This pharmacy is terrible. They constantly push flu shots, refill medications I didn't request, and make routine transactions far more difficult than necessary. If you have any controlled medications, do not come here. They refused to allow the use of a discount card and told me Lyrica was $500, claiming discount cards "aren't allowed," which is simply false. They repeatedly insisted my insurance "wouldn't cover" medications that should absolutely be covered. It felt like they only want to deal with basic prescriptions they can overbill insurance for. Customer service is awful. The pharmacists won't even acknowledge you--no "we'll be with you shortly," nothing. You're left standing there like you don't exist. The overall atmosphere is dismissive and unprofessional. I've never had these issues at Vons--night and day difference. Avoid this place if you value your time, money, or sanity. UPDATE: I returned with my insurance company on the phone and discovered that no prescription had ever been properly run through my insurance. Despite being told I was required to pay cash, the pharmacy was still billing my old insurance, even though I uploaded my new card on January 1st. I had asked multiple times whether my insurance was working and was repeatedly given a nod in response. This was eventually corrected, but the level of incompetence is unacceptable. I can't imagine I'm the only person being treated this way. read more

This is one of the worst pharmacy's I have ever been to. They can't even get basic routine orders correct. It's time to start looking into Amazon or Costco and put these monopolies like CVS out of business. The lack of competition makes them feel customer service is no longer needed. Pharmacist makes up own rules to disregard what a doctor has written on the prescription. Won't refill prescription until they verbally get confirmation instead. So wasting time until they can reach out and the doctor can give them a verbal confirmation instead. Ridiculous! So I am out of my meds until this can happen. Obviously doesn't care for how it impacts people to be off of their meds because of their made up rules which is not any law or regulations. read more

The pharmacy here sucks! I will say there are two very friendly and helpful ladies in that department. Always an issue with my prescriptions. Last week I dropped off a prescription. I received three texts to inform me they were working on it and wound be in contact. As of 9/12/22 no meds. I called for status a female employee told me they still don't have it. Then she said CVS can not get this medication. The employee could not explain why or when they'd get it in. Totally contradicting herself. Also no answer as to why they didn't contact me last week if they were unable to procure the medication. If course no response To my question. It's always something with these yahoos. As soon as I can find damn corporate number I'm calling to complain. read more

