As a business owner and always respectful I was dishonored. Golden Beauty has some of the worst customer service I've experienced. I recently purchased aloe vera gel and whipped shea butter, and both products were not up to standard. The aloe vera was already open with no seal, and the whipped shea butter was hard and gummy instead of soft and usable. I returned within the same week and politely asked if I could exchange the items. Instead of trying to help, the store manager immediately asked for a receipt with an attitude. I explained that I had just purchased the items days prior and that the condition of the products clearly showed they were not up to par. He refused to assist and dismissed the situation with a shrug, like it didn't matter. To make things worse, the environment felt unwelcoming during the interaction, which made the experience even more disappointing. As a business owner of a public relations firm, I understand customer service and uphold customer care, product integrity, and how important it is to stand behind what you sell. There was no effort to resolve the issue or provide even a basic level of service. Thing is I still went ahead and repurchased the items I needed. Disappointed in the treatment but didn't let it stop my tasks for the day. The male store manager was an asshole supported by the smaller Asian female who mean mugged us leaving. I will NOT be returning. Very Bad Business.

The employees here are always so welcoming. Last night I probably had at least 4 ask if I needed help during my 20 min visit. I even had my 1st in-store return and the process was so smooth. On many occasions, I find myself asking them for their advice on flat iron or hair dryer purchases. If anyone knows what the best sellers are, it will be the folks behind that counter. I also feel like this location is much shinier and newer. Their hair coloring books are still in order and are very organized, many of the locations I have been to they are in complete and utter disarray. This complicates matters when you are trying to formulate on the spot for a client you might be doing for money on the side. They also have a nicer selection. Well, it feels that way to me anyhow.
