The store itself is beautiful, clean and lots of staff, however the service is horrible! There are two checkouts open and plenty of self checkouts, but the air fryer I had in my cart had some security tag on it so I had to go through the regular checkout line, there was a problem with the customer in front of me and the other checkout line there was a problem there too! Instead of somebody else to open up and check us out, they have three employees standing around, trying to solve the problem or just observe what was going on, extremely frustrating! Managers need to train your associates! This could have been so smooth and simple if there weren't so many associates standing around the one coupon problem, or whatever was going on with both lines ! We left our cart and you lost a $200 sale because Costco would never! One associate didn't even know how to use the conveyor belt! Lake Elsinore's Target off of Collier is ORGANIZED and easy to navigate. I only had to ask for help once while trying to locate the Men's sandals section. I was desperate and had to buy a pair of Goodfellow sandals. I'm not very happy with them, but they're decent considering the rest of the sandal selection at this location sucked. The value was also pretty sucky, I paid $25 for mid-tier sandals. I roamed the store a bit and found some amazing LEUSD merch which included all of the high schools in the Lake Elsinore area (Lakeside, Elsinore High etc.). If you're a student, staff, fan, or parent of any of these schools they have great items to choose from. I was close to buying a shirt! Overall, staff was a little sour and needed a little more personality. Only one girl who was monitoring the self-checkout line was super sweet and helpful with a couple trying the navigate the system. Shoutout to her kind disposition! I'm still a fan and patron of this location, I just thought the vibe was a little off today. It's a clean store and there's always plenty of parking. Target run for grandkids to pick a gift from ME (and Dean) I'll admit..the shelves were getting empty..but kids know what they want...transformers ...puppy with its own kennel (not real ) sonic toys ...headphones...and treats for my grand pup...had gift cards that covered part of it..cashier was very helpful while I figured out how to swipe the cards .. All four of my grandkids were very good walking together with wide isles and large carts for their toys..Parking up front was a big bonus! read more

I came into target at 11:30 PM, came straight there right after I got done with work. Had to go get my daughter a birthday gift, I found her a Minnie mouse bicycle along with a Minnie mouse helmet to match. Grabbed a few other things didn't even have a cart. Over the intercom, they said make your way to the front to pay for your items. I was in the very back of the store. By the time I got to the front, it was 12:06. The lady at the front said " sorry I sent all the cashiers home" I asked if she could ring me up she said no. She said come back tomorrow. I told her I go to work early in the morning and I wanted my daughter to wake up to her new bike from her daddy that works all the time. Her response was " sorry can't help you" but if I were to walk out with it, that's OK....... Between my wife and I we spend anywhere from five to $700 a month at target. Our money will be going to Walmart from now on. I'm honestly in disbelief right now. My daughter is gonna wake up and think that I forgot her birthday. I even told her what it was for. I had four to $500 worth of merchandise in my we my. It would've taken three minutes to scan if that. Target will not get another dime out of me my wife nor my kids. read more

So yes, I found some nice NECA toys here, and some sales they have for Mcfarlane toys which is down from $20 to $9 a figure, you can't beat that anywhere, besides of the heat, if you made it here, still plenty of toys for all the collectors to grab. read more

