OVERPRICED in every way. But if you want to overpay for EVERYTHING, go ahead. But, it doesn't…read moreappear to be the "safest" if you're by yourself. If you live IN DeKalb, go to Casey's on 38 and Peace Road. (I go by gas prices and Customer Service.) Fas Mart doesn't cut it. There's always something broken, it looks dirty, the CS is whenever they feel like it, the PRICES are the highest, and I would NEVER stop here if it were dark outside. Seriously, just go to Casey's, you'll be "safer" there.

I have never been so disgusted during an interaction with an employee in my life. At about 1:30am I…read morestopped here to get some medicine. I tried opening the door, although there was resistance I assumed it might have been frozen since there's frost everywhere else so I pull a little harder. With hardly any effort the door opens. As I enter, the employee shouts "lemme ask you a question. do you think that was the smartest idea?" Very confused, I turn around a find a PHONE CHARGER was tied to the other door to prevent it from opening. Mean while he's shouting walking around irritated saying "what the fuck man" and I'm just like is this even real..? I left without making a purchase as I was not about to interact with him again. I would have felt unsafe if the police officer I opened the door for wasn't standing right next to me, also confused. I have a few "smart" ideas for you... 1) they crafted this devices many years ago.. called a LOCK. Smartest idea I could think of would be to lock the door to prevent someone from entering it. 2) how about a SIGN? That maybe would say "hey, please don't go through this door." 3) having some sense of customer service and just letting it slide would also be recommended. But no... Just an angry unintelligent employee shouting. As someone in a customer service related field, any employee that approached a customer in that manner would no longer be a representative of my business.

The friendliest employees I've ever come across. I'm in the store every day for one reason or…read moreanother and whoever happens to be working the register always says "hello" and they always have a smile ready for us bleary-eyed, early morning caffeine addicts. This location's open 24 hours too, which is a plus for the neighborhood insomniacs. No alcohol - but really that's the only drawback and anyway, Inboden's next door has a nice beer selection - just go there to get your booze. I'm a big fan of the punch card they offer for coffee and other hot drinks - the good old buy 8, get 1 free type of deal. I've heard rumors to the effect that if you ask really nicely, some of the girls might be willing to "accidentally" punch your card 2 or 3 times per visit ;-) - I mean sometimes it's the little things in life that you gotta be thankful for, you know? Typical high gas station prices on most items, but they always have some sort of bargain bin thing out front with deeply discounted merchandise that needs to be sold - you know what I mean, like halloween candy in November or x-mas junk in January. They also seem to sell a pretty good amount of winning scratch off lottery tickets here too if that happens to be your thing. I've seen multiple $1,000 winners posted on the glass there, so someone's getting lucky. But what it all comes down to is that this is just a gas station, one of dozens in DeKalb. The difference here is the employees and their overall great attitude and demeanor, and that's what makes this particular gas station a 5 star venue, rather than a run-of-the-mill 7-11 or someplace else with clerks who could not possibly care less about their job or their customers.

I can't imagine how the employees feel and its bs that they're not allowed to used fans to cool off or at least open the door. I gotta say it's so hot in that store that the chocolate bars on the shelf is already melting. yeah that bad. You think they would learn from the last employee passing out on the clock because of the heat but this goes show they don't give a shit
