The first and last time I'll be filling prescriptions here. If you need a 24 hr pharmacy, please look elsewhere and if that elsewhere is a drive, you're better off driving. My doctor called in a prescription and spoke with someone (did not leave a message). She was told that the medication would be ready in 1 hour so I figured going in two hours would be enough time. I arrive to the pharmacy and there is no record of my prescription. Nobody was apologetic for the inconvenience and I was basically ignored until my doctor had to call in AGAIN. I was then told that I had to wait another 20 min. Harry's attitude was unacceptable. He not only gave me attitude but gave the sweet couple in front of me attitude for no reason. Considering people are picking up their medication, the pharmacy staff needs to have a little more compassion for their patients. read more

It's the worst CVS pharmacy I have ever been to. If I could give this place a zero star, I would. The pharmacist keeps helping others who are cutting lines instead of those who are in line or have an appointment for vaccination. She continuously took incoming prescriptions instead of helping those who had already checked in or were in line for pickup. I did not see the pharmacist assisting those at pick up or consulting regarding the medication; instead, she was standing by the computer. Also, I see her sending patients to the pick-up line when they are having prescription and insurance issues instead of having them contact their physician's office or insurance company, which did not help in moving the patient flow. In addition, there are no waiting areas for the older patient to sit down. The overall experience was not great. read more

I had to write a review for the drive-thru at my local CVS pharmacy. I regularly pick up my prescriptions there and use their app to pay for my prescriptions in advance. I never had problems with the drive-through and every single staff member is very nice. Even if there is a line, the line moves along. I don't have as good of luck going inside (because pharmacy lines) but seriously the drive-through is amazing. I would highly recommend this location for drive-thru pharmacy needs. Pro tip: Use the CVS app. I talked did the staff there and they told me that it makes their life easier and it definitely makes yours easier. Scan a QR code, pick up your prescription and you were out of there. You can refill your prescriptions from the app and transfer prescriptions. I've never had any problems with it. read more

If I could give a negative I would by far the worst experience of my life with a CVS Pharmacy or any pharmacy for that matter. No communication between staff or clients and their excuse is they have over 1000 clients. So how can I trust you if you feel uou dont need to have good communication because you have many clients. Over 10 staff members in the pharmacy and they didn't start having more than one register open until I made comments. You know you are dealing with medications and needs that people need to live and the lax attitude and no remorse for their miscommunication was very concerning. worse experience ever! went last night on December 4th around 10:45 with my wife and daughter and this rude homeless looking guy told my daughter that her dog that she was carrying couldn't come in but very rude! the dog was even more clean and groomed than he was! Told him that it was a service dog cause of my girls anxiety which by the way said she would wait outside! In California according to the code we are not obligated to show any credentials according to the law! I'm getting an attorney's opinion tomorrow to see what I can do! Unfortunately my Dr sent my medicine here instead of where I asked. This place never fails to disappoint. 2 hour long wait for medication that was sent over 12 hours prior, and then fails to let me know that some of the items I needed were simple over the counter, when I call to ask why I didn't get these medications in my bag they simply give me attitude and throw it on their co workers. My favorite CVS in the area! I like the fact that this place is open 24/7 making it convenient for me to pick up my medications whenever I have time to do so. The pharmacy department is great, everyone here is very professional and polite. I've been coming here for years and till this day I have no complaints about anyone. The rest of the store is always well stocked and organized. Outside, there is plenty of parking in this shopping center and the area outside is always clean. read more

I went to the store to buy products that I needed, out of the three items I needed I was only able to buy one of a different brand I really didn't want. I wanted to utilize the coupons I received on my Extra Care membership app. I've been to this store twice before and it seems that they are always low on stock on items. I received a survey from CVS asking me how my experience was at the store and how they could improve and if I was able to find the items I needed. I answered the survey honestly and provided my feedback. My statements were not directed at anyone nor was it an attack on staff members, it was simply sharing my frustration about the empty shelves. I felt that if CVS was providing coupons to its customers they should at least have those items available for purchase. The following day I received an e- mail from the store manager Angel who took my survey personal and stated my comments were Negative and didn't want to share my survey response with staff members as to not impact the store crew moral with my comments. I found that Angels comments were extremely rude, defensive and disrespectful ! Angel should know how to respond in a professional manner when responding on behalf of a large corporation such as CVS. A simple response apologizing for the limited stock would have sufficed. read more

