You WILL wait an hour in the drive-through and you'll most likely not even get the full amount of your medications. Whoever is filling these scripts can't do basic math, or someone isn't ordering stock properly. Neither is excusable. They tell you to call ahead if you need the actual amount you were prescribed, too, but even if you do that, they still won't have it the next day. Every single month I have to spend an hour sitting in this dump waiting for them to fix the same mistake so I don't have to come back here every 12 days to get extremely small partial refills of NON-CONTROLLED substances. Most people only get one or two days off a week. You cannot expect them to waste a massive portion of their extremely limited time off waiting for you to correct your mistakes like this. read more

I got my covid vaccine here. I booked my appointment around 1:00 am online about a month ago. In and out quick. Very friendly staff who administered my shots. I drove a bit from my home but so worth it. read more

What a great group of people! Prior to visiting the store, I spoke to Debbie the Manager, what an outstanding lady. I got to the store, met Debbie and then interacted with the Pharmacy staff, they couldn't have been and more helpful or professional, my wife and I both received a vaccine, loved dealing with them. I have to give a shout out to Jeff, the NP, at the clinic tonight. He was SO kind to my 10 year old daughter. We had to go in because her ear was sore. Not only was he so gentle with her, but explained everything in a detailed way that she could understand. She ended up having a mild ear infection, and that requires antibiotic drops. It never fails...every time I come through the drive-thru to get medicine, it turns into a marathon parking session. Whether it's insufficient staff or people being allowed to literally wait in the drive-thru for a prescription to be filled, something needs to change. I've not been to another Walgreen's that gives the term "forever" a run for its money. read more

I stop in at this Walgreens fairly often. It's in a very convenient location and open 24hours. I'm lucky enough to have Jewel accords the street which is pretty much walking distance, but they are only open till midnight. So it's convenience when you need something on the fly and you're a night owl like me. The staff here is always really polite and on top of their game when it gets busy. Every single time I have been in line waiting to check out and it's busy they call over the intercom for help on the second register and also in cosmetics. Then after a few minutes everyone is out the door. True customer service. Oh and they have a photo department still. Something that is becoming more and more rare. read more

Stopped in to take new passport photos. While typically an unmemorable experience, an associate named Lori was working the photo counter and truly made the task enjoyable! Lori took a genuine interest in my adventures and even included a passport application with my photos. Lori is an incredible asset to the store! read more

My daughter went to the walk-in clinic at 1340 DEKALB AVE SYCAMORE, IL 60178 on 4/22/15 at 7:15 pm to have her eye looked at (suspected pink eye). She is an 18 year old college student and I advised her to go there because I thought they could help her quickly. When she arrived the NP was very rude, would not see and turned her away because she said "we don't take that kind of insurance". We have BCBS which is what my daughter presented to her. My daughter was prepared to pay with a credit card, but the NP was really rude and treated her very poorly. My daughter told her that she suspected pink eye but went on to say that during the day today it was feeling better. The response from the health care provider??? "Good, because we don't take that insurance". I think she didn't want to treat my daughter because it was near closing time. I will never go there again and I will tell everyone I know about this experience. I think it's unacceptable for a health care provider to be so rude and turn away someone who needs help and most importantly (to them) has the means to pay. Absolutely awful! read more
