CVS your typical drug store right? Wrong. So we went in needing a few items, one being razors. Have you ever tried to buy razors from this CVS store? Try it one day it's interesting because they have the freaking razors locked up. There's no way for you to get one unless you find someone who works there to help you. Now finding someone on the floor that works there is a task itself. I still don't get why a $9.99 ladies razor was locked up but I noticed that a tube of Abreva for $16.99 was hanging there for anyone to take and stick in their pocket if they wanted too. This was one ghetto un-fabulous CVS, I wonder were they afraid we'd all break out the razors and start cutting each other? Who knows, after much wasted time we finally got what we needed left. I have meaning to give my comments and review on this store location. First of all the Managers have no sense of professionalism at the least manners and respect. They treat people/customers like they have problems no sense of managerial skills set at all if they even know what defines. The clerks bless their hearts it's not their fault they were given opportunity to work with the public without having any knowledge of what customer service entails. Mya the so called managers must have hired these folks because she should be the one to set the example and model what good customer should look like and she DOES NOT. So this is my regular CVS, my neighborhood pharmacy store. It is open 24 hours in case of emergencies. Truth be told, I try not to shop here as much as I use to. Long lines, cluttered aisles or lack of customer service have kept me away. But in a pinch, glad to have one less than 2 miles from my house. read more

It's ok... sometimes it can seem disorganized and you're always wondering who that scraggly person is in that other isle... the cold area can be lacking in product sometimes... it's a short walk away or I'd go somewhere else. They do have rhino refills too. read more

The store itself is ok; however the Pharmacy is probably THE worse I've ever had to deal with in my life. The pharmacy techs are all inept and I have no idea how most of them got that job. The drive through is the pharmacy worse. I even had to complain to the corporate office over the way they handle prescriptions and their customers. The latest issue was me going through the drive through to pick my allergy medicine. The same inept tech that I had to complain to corporate about asked for all of my information, medication info and then said it was $40. I put my credit card in the tray for her to process it. THEN she stands off to the side talking to a co-worker about 5 minutes and then hands my credit card off to someone else. He then proceeds to say "how can I help you?" I was like um she was already helping me. "I'm sorry, but can I get your date of birth?" I had to repeat everything again to him because the inept tech wanted to go on break. I asked him why she took off in the middle of the transaction. His argument was "The transaction hadn't started yet". I said "Um, the moment she asked for my credit card, the transaction started'. I'm moving my prescriptions to another CVS and do not care if I have to drive further. It's been nothing but headaches with this store. There is a keypad lock on the bathroom...must purchase to get the code! On the upside, the pharmacy delivers to local assisted living and nursing home facilities. Back on the down-side, the Senior Citizen who runs the register mean-mugs anyone under the age of 50! I don't think CVS is a bargain and with all the seniors in the area, I feel they are taking advantage! They make you fill 9 prescriptions before you get any kind of rewards or discounts. Walgreens and Target are only 5. I guess it's their way of getting repeat business but I would drive a few blocks more to Walgreens to get the discount faster! Everytime I get a prescription filled there I leave pissed off at the pharmacist. The staff is great, hustling! I drop $1,000 a month on one prescription and I'm treated like I'm using Medicaid! Takes everything I have not to jump over that counter and smack that angery mug he always wears! I'm going to try my best not to ever use CVS again! Feel bad for the sweet young lady at the counter for having to deal with me after he works his magic. CVS do yourself a favor and replace that pharmacist! Promise you he's costing you $! read more

This CVS Pharmacy Is absolutely horrible. I called to ask if they had a particular medicine in stock and they absolutely refused to tell me. I have never dealt with a CVS acted in this manner. The girl who answered the phone could barely even understand a word I was saying. If this pharmacy is not going to tell you what medications they have in stock then they should not be in business. The Worst Service Ever. I swear I won't go back to that place again in my life. I was in pain, but they said I had to come back for the pain medicine in 6 hour. I ordered photos here and arrived to pick them up a half hour later than they were supposed to be ready. I'm told by the young girl at the front counter that something was wrong with the machine and it wasn't working so my photos weren't ready and I could go to another CVS. When my order was put in and sent to the store they could've called me and let me know this. That's what I would've done if I worked there. I told her she could have called me and she says the order never got to the store which is BS because I got a confirmation email. Don't trust the prescriptions made here one of the pharmacist doesn't know how to do the math to fill prescriptions my daughter needed an antibiotic for her ear infection and the pharmacist couldn't do the math to fill the prescription so she sent it back. I've been a long time cvs supporter but this store has sucked the support right out of me. the aisles were a mess, the bathroom was totally disgusting and the employees were lack luster at most. the cashier was drinking her energy drink at the register while serving a customer. back when I worked retail we were not allowed to conduct any personal business (phone, food, drink) while in front of the customer. no wonder why online sales are doing as well as they are. read more