After reading a review here posted by a friend of mine I decided to add in the fact that I personally reviewed the response from Angel, the self-identified store manager. The actual response is as follows: "i am very proud of the in stock levels of my chino store, unfortunately due to high demand and low production of certain item across the country, distribution centers are out. this is not the fault of an individual store. if you get the time, please see me at my store so we can discuss how inventories work and what we can do for you at the store level, that is controllable. rather than impacting the moral of my crew with your negative comments. feel free to stop by any time as my TEAM and i work extremely hard to fill the selves with product we do have, check out customers and patients, daily. This is the most incompetent pharmacy I have ever dealt with. On 11-9-2023 got a text telling me I had a prescription ready for pickup. I went there 3 days later and they had no record of the order. I was informed it would be filled that day. Later that day I again received a second text that the Rx was ready for pick up. Today, Monday, I again went to CVS. Again, they had no prescription ready. If I could leave no stars I would. Worst service ever. We were told the prescription wasn't ready when we drove into the drive thru. They then told us to wait in the parking lot and they would text whe it was ready in about 15-20 minutes. After almost an hour of no text and the 98 degree heat we walked into the store to be told the order still wasn't ready and it would be an additional 15-20 minutes. My son is sick with the flu and the cvs I usually use to pick my medications had already closed and wasn't able to get my sons medication and he really needed his antibiotics. So I called this CVS that's open 24hrs and the pharmacist Maggie was so helpful and was able to switch my pick up to them as it would take about a hour and they would be ready for pick up!!! This CVS saved my life. I was in an urgent need for a passport photo on a Monday night around 11 pm. I was going to go apply for a passport the following morning. Most locations around the area did not provide this service this late for some reason. The rep also made sure that my picture was compliant with the regulations set in place by the fed. I would recommend this CVS location for this very reason alone. They were extremely professional and courteous. read more

This is the closest CVS Pharmacy to home. I have been to this pharmacy before, but it is usually oozing with people. This Sunday morning was not that bad. I actually saw employees around, they are usually hiding from the mob of customers. I came here looking for some eye drops for my allergies. I have never seen so many options for eye drops, wow! I like how they put the expensive items at eye level and the cheaper, more affordable, much lower. You need to take a knee to see the more affordable items. I purchased the generic CVS Pharmacy eye drops for $3.99 instead of paying $19.99. The cheaper eye drops still did the job. I feel much better. Do yourself a favor, bend a knee, make the effort and save some bucks. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to, and I've been to some really crappy locations. I grew up in this area, so I've been to CVS on several occasions in the past, but never have I had an experience like I did tonight. I stood in line waiting to pick up my prescription for over 15 minutes. I couldn't help but notice that the woman in front of me who was also there for a prescription was told that they did not have it in stock and she would need to wait until tomorrow to call another location in Diamond Bar. The poor lady was trying to pick up medication for her daughter, and even dialed her on her cell phone so she could talk to the pharmacy tech, but to no avail. Then it was my turn. I was greeted by Harry, who I assume is also a pharmacy tech because no real pharmacist could ever be as rude as him. I informed him I was picking up my prescription and he looked me up, then told me that it was an over-the-counter medication. He had me follow him to the aisle where he picked up the item and handed it to me. Assuming CVS is like Walgreens, I asked him if he could ring up the item and he abruptly told me no. He told me I would have to GET BACK IN LINE AND WAIT all over again to be rung up. I told Harry that I had been waiting there for 15 minutes and he said it didn't matter. (I also didn't feel comfortable waiting any longer because one of their store workers was coughing up a lung the entire time I was in the store, and I wasn't trying to catch anything). So I asked for a supervisor and Harry pointed in the direction of the checkout and said to go there. As he dismissed me and started to walk away, I asked for his name, and he rudely hollered back "Harry" as if he didn't have a care in the world about the fact that I was about to complain about him...almost with this "try me, b****h" look on his face. I immediately went to the checkout and asked for a manager. A gentleman named Brian came to assist me. I explained what had just happened and he apologized. He told me that no customer should have to wait in line a second time after already waiting for 20 minutes, and offered to ring me up on the spot. I thanked him for being so helpful and explained that I wouldn't usually be so difficult, but Harry was extremely rude. He then informed me that I was not the first customer to complain about Harry...it seems to happen often. Long story short...something should be done about Harry. If he doesn't like his job, then he should quit. There are plenty of people out there who need work and aren't complete a-holes. Not sure how he stays employed. I will be shopping at Walgreens from now on. read more

