I ask to speak to a supervisor and was claim non was around and was told that she was going to call 611 to explain with out the manager or supervisor seeing my I'd to verify if it was broken or not and she started loud talking me then said she feel threatened and I have to leave and I feel she was being racist. Please if any managers or supervisors are at that location needs to over see their employees how they conduct services cause I will not tolerate racism or false claims of feeling threatened.

Then tells me I can check with a nearby location to see if it's in stock. - I have the rep make the call to make sure before heading over. She tells me they have the dosage, but that I'd need to get a new prescription because of the type of medication. Why lie over the phone? If you know you don't have something, just be honest. It's frustrating in the moment, but it's not a big deal- just say you don't have it and don't waste everyone's time. Really disappointed with the pharmacy and their staff at this location for how they handled this. Highly recommend making the drive to sycamore or going to the CVS attached to target for prescriptions.

Part of that problem is because the doctor takes forever to respond for renewal. Also, the online ordering is great for saving money, but I've had two orders out of three messed up at this store and it's a hastle to get the bill sorted out. There is no pick up area outside unless you can get it through the drive through window. The drive-through closes twice a day for pharmacy lunch, so it's on us to see if it's open at certain times. If you are in line when they close for lunch they just disappear. The Sycamore location does the same. If you or them are delayed in filling or picking up a prescription they will 'send it back' and you have to order it all over again. I like the store, but their system is not good.

I'm a big fan of the punch card they offer for coffee and other hot drinks - the good old buy 8, get 1 free type of deal. I've heard rumors to the effect that if you ask really nicely, some of the girls might be willing to "accidentally" punch your card 2 or 3 times per visit ;-) - I mean sometimes it's the little things in life that you gotta be thankful for, you know? Typical high gas station prices on most items, but they always have some sort of bargain bin thing out front with deeply discounted merchandise that needs to be sold - you know what I mean, like halloween candy in November or x-mas junk in January. They also seem to sell a pretty good amount of winning scratch off lottery tickets here too if that happens to be your thing. I've seen multiple $1,000 winners posted on the glass there, so someone's getting lucky. But what it all comes down to is that this is just a gas station, one of dozens in DeKalb. The difference here is the employees and their overall great attitude and demeanor, and that's what makes this particular gas station a 5 star venue, rather than a run-of-the-mill 7-11 or someplace else with clerks who could not possibly care less about their job or their customers.

I've had ongoing issues with the Sycamore Meijer pharmacy, specifically with communication. For…read moremonths, I've had to repeatedly follow up just to get updates on my son's medication. I submit refill requests on time, but often receive automated texts stating a pickup date, only to later be told that date is inaccurate. (It's frustrating to be pushed to use the app by pharmacy staff, only to be told later that it's inaccurate or shouldn't be relied on for prescriptions. If it's not dependable, why require patients to use it?!?) This is extremely frustrating, especially since these are essential medications my son needs, not luxury items. For example, I submitted a refill request on April 16th and received a text saying it would be ready on the 18th (since they were currently out of stock). When I called on the 18th, I was told they didn't know when it would be back in stock. I called again on the 21st, after my son took his last dose, and was told it wouldn't be available until JUNE!!! That's a huge gap, and NO ONE bothered to communicated that to me!! This constant lack of communication has forced me SEVERAL time to have to travel to Elgin, just to fill prescriptions (which wastes so much gas). It's incredibly inconvenient and stressful when you're trying to manage necessary medication for your child!! I understand that stock issues can happen, but the inconsistency, lack of transparency, and need to constantly chase down information is unacceptable. I hope this location improves its communication and processes so other families don't have to go through the same experience. They act like its ordering bread not medications!! Maybe take notes from the Elgin pharmacy.