Pharmacy is horrible!!! Don't ever get your meds here. Staff is unprofessional. Take forever to attend to you. I just had a major surgery so I had my husband take my prescription for pain pills there. They told him it would be ready in an hour. He went back a few hours later only to be told the meds would not be available until the following morning due to it being "too early" to pick them up since my previous refill was supposedly a 5 day supply, which it wasn't really. I called the next morning to verify the meds would be able to be picked up and was told I would still need to wait another 24 hours, and was told I was misinformed by staff once again. My Dr was able to authorize an early pick up, and AGAIN when my husband showed up hours later, he was told they STILL weren't ready with MORE misinformation. I've been without my pain medication all day due to tons of MISINFORMATION by the pharmacy staff. Just avoid a headache, and possibly lots of pain and don't take your prescriptions here. read more

Can I rate it worth ZERO stars?!?! Pharmacy sent me on a wild goose chase for a prescription they said was in stock. I called in advance to ask if a particular prescription medicine was IN STOCK. They said it was IN STOCK and to pick it up after 7 PM. I show up after 7 PM and they looked at me confused and said it was NOT IN STOCK. I was then referred to check for it at another CVS location. It so happens the other CVS location off Illinois had it in stock so I drove over there. This store now needed the defunct Jefferson location to fax them over my Rx in order to fill it. I didn't trust they would do so, so I drove back to the Jefferson location to tell them in person I needed them to fax over my Rx (In a threatening way, since nice wasn't cutting it). The pharmacist on staff at the Jefferson CVS called the Illinois store to give a verbal order and let me know she did so. I in return called the Illinois store to make sure she really had called. It was confirmed she had called in the verbal order, but that this Jefferson CVS was to fill the Rx (NOT the Illinois CVS). I then told the Jefferson pharmacist that I was told she was to fill it. She said no,looking confused, that it was not in stock. She then apologized and now wanted to hear my stories of what has happened from me calling to see if it was in stock to my back and forth trips. She then said she was going to find out what happened, went behind the medicine counter and returned with a box. She said she was embarrassed, and that the original Rx I was looking for had been there the entire time and that it was just put in the wrong place. This took 2 and 1/2 hours to fill my Rx. Never! "This review is in reference to CVS. Store 6781 at 2323 w. Illinois Ave Dallas, Tx . Absolutely horrible service. I called in to get my insulin prescription refill & was told it would be about a 60 minute, when I got there was not ready and that they was out of insulin and didn't know when they get it in. HOW DO YOU RUN OUT OF MAJOR MEDICATION LIKE INSULIN, that is a like saving medication. The service in the pharmacy department supersedes incompetence. Prescriptions dropped off in the morning or order over the phone one day and not filled the next evening. The latest occurrence is what has prompted me to write this review. I would be without medication for days, since they had already had the prescription in their possession for almost for over 3 weeks. These types of occurrences seem to be the norm in most of the reviews I have read regarding CVS stores. Look at your reviews CVS 1.36 stars out of 5 on average other stores similar ratings. Most of the staff here is horrible, but this was especially the case on my last visit her this evening. There was a line of about 7 people with one cashier. Another employee, Sammie, came out and loaded a cash register then was about to leave the counter without helping the poor employee dealing with the entire line (this cashier happened to have a customer whose credit card was not working so was causing a long delay). Don't know if she changed her mind or the other employee asked for help, but Sammie reluctantly went back to the register to help. But, boy was she not happy about it. She would just look at the people in line, not ask for the next customer. Did not greet a single person she helped. And, she looked like it was the biggest inconvenience for her to just do her job. What a pain all of us customers who were trying to spend money in the store must have been for her. I had avoided this CVS for many months for poor service. Looks like I will again be driving out of my way to avoid this mess of a store. read more