The only thing I like about this CVS it's that it's 24hrs. So for any emergencies if they do have your meds they'll be ready in an hour. They recently remodeled it so it looks a lot better inside. Convenient drive-thru but it can take forever to get to the window sometimes. Recently I've been having trouble with the pharmacy and how they are filling all my prescriptions without being asked after I took them off auto fill. I call again to have this fixed since it can't be done online anymore, just to be placed on hold after explaining what happened. After 10mins someone picks up the line and hangs up the phone, nice. But again it a convenient 24hrs pharmacy so I guess I can deal with being hung up on lol. read more

Had PCP call in prescriptions at this location since my daughter was sick with a painful ear infection. Went to CVS to confirm her meds would be filled here and the young girl at the front counter assured the prescriptions would be filled within 45 minutes. Waited an hour only to be informed by what sounded like a rude and short fused pharmacist that my daughter's prescriptions were filled st a different location that was closed! I was shopping at this store and needed to use the restroom. I needed a key to get in (great security and cleanliness I was hoping for). I asked one of the staff members to assist me to get in. She said she was on her way to her break time and to ask the front counter for assistance. So I did, the counter had a line of customers and the restroom needed to be unlocked, she said she would call and to wait by the door. I walked back to the back of the store but no one showed up. I walked to the front again and let her know that the restrooms where locked and said she will call another staff member to help. I waited again and no one helped me. Then I walked back again to the front and let her know that the staff was in her break and did not want to help. I walked back and forth several times to ask for assistance. The lady who was on break came out of the break room and I asked her for help again. She told me the same thing, can't help cause on break. Minutes later, Someone must have told the lady on break to help. She came out and was visibly upset, gave me a key which she should have done at the start of her break and it would have been over and done with. Bad customer service! Zero stars!! read more

There has been a panhandler posted up at the entrance of the store asking people for money on two different occasions within the past few days I've been there. I mentioned it to one of the employees. I believe she's a manager of some sort because she wears a whiteish shirt different from the rest of the employees. When I mentioned it to her, she sounded indifferent and said something to the affect of "oh, is that Kenny?" I believe that's the name she said. I then saw her walk outside (to throw something in the trash I think) wave to the panhandler, and walk back inside. This obviously isn't an issue to her. Don't get me wrong, I understand some people are really struggling in life but I just don't think customers need to be harassed before walking into the store. read more

This place is horrible for customer service. Was charged twice, because someone ran my card then the register ran out of paper and they ran it again. I told them this would cause a double charge but the customer eccentric employee assured me it wouldn't, guess who was wrong. I go back to the store and bring my documents showing I was charged twice and I'm told "they can't issue refunds at the store level, only corporate can do that". Hmmm never heard that before. They provide me with a number I may call which is the standard 1-800-SHOP-CVS, hmmm ok. Then I'm advised if they can't help, come back to the store and they will help out......I thought they just told me they can't do anything at the store level? Sounds like a management training program is needed. Customer service is a dying breed, and it has become extinct at many establishments. Unfortunately you can add CVS to that list. read more