Went in to grab a few quick items for the road. Purchase a few good deals on some pistachios and another bag that was on sale for half off. Clearly labeled price was 4.99 on the exact item that I bought. After checking the math I realized the amount was off. And saw I was charged full price of 8.99 instead of 4.99. After the clerk helped and scanner was showing regular price. The manager Alex came and saw what was going on. Did absolutely nothing except remove the 4.99 price tag that was on the very item I purchased and instead of at least honoring the price since it was mislabeled. Offered no help. I ended up just asking for a refund since I only purchased because of the good deal. It's sad that management can clearly see it was no fault of the customers. And ever worse , they offer no resolution. Just a bewildered face. He informed me that the one I got was 8 oz. And the sale was for the 7 oz I asked where that was. And of course. He had no idea. It is HORRIBLE that CVS "MAKES YOU" use self check out! They no longer allow someone check you out at the register! In the last 6 months, Every Time (at least 6) I have attempted to use the kiosk it has NOT worked properly! The guy next to me checking out had to have help too! They are incomprehensible and unintelligible people..... my husband was queuing to get the covid vaccine and my 4-year-old girl had the urge to go to the toilet and no matter how much I begged them to allow her to use it, they told her NO WAY and they sent her to another restaurant to the opposite side of the mall and obviously the 4 year old girl had an accident wetting her clothes. The employees of this place are headless and incomprehensible heartless towards a 4 year old person with basic needs. I love the drive thru and the friendly staff. I come at least twice a month and they are always nice to me and my little terrier Zoey and always answers my questions when I need a answer. As a disabled person (legally rated 100% disabled) it is insult on top of injury to have to deal with a pharmacy that regularly messes up your prescriptions and treats you badly while trying to get things straightened out This specific pharmacy has a severe problem with treatment of patients that are disabled and take many medications. Several of the pharmacists do not respect the Americans disabilities act and constantly mess up my medications and/or insurance billing. Pharmacist Loshani directed the pharmacy tech to make me go stand to the side while they helped several other patients before me after I had waited my turn because I have "too many prescriptions" and they "run a very efficient business". And "helping you would take half an hour". After waiting patiently for some time I reminded her, as she knows already, that I am severely disabled and not able to be on my feet long at which point she directed me to take a seat while they helped everyone else first. I had waited my turn and I was in pain and needed to head home and I had only one question about one medication. After waiting some time while they helped three other patients I had to leave without getting helped, I didn't even need the pharmacist, just an assistant to look up something in the computer, since the app was not working. I asked the pharmacists name so I could let the regional manager know they were yet again violating the ADA, she told me to wait and she would give me her name after helping everyone else and to take a seat if I couldn't stand. As I needed to get home and elevate my foot I just wanted her name and asked 3 times, while she refused to identify herself, "Why do I have to wait just to get your name?" . My foot has had three emergency surgeries and has put me in the hospital 3 times in the last several months for 1-2 weeks at a time followed by 6 weeks of IV antibiotics at home each time. The regional manager has been very respectful and helpful in the past with bringing their behavior in line with the most basic standards of respect and getting them to pay more attention and stop messing up my medications and billing but they inevitably fall back into this pattern within a few months. Most egregiously not filling certain medications until the manager gets involved and being too lazy to follow up on insurance approvals. No one should have to call a regional manager to get their medications sorted out, let alone every few months. I am most upset about this for those who have less ability and energy to persistently pursue resolution until their needs are met. I fear many others are suffering worse under these behaviors and I want attention brought to this for them, no one should have to spend hours and hours a month trying to get their medications sorted out and treated badly for having disabilities and health issues. I am hoping perhaps CVS looks at these reviews and may do something to change this systemic culture of treating a legally protected class of people who are dependent on them often for their very life with the most basic level of respect and services required by federal law. read more

Dissatisfied yesterday. We just switchefrom Vons Pharmacy to CVS recently. I get about 5 RX's filled a month. CVS called while we were out of town left a message if there are any RX's that I would like to put on a 90 day cycle. When I called CVS back to have 2 of the RX's be put on the 90 day cycle I was told that I either had to do it closer to renewal or at the time of pickup and it would take a couple of minutes while I wait. Yesterday when I went to pick up the RX's I was told by April they could not put me on the 90 days because they had to check with the Dr. That is fine but they should have checked when I called. Which CVS employee was correct? How long do I have to wait before my 2 RX's will be added to the 90 day NOW it has been OVER a MONTH and CVS De Palma Rd has not been able to supply my refill for Allopurinol correctly. They said they are having trouble with their supplier. I checked with COSTCO yesterday they said they have had no problem filling a prescription for Allopurinol 300. VERY disappointing Should be 1 star. read more

Brian was rude as heck!! First time in this store and probably my last! He was very rude to the lady In front of me when she asked him to Wipe the credit card machine and then he forgot to wipe the pen so she asked what about the pen. So he got another disinfectant wipe to wipe the pen. You can clearly see he was getting irritated for something he should already be doing. Then it was our turn. He did not great us at all. The chip on the card went through however my daughter took the card out to early and it didn't go through. So she said do you want me to swipe it or?? His response was well you took it out too soon and so do you want to pay cash. As if she didn't have the money on the card. So instead she inserted it again and it went through. He has no sense of what customer service is, he was not nice at all, acted as if he was upset to be on the register! Clearly he can't work under pressure and it's just CVS, let's be real! Today I was in the store and received exceptional assistance from Natasha. She is pleasant and incredibly helpful. I was amazed at the time she took to assist me and my needs. Insanely patient!!! She knows her job, she cares for customers and her work ethic was superb. Remarkable young lady, who seems driven and very awe-inspiring. It's so refreshing to see such a young lady so dedicated to her position within CVS, most young individuals these days seem to not care, not the case for Natasha. She's going places. Rudest employees I hope someone that works there reads this! I went In today 11-19-16 and the Arabian worker was so sloppy and continued to inform me that he was still drunk from the night before while I was checking out. I would mention his name but he didn't have a name tag on! He said that his "bitchy" manager is mad because he was 5 hours late because he didn't know he had work this morning. That's not the best employee to have! I would do a heck of a better job working there actually I applied and you guys must have picked a decent bunch. The bathroom area smells like rotten eggs and looks like it hasn't been clean in WEEKS! Absolutely disgusting... I just moved in the area and I love CVS but now I want to drive the extra 10 miles to go to the next nearest cvs because this one is just unbelievable!! read more

