One of their staff is quite rude, but otherwise the staff is polite and helpful. A good way to get a good deal is to buy something, then use the coupons attached to your receipt for a good bargain. read more

The lady standing in the front asked if we needed any help when we walked in and continued to follow us around the store staring at us on the tampon aisle when we realized she was standing at the end of the aisle staring at us she asked could she help us and we replied no we're getting tampons she called another associate to the front and continued to stare . As a customer to their Pharmacy, you are a burden. They literally want nothing to do with people at all. 1st time in the drive-thru, I sat at the window for 10 minutes, with no help, while 2 ladies inside just chatted away. They had no intention to help me. In fact, no one inside the pharmacy did, so I left. 2nd and 3rd time there, same type of service, except I was inside this time. I'm going to switch to another Pharmacy. As bad as Walmart is, I might get better service there. read more

Today is 1/30/25. When I moved back to this area, I figured customer service had to have improved over the years right...wrong! We'll to be truth for the 1st year everything was fine. Until, I called today to update my son's insurance of the phone. Words can not express how rude this lady was. I was accused of being entitled,overly sensative, and wanting my way because I physically can't bring in an insurance card right now. (A family member is picking up the meds) I made sure to be kind, but this lady went in on me. I can't write the entire interaction, but believe me, nothing I said warranted this type of result from her. Not to mention the having up in my face. If I had known that would have been the result, I honestly would have paid for the medication. If you experience issues... report it. 1800-746-7287. They were very kind and shocked. If you're going to make people wait on hold to refill prescriptions for 15 minutes or more, get some damn decent music to listen to at least! JFC.... put on a loop of motown or easy listening. I've been on hold for 17 minutes so far, and have my phone on speaker waiting. Hell, it's 8:40 on a friday night -are you seriously that busy??? I'm only on hold because i had another pharmacy transfer my Rx, so I don't know what Rx number it is in your system, so I can't do the automated crap on the phone. As I was typing this, someone answered. He had a very heavy accent which I found very difficult to understand, and he also had a major attitude. Hopefully, my Rx's will be ready at 11am as he said they would be. I may update this review and let you know if it was. I thought Walgreens sucked, but this place is definitely comparable to their suckiness. Time to shop for another pharmacy. I miss Rite Aid. read more

This CVS is just ok. On my last visit the store just seems tired. I have used the pharmacy here a couple of times but I prefer the one in Lakeland. I think it may be ready for a remodel of both the interior and the personnel. Now that Riteaid is part of Walgreens, CVS is the only option in our neighborhood for a freestanding drugstore. read more

There are tons of CVS all over the country and most of them are very similar. This one has an issue with the Pharmacist himself. He is rude, slow, uncaring and just plain not nice. We have had to deal with him on several occasions and not once has he been even remotely kind. He obviously doesn't like people and might want to look for a job with a mail order pharmacy so he won't have to work with the public. Other than that, most of the other employees have been nice. read more

This is the worst pharmacy in Memphis! The pharmacy techs in back are all talking loudly, laughing, dancing around WHILE they're filling our prescriptions. Unbelievable! I can't believe they haven't injured somebody by giving someone wrong medicine in his/her bottle. I will never return to this pharmacy, and I use the term 'pharmacy' lightly. Switched to CVS in Target on Poplar; pharmacy techs all busily filling the prescriptions in a very professional manner. The Pharmacist is great, too; friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. Medicines are always ready as promised; well worth the extra miles for the peace of mind that my pharmacist has his/her mind on work and not on socializing. read more

Horrible pharmacy - gives you the third degree on OTC medicines to be sure you know the right answers. If you don't they won't sell you the medicine. Does anyone know what symptoms zyrtec helps with? Never fails that every single time I try to get my Metformin prescription through this store there's is always a reason why it can't be billed to insurance. This time they told me "because the prescribing dr isn't covered by your insurance means we can't bill your insurance" my insurance is my insurance and has nothing to do with what dr I use. Walgreens has zero problems billing it and neither does Kroger. The real problem is lazy people with bad attitudes that don't want to do their job. I'll go elsewhere from now on. read more

Went tonight in need of cold medicine for a two year old. I scanned the children's medicine over quickly and lazily and just went and asked the pharmacy manager. I was told no cold medicine was made for children two and younger. I wasn't satisfied so I wen't and really looked this time. Found three different types. I grabbed what I needed and one of each kind and took them back to the pharmacy manager and told him I found three and here they are so you can get acquainted with them. I was then told he meant they don't make any for 2 and younger that are FDA approved. I just walked off. I didn't ask for any fda approved anything originally. idiot. Don't go here to the pharmacy they might shrug you off like they tried to me. read more

Awful first and last experience.I arrived at CVS a little after the promised pick up time. I left the doctor's office with a serious case of strep and a rising fever. Luckily, the doctor gave me 800 mg of Ibuprofen before I left or I probably would have ended in the hospital. The first lady was pleasant and explained that the were a little backed up and to give them 10 to 20 more minutes. I went to get dinner and came back 20 minutes later plus 10 to get to the window and the pharmacy manager Traci said "oh it will take another 10 to 20 minutes". I told her that the other lady told me the same this 30 minutes ago. She then was EXTREMELY RUDE and blurted out, WELL YOU CAN JUST WAIT RIGHT HERE IT'S ONLY 2 OF US! Then she rolled her eyes and walked off. I guess I upset here so bad that she sent the other lady back...but her attitude towards me was different which aggravated me even more.This was the absolute worst experience! I have used another CVS pharmacy for years and never experienced anything like this. After working 10 hours, picking up 2 kids and going to the doctor to find out Im very ill..I don't have time nor do I deserve your attitude. Obviously there is a staffing issues here and that's not my fault. Control your composure you are in the healing business. Also, maybe the staffing issue is due to management? read more

Pharmacists and techs are mainly floaters; unfriendly; slow; and cannot fill prescriptions correctly the first time.

Horrible service. Tried to get grand son's prescription filled for strep throat. Waited an hour and a half. Hospital kept calling them but they wouldn't answer. Hospital left voice mail...CVS said they didn't get it. Then finally said they got it. Waited even longer and checked with the counter again....different person. They once again said they didn't get it. I called the hospital again....they tried to call it in again and said cvs wouldn't answer. I told the hospital to just call the Kroger pharmacy. I'm at Kroger now and it will be ready in five minutes. See ya CVS....no more business for you. I will also post this on yelp. read more

The good news is that CVS bought Target's pharmacies! I reluctantly kept the same insurance plan in 2014 and 2015. I went to the store only to go to the pharmacy, with gritted teeth. Once Target was an option, I transferred the two prescriptions there. I love Target and the pharmacists are so nice and helpful. Yay! read more

It was like I had done something to them in another life. First they did not have my prescription ready the associate at the window said he did not "think the medical provider was authorized to write one of my prescriptions" so he would have to call the clinic to see which would take more than a few minutes. He ask me if my contact number was correct and we agreed it was and he said they would contact me via text when it was okay to pick up my order. One hour later I get a text asking for more insurance info which was not necessary since it was a worker's compensation claim. I call and get put on hold for 15 minutes. Long story too late to be short their service was very bad and it was like they did not want my business or presence. Even up to the call to pick up my order; it did not happen I had to go back to the window well after I was told my order should be ready. I will make CVS my last resort when it comes to anything they sell. read more
