My favorite favorite FAVORITE store is Costco--yes, Costco. If you know, you know. I shop in bulk because I don't like shopping frequently, and for a busy person like myself, Costco makes it easy to stock up and stay stocked. One thing I absolutely love is how clean and organized Costco always is. And let's be real--you can walk in hungry and end up full thanks to the sample demos. Trying new products or food items on sale while you shop? Elite experience. I usually shop at the Costco Business Center, where I can grab my beef and beef bacon, along with my monthly fruits and veggies. Costco does an amazing job keeping their produce fresh and high quality, which matters when you're buying in bulk. The membership is 100% worth it, especially if you shop often. On top of groceries, you can take advantage of discounts on rental cars, vacations, and gas, which really adds up over time. Pro tip: I recommend shopping Sunday through Thursday. Fridays and Saturdays can be a lot--crowded getting in and out--but during the week it's much smoother. And let's not forget the food court. The pizza is amazing, hot, and ready if you order one or two boxes (maybe three--I'm not mad at it ). It's perfect for a quick grab-and-go. If you haven't tried Costco yet, what are you waiting for? This Costco is not as crowded as the one in MoVal. Service was excellent specially with the lady that helped me sign a friend for a membership. Jeff however was rude, unprofessional, unhelpful and unfriendly. It was right when they opened and I was trying to go to the customer service dept. He rudely told me that I had to go to the entrance, navigate through the store and pass the cashier aisle only to get to the customer service which was by the entrance. It doesn't make sense but whatever. If he only was more friendly instead of using a tone I didn't appreciate, it would have been fine. On the other hand, John and Dan was friendly and professional thus the 4 star. Lots of parking on a weekday and store had a lot of goods to choose from. Pretty good prices as expected. read more

This was actually my first time shopping at this location, but hubby had been here a couple of times already. We decided to go on a Sunday afternoon around 5pm. I thought it would be a good time where there would be less people, but I was completely wrong. Despite that, we really had no problems finding parking. We had plans to go in for a few things, but of course that didn't happen. Things never go according to plans when it comes to Costco. We found everything we needed plus some extra stuff. Amazingly with the crowds of customers, the staff were pleasant and managed to keep displays, shelves, and aisles tidy. Our checkout process was a breeze and the customer service was good. They were all polite and friendly. I don't think I'd ever manage shopping here by myself. I'd prefer to have a shopping buddy with me every time. read more

It's a toss up for me between if I like this location more than the Temecula one. Proximity wise, it's not the most convenient location, plus the fact that the store is flipped compared to the Murrieta and Temecula locations threw me for a loop. Everyone who says the Murrieta location is huge is delusional because LE is definitely larger in size on top of having exponentially better, more helpful and friendly employees. I've never had a Costco employee just strike up a conversation, but Josie who was folding items in the women's clothing was very congenial and helpful as was Elida at customer service who took less than a minute to reset my husband's app login issue that Eric at the Murrieta location couldn't be bothered to help us with. Even the shoppers are more aware, less rude and pleasant at this location! read more

Some items are Rarely stocked like Seaweed Salad @ $9.99. Such a deal, four times as much as you'd get at Vons or a grocery store. Have been customers of this Costco for five years now. Got two different memberships, one for personal use the other for my business. Have spent thousands of dollars here...Came in today for a quick personal grocery trip, (spent $200) grabbed the last pack of blackberries that was half empty. Got up to the register and asked the cashier whether I could get a discount since the pack was only half full, she proceeded to ask her supervisor. The supervisor first implied that I was wrong and this was not the last pack and that there was a pallet-full in the produce section. I assured him it was indeed the last one. He then radioed someone in the produce department and that person confirmed that there were no more blackberries, validating my statement. The cashier at the point looked up at the supervisor and asked again whether she would be able to discount the blackberries for me, the supervisor said no and that I either had to buy the half full pack at full price or they would just have to throw it out. I still bought the blackberries BUT, this is Extremely disappointing on the behalf of this Costco where I have been shopping for five years and spending an obscene amount of money. read more

