Stopped by this CVS Pharmacy to pick up some vitamins I needed, and I was impressed with the deals! They had a promotion--buy one, get one 50% off--and I was also able to use my $4 digital coupon. I ended up getting a great deal on Fish Oil (Wild Alaskan, 360 capsules, half size). The store was clean and organized, making it easy to find what I needed. The employees were nice and smiling, which made the experience even better. I used the self-checkout, which was quick and convenient. Overall, a smooth shopping trip with excellent service and great savings!

~Disappointing Response from CVS Manager to Their Solicited Survey - May 2, 2025 Dear Amanda, Thank you for your reply. To clarify, the 10-20 minute timeframe is not the central issue of my feedback. My concern lies specifically with the level of customer service I received. Could you please specify which line you are referring to? As I mentioned in my previous email, I was able to speak to a gentleman. My complaint is that instead of your associate walking me to the item I was looking for, which was less than 60 seconds away, they simply pointed. Furthermore, your employee did not inform me about a separate line for customers waiting in the photo department. As you rightly pointed out, I cannot read minds. If you did indeed review the CCTV footage, you would have seen your "trained associate" pointing instead of escorting me to the correct area, despite appearing to be free at the time. As an Area Manager in retail myself, I find your email and its implication that I am being dishonest to be inappropriate and not reflective of a General Manager's attitude towards customer feedback. Adding to my previous point, if my experience was as you described, why was an email survey sent to me soliciting feedback on my visit? I look forward to your clarification on the "line" you mentioned and a more direct response to the core issues I raised regarding the customer service I experienced. I have reviewed cctv footage and had discussions with associates present 5/1/25. I see that you were only in our store for 10 mins from the moment of entrance to the time of purchase. Yes, both my associates were assisting customers at the registers and photo department. If you seeked more acknowledgment looking for the item, might have you waited in line with the other guests to receive the proper customer service you would have wanted. Sincerely, Amanda, STORE MANAGER Review for CVS - Duarte Location May 1 , 2025 I went out of my way to visit the Duarte CVS, since my local store was out of stock on Neuro Mints. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. There were only two associates working, both stationed behind the register, even though there wasn't a line. When I asked the male associate if he could help me locate the Neuro Mints and explained they were sold out at other nearby stores, he just pointed vaguely toward an aisle and said, "It's over there, and if you don't see it, it's probably sold out." That was the extent of his assistance. No effort to walk me to the section, check inventory, or offer any real customer service. It ended up taking me 20 minutes to locate the product myself. Had he taken just a minute to assist me properly, I would be writing a very different review--likely 10/10. Instead, I was met with a lack of care and a poor attitude. Both employees looked overwhelmed and disengaged, even though there were only two customers in the store at the time. It's sad to witness the decline in service standards, especially when proper training and a little effort could make such a difference. I'm not happy to write this review, but I'm doing so in the spirit of transparency and hoping it helps improve future customer experiences.

This review for the photos section. I always order Christmas cards here. But this year they did a bad job on cutting the cards. Made it look like the kids did the work, so not straight . Through it all

My receipt hopefully leads to the female who helped me today. She was amazing!! All Employees should be like her.

I used the drive through to receive my medication yesterday and everything went fine until the…read moreDoctor came to the window to tell me how the medication was to be taken. She was speaking very fast and when I tried to ask her to slow down she continued to talk over me and even faster. It was like trying to communicate with a 16 year old girl. This has never happened to me at a pharmacy ever. It was as if she was only telling me the instructions because she had to. After she finished she told me everything she said was on the bottle. She also never iterated that I should spread out the two pills I'd be taking daily. I proceeded to read the instructions but still managed to take the medication wrong. I believe it was because of this incident. This was unprofessional as we are talking about medication here. I then called to ask if how I took the medication was ok and I know I the call was answered by the same woman doctor. She had no answer for me and again was rushing the conversation. Rather that she needed to call my doctor? This has never happened to me before. I believe a Pharmacist doctor should know the answer to these kinds of simple questions. She told me she would need to call my doctor and call me back. She did call back with decent news which was great. My only advise here is no matter how busy somewhere gets that the pharmacists take their job more seriously and take time in explaining how medication should be consumed properly. Also, it is unhealthy for her to be moving or talking that fast. No one should have to receive their medication this way!

There was no line, so the store associate took his photo and uploaded it to their system. After, we inquired about the free digital copy (which was advertised on the Walgreens website as well as on the signage in store), the associate said they had never heard about it. He eventually reached out to a coworker who confirmed that the free digital copy was in fact a valid offer. Once my friend paid for his photos, he checked his email as the photos are supposed to be emailed upon purchase. Unfortunately they were never delivered, so we asked the store associate if there is anything he could do. He did little to look for alternatives and simply stated that it was not possible to get into the system to resend. The printed photos weren't the best quality (the background appeared a bit gray) so even when uploaded to the passport site, the photo was disapproved. If you are looking to get new passport photos, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere.