I have been going there since they have been open, but the last couple of months I have had many problems. My prescription​ is month to month, so between the pharmacy​ calling the doctor and the doctor getting back to them​, I loose a couple of days or even a week. I didn't know that if you wait a couple of days to pick up your prescription​ that the pick up date is the date they go by, not the fill date. So because I waited to pick​ it the month before, they refused to fill it two days early (the same day it was filled the month before) as I was leaving town for two and a ​half week. They refused me to get it before leaving town. That is when I learned it was the pickup​ date they count not the date the scrip was filled. I asked could they take out 2 pills out or call my insurance to get aproval they said they would but did not call so I had to go the whole vacation without them. This month I called the pharmacy​ and my doctor electronically​ sent the percription over but they said they didn't get it. I called the doctor, again and again,​ they sent it over and again the​ pharmacy said they didn't get it so I asked my doctor to call and they finally​​ got it. This would be another week without​ my medication. But people are always​ nice and the store is convenient​ to where I live. They should be more customer​ minded. I have had other pharmacies manage to get the job done. There is no urgency except on the customer's​ side. read more

Why am I Yelping a chain Pharmacy? Sorry. Generally speaking - CVS is overpriced when compared to Target Pharmacy. This CVS often does not have the prescriptions in house and orders out for pick-up next day. We have also had issues with processing prescriptions. On one occasion the pharmacy associate kept entering patient information incorrectly. After 20 minutes of waiting for the associate to complete the data entry she told me my insurance had been cancelled - only to find out later that she was entering an incorrect birthdate. Not an easy experience. I don't need to be wowed with service - but please make the service focus on an efficient and easy customer experience. Update - the Pharmacy had police and news trucks visit - apparently the pharmacy put the wrong medication in a child's prescription and it had disastrous results. They really need to improve efficiency and processes to not only provide a better customer experience but also to prevent these types of public safety issues. read more

This store is clean and well stocked...sometimes I will need something random like a light bulb and they have had it every time. Like most drugstores they have a pharmacy and I have never seen the place so busy as to have more than a 15 min wait...which its not the case at some drugstores. Sometimes it seems like the aisles are so close together...if more than one person is in the aisle you almost cannot get through. Again...the people who come here can be strange...i once saw a person just in a towel and it was gross.this location is less than a mile from the nudist camp. Yesterday when I was there, there was a lady with pajamas on yelling that she didn't get enough coupons and she was going to take her business to Rite Aide...whatever cretan go away ! read more

This is my second problem I've had with CVS. I'm only posting this in hopes that CVS company changes management here. 1. My husband called before hand because we were rushing to take passport photos. They said they could take them. We show up and they say they were under remodeling and they stood there looking at us like they couldn't do anything for us. 2. Today we went in with our baby and a diaper bag. The man came up to me and asked for me to bring it to the front. He said they had been robbed today. While I understand how upsetting that is, I especially don't feel comfortable leaving my wallet bag etc in the front for someone to take. I walk to CVS weekly with my baby. Won't be shopping here anymore. Prices are terrible and so is the service. read more

However, I went to the register and waited almost five minutes for one of them to come check me out. Finally, I just decided to leave. Watch out for this pharmacy. Staff would rather send a customer away rather than give accurate information about how refils can be obtained after an increased dosage of a controlled substance from a physician. I guess they expected that my mother was completely ignorant. Anyhow, apparently they would rather not do their job. That's ok, Walgreen's got the business AND they called the doctor and it took like 10 minutes. Strong work CVS. Great ethics! read more
