, and then kept going to closest pharmacy to get it all done before going home and back to bed. I drove up to CVS' drive-through window so I wouldn't have to get in and out of car. The person at the window said she was going to have to call my doctor because she didn't know what amount of vicodin to give me, and I said that was fine and asked how long it would take. She said AN HOUR! I asked if I should park and come inside and make the call to my doctor myself. She said she had to call my doctor and it would be an hour. As weak, shaky, and in pain as I was, I told her I couldn't go home and in an hour get back in car to go through this again. She couldn't have cared less. I asked for my prescription back and drove directly to Irvine Medical Center Pharmacy (where I have gone for years for myself and my children) and Bill, the Pharmacist at Irvine Med Ctr pharmacy, had me in and out with my filled prescription in 2 minutes! Never again will I try to save a few minutes' drive and go to CVS Pharmacy in Foothill Ranch. Shame on them! read more

I use to frequent this CVS (convinient location) but after my last visit, would avoid this as much as possible. Like I said, I shop here frequently. On one of my shopping trips, I used a gift card someone gave me. The remaining balance of my total was paid for by cash--the gift card amount wasn't enough to cover the whole total. When I had to return everything fr that shopping trip, the asst. manager then told me that my refund would be entirely on store credit because I used a gift card---she completely disregard that I also paid for it in cash. She said that because the gift card was used in conjuction, the refund would be in that matter. It wasn't until I contacted their corporate office and the situation was rectified (I got my money back and gift card). That employee was misinformed, I'm told. Although they corrected the situation, the hassle/trouble they put me through was enough for me to avoid them. If I need to go to a CVS, I'll go to my local neighborhood one. read more

This place is a nightmare. I started going here b/c I have young kids and they have a drive-through, but the last time I went through the drive-through I had to wait half an hour (normally, I would have given up and gone in but it was pouring down rain and my infant was sick and since there were only two cars ahead of me I kept thinking we were going to get to the window at any moment). They are always way too busy (and I can't tell if it's because they don't have enough employees or if it's because their employees just don't really care -- perhaps a combination of the two). On more than one occasion I've dropped off a prescription only to come back well after the time they told me it would be ready only to find that it's not ready. I've also waited in the store to get a prescription filled, only to be called up later (like 15 minutes later) and have the pharmacist tell me that she didn't even know what my doctor was talking about (the medication was in a form that isn't as commonly used, but still, it comes from the manufacturer in that form prescribed so I don't understand why a knowledgable pharmacist couldn't figure out what was prescribed). And don't even bother going near the place when they're pushing flu shots -- they try to get everyone who comes in to get one, but they can't even manage to keep up with prescriptions so when you add in the pharmacist having to stop working on prescriptions to give flu shots it's a nightmarish experience. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that we took our business elsewhere b/c it's still easier to unload my kids and bring them inside to the Target pharmacy than deal with going to this CVS. read more