At the 18287 Collier Ave location in Lake Elsinore on 12/10/25 at around 5:00 PM the manager Gabby was very rude and unprofessional to me and my fiance. We saw six pillows on a shelf with a label that said "was $30; now $25" so we bought four of them. When we checked the receipt we saw we were charged $30, so we went to customer service and spoke with Gabby. She first told us the pillows were in the wrong spot, but when we offered to take her over there to look she lied and said a team member checked and the price said $30. My fiance then went and took a picture of the sign with the remaining pillows, and when I went to request to talk to Gabby I saw her roll her eyes before coming up to me annoyed. She tried to repeat that a team member already checked but when I showed the picture and zoomed in on the sign saying $25 she snapped at me and said "Well that's why I'm going to give you a refund! Where's your receipt!" I told my fiance what happened and when she confronted Gabby she accused me of having an attitude which is why she had an attitude, and my fiance began to record her when she started to get hysterical. She stopped as soon as soon as she noticed she was being recorded and pretended to be professional. I encourage the store to review the footage and make their own call whether it's right to treat shoppers like this. Please update your store hours for callers. Your message as of today 6/24/20 says this location is closed and immediately afterwards it says you are open at 8am-10pm. When shoppers are running errands for elderly/ill family, we rely on answering services to inform us correctly. FYI fellow shoppers, their special times for "vulnerable guests" is stated they're open the first hour on TUESDAYS & WEDNESDAYS 8am. This one's a pretty good location, actually. It's nice and large, has a good bullseye section, isn't normally too packed. The customer service could be better - I asked a couple employees for help finding something but they just referred me to the customer service desk up front. Maybe they were new or just busy? Absolutely worst customer service! My adult daughter and I shared a basket but we were paying separately. No customers were in self checkout. I had about 10 items as did my daughter. We were stopped by Gregory who stated that self checkout was for only 10 items or less. I explained that it was two separate transactions that we would do at the last two terminals and it would be no different if she had a separate basket. He said "oh okay". Then a raging bitch named Sabrina comes running down and says, "No, you are not using self checkout! You need to go to a cashier." I tried to explain to her as well (their cashiers always take forever) but there was no reasoning with her. Her customer service was atrocious at best! Sabrina is a complete and utter piece of work! I see that four reviews ago another of the Lake Elsinore Target store patrons had the same issue with a gift card. Maybe the Target store employees that think it's their privilege to steal from a patron should be made aware of the federal law that will change their lives forever! If you are convicted of unlawful possession or use of an unauthorized or counterfeit gift card, credit card, or other "access device" in violation of 18 U.S.C. section 1029, you face a fine of up to $250,000, up to 10 years in prison, or both. If you read the review from Tavia H., the exact thing has happened to me. My Sister turned 86 this month, and I got her a $86 Target Visa Gift Card. Well, imagine my surprise when I received a call from her asking why I'd give her a card when I'd spent the money on the card. Not only did the target employee feel I was an easy mark, in addition, they also embarrassed me in front of my Sister. I don't just expect restitution for this illegal act, I would expect this employee to be prosecuted. And last, be far from least, when I asked the Target investigation department what they intended to use my company email for, the reply was, "we need it to contact you when we complete the investigation. I asked, "do you assure me this is the only thing it will be used for?" Her reply, "yes Sir". Since I gave my company email I have received *SIX* Target email adds, and not ONE investigation report. This is a terrible Target. You'd think on Christmas Eve employees would be more joyful. But not here! Cashier Esmeralda was a real Grinch. Not one smile! She got pissy when I was looking for a $5.00 coupon that had fallen off the ham I was purchasing. Never found it, she didn't as much as offer to honor the coupon, just shrugged her shoulders. Target in Lake Elsinore, please stop allowing these individuals to handle your customer service center. They are not fit for the position and should be placed in the back where they have no contact with customers. Because of them, I will never return to this location. As a frequent flier at Target from coast to coast, I can tell you that this is the BEST store I have ever shopped at! First, the store is impecable, so clean. Second, all the shelves are fully stocked. Third, it's an experience in the kids section. It's like you entered Disneyland minus the ridiculous lines and elbow to elbow with a million people. I wish my local Target in Columbus Ohio were exactly like this Target!!! The shopping part of my experience was great! However when I got the check stand, that changed really quick. Our store clerk was nice to the people ahead of us and was nice at first to us. Until it was time to pay and I had swiped my WIC card, then this guy had a really bad attitude for no reason at all towards me. So then for the remaining balance I wanted to pay $28 in cash which was only five dollar bills, a ten dollar bill and some ones. This guy at the register stood there and checked every single bill.. this was so crazy to me! There was a really long line behind us and then he is going to profile me into thinking that my five dollar bills and ones are fake ?! Then after we pay he sticks his arm out for me to take the receipt and he looks the other way without saying anything! How rude! I have never had a problem like this at my target. I gave it some stars because it's target and I love shopping at any target. I gave it 2 stars for the service and presentation. No one is helpful, no one offers assistance, no one is ever in a good mood, no one acknowledges you, and the stocking of items is very poor. The worst part is the food section, mainly the refrigerated section. Yogurt is never fully stocked and the desired brand is never available. On a recent visit there were no eggs stocked, milk was all expired and other foods were not available. I left frustrated and decided to go somewhere else. I just came on this morning to check Sunday hours, I am a regular customer of this location although the Haun location is closer to me. In fact this location has been my go to for the last 4 years ! I happened to start browsing the reviews! I'm honestly astonished. Many of the 1 star reviews are ridiculous and don't account for that low of a review! I've had nothing but good experiences here. Lines have been longer than before but; we all know business' are having a very hard time keeping employees right now! Use self check out! I've had some slow checkers, but usually they are older and I am glad to wait, they are working ! And should be honored for that! The cvs pharmacy staff is beyond amazing and helpful whenever I have any questions on any of my medications or refills. I've never had any issues with any of my refunds. I do store pick up often as well and I've had an item be missed or received someone's item before, but; come on!! They are human, we all make mistakes, do we not!? For you to say they have ONE job!?? It's a mistake, yes it is unfortunate to get home and not have what you asked for, they are also doing so many of those a day and multiple people in the process, a call to the store would be sufficient. To give a business a 1 star review is asinine. I've been there when the bathrooms are not kept up, I let a staff member know and they send someone in to clean it! Simple.