I'm so disappointed in this Costco. If nothing else this store had some of the best produce around as well as a great selection of meats and fish. Sadly it appears this store has jumped into the growing list of other grocery stores that sell rotten produce, poorly trimmed and fatty meats along with almost everything else that's perishable. Last year at this time I was baking non stop with Costco's peaches and other stone fruits, their strawberries and of course their blueberries. The meat and fish department was my go to for high ticket meats. Now I am buying beef tenderloin and the high end meats that are loaded with fat and silver skin. The cost of meat has gone up and now they leave fat on that's included in their very high price. The peaches I bought recently are all rotten to the pits. Same with the nectarines, rot on the inside even though they are still firm on the outside. I threw away $40.00 worth of peaches and nectarines last night. Each piece of fruit looked great on the outside. I'm truly disgusted that Costco has jumped on the bandwagon that advertises high quality perishable foods and they are now out to make a profit off of already stressed and disappointed customers. I don't get it, how much money can these shareholders grab from people who are already struggling to afford groceries, how much money is enough to justify dishonesty and greed just because you can? I used to think at least there's Costco when I couldn't find any decent produce, decent fish and meats, and now they are a bad as everyone else. How do these big corporations justify stealing from their customers? Does it become easier over time to rip off your loyal customers that have supported you for many years? Lisa N is incredibly rude at the registers snickers and snarks smart comments talking about "you need to load everything on the the cart it's just like a regular grocery store " when the only thing on my cart was 40 pk water bottles and big boxes of drinks they always scan on the cart with out a problem she kept saying other stuff under her breath the entire time and snatched my Costco membership from my hand and kept it through out the entire transaction. I've never had that happen they always scan it in my hand and the way she snatched it all hard. Some young guys where behind me and she complete changed her attitude and did not snatch their card just scanned it and was smiling . Just nasty behavior she should not be working the registers. Estella at the optical department in Lake Elsinore is truly a life saver! Estella has now helped me so many different times and ways with my frames that I have to directly give her credit to the near disappearance of my daily headaches. After visiting a handful of other Opthalmologist to try to "fix" the issue with my glasses, Estella not only listened to my complaints but she somehow understood what I was trying to convey. This store is very clean, very professional ,very organized and everyone is so helpful and wanting to please you and make sure that you got the items you were looking for. Membership, Emmeline has been my favorite she is knowledgeable, quick, and friendly . The store isn't very crowded. You'll always find a close parking spot and friendly service. Dan in customer service goes over and beyond . Yesimina at the door always smiling and friendly . The staff outside - the guys out collecting the shopping cart in the parking lot, worked very hard and are always pleasant. Whether it's being bumped into by folks running a race with their cart, or the demolition derby in the parking lot for a space, or the jockeying for a better position at the gas pump. Civility aside, we've been huge fans for over twenty years, in five different states. Their only competitor, is the east coast's BJs Warehouse. Costco is famous for their 17% markup over cost. I was disappointed at "self check out" that wasn't self check out, the associate said she would scane everything for me, scanned the bottom, scanned the top, then said "YOU CAN scane what's in the seat" I did,paid, got a receipt and went to leave, door checker called for an audit from self check out, the girl pulled on the cart,which made me keep up, it turned out she didn't scane two different pizzas in the top bulk part of the cart, I felt uncomfortable, I asked "you said you scanned everything in the cart except the seat" she replied "no I didn't", "Why would you scane everything except 2 items in the cart"at this point she no longer wanted to talk about it. read more

I went with a friend who had a membership. We were trying to find dog food. First of all there is no signage in the store on the aisles. NONE!!! Only cryptic numbers. Ok, so then I asked 5 (five) different employees were the dog food is. They all just pointed in a vague general direction. All five of them. Then I called the administrative staff for directions. Even she kept telling me the back corner wall. Of course the pet food was toward the front of the store on a side wall. Far far away from were everyone was pointing. Super disappointed. Horrible customer experience. Most of the employees seemed angry. Only the lady on the phone was pleasant. Definite not a place of would ever pay to join. Horrible customer service. Literally was just told by store associate that it doesn't matter if you call it in. So instead of ordering BEFORE I went inside. I called in my order on my drive to the store. When I got there I went inside to pick up online order. Then back outside to get food. It's now been 30 minutes from purchasing my food and it's still not done. I called my order in an HOUR ago. What's really interesting is, 10 minutes before I called in my order I called and asked how long pizzas were taking cause I didn't want my pizza to get cold. I was told 5 minutes. So I told the person I would call back when I got closer to the store. So I talked to two different persons and not one of them mentioned that it really didn't matter if I called it in. Then the icing on the cake... they finally called my number and said "this is the last call for order number..." when it was the only call. Women's restroom was completely out of toilet paper and two of the stalls were clogged. I asked nearby worker for TP and he said he would call maintenance. I waited a few min and other people were waiting as well. The worker was still nearby and I asked him if I could just grab some TP that was in their closet as you walk by to get to the restrooms. He said I'll call the maintenance worker again. Then a female worker walked in to use the restroom and another customer asked her for assistance to get TP. The worker's response "I'm on lunch break" and she walked away!! Needless to say no one ever came back with TP. Very disappointed and extremely disgusted that Costco does not routinely check the bathrooms for cleaning and re-filling of supplies! People are amazing. Store is always clean. Not a fan of the constant reorganization of the product, makes it very difficult for my elderly father. Some products seem to be a diminished quality. The store is fine, except for the self checkout area. The store wants to have a single designated lineI for these registers, but no signage to tell customers that it exists. So while there are people like me who line up appropriately (we have been told by employees in the past), there's always those that walk right past us & walk up to a register without waiting in line. In July 2023, I had my 2019 Lexus NX300 tires rotated. The tire center technician damaged my rims around the Lexus logo center of the rim. A claim was written where the tire center took responsibility for the damages but later recanted the claim. Store manager refused to take responsibility for the damages despite having a written document from the Tire Center that the damage was done. For months, I fought this claim and their insurance also denied any wrongdoing. Took it to the Bureau of Automotive Repairs and Costco continues to deny responsibility but was willing to only cut a check for $200. Guilty? I say so! Why cut me a check for only $200 when the damages were $800. Luckily, Chase Bank sided with me and refunded my entire transaction of over $800.00. For my feee tires but still have damages to the rim despite having written proof of the damages. Beware that these technicians are always in a rush and don't take the time to be careful of your rims. My recommendation, have the Tire or Store manager inspect your rims, take a video of the inspection prior to having your tires rotated or new tires slapped on. According to the Bureau of Automotive Repairs, this is a common problem with Costco Tire Centers and Sam's Club centers when they have untrained technicians rushing the jobs or are untrained. Lexus in Temecula stated that they would never allow damages like this to happen to their customers' vehicles...sloppy work according to Lexus. read more

I've only experienced great service. Place seems to get busier and busier. Staff is always smiling, too. Photo center is one of my favorite departments in COSTCO and they always have the best deals on photo gifts. One of my favorite employees who is always energetic and helpful is Jully. Thanks so much, Jully!! Attentive and helpful anytime I've been. It's never a quick trip; I always find something new. I've recently had trouble finding one item though. I needed to find the individually wrapped crepes again. Missing these hazelnut chocolate crepes.
