Let me start off by saying I'm not a petty person, but CVS' photo department is horrible... Everywhere. I placed an online order for a photo book as a gift from my children to my wife. The order said it would be ready in 1 hour... So after 2 1/2 hours I call to check the status. The lady informs me that there are 5 orders ahead of mine and to come in 30 minutes.... Not a problem. So 30 minutes later (3 hours in total) I pack up my daughter to make a trip across town. I'm 2 minutes away when I get a call from CVS. They wanted to let me know that their machine isn't working and/or they do not have all the materials. They tell me to call the store up the street because that's where their manager is sending people. Of course the other location doesn't have the materials to fulfill my order. So I call more stores. Guess what? None of the stores in the area has working equipment or materials to fulfill a photo book. None. Not 1 store. read more

I have come here long before and for the customer service some of them be having with most customers is exceptionally rude!!! I have had to wait in line for almost an hour with them not being organized and sticking to finishing one section to get to the other people. I mean seriously, today was the worse!! The time limit to getting your medications was always up to an hour. Today I waited 3 hours since I had another appointment to rush too since I was running late and when I come back to pick them up since I am sick and wait in line another 30 to 45 minutes and to be told my medications are still in process and to wait 5 to 10 minutes. I mean come on!! CVS has gotten worse in a matter of days!!! Now as I was in line I saw the way one of the workers was treating an older customer. I mean if they expect us to have the patience to wait in the long lines until they finished fooling around with papers when they should stick to being in the section until all customers gone to do other work, WE expect patience while we explain what we were told and have been trying to do! I would give this CVS a 0 star for customer service. Their phone system is always busy, and if and when you get through, it hangs up on the first ring tone. It's frustrating when you have an emergency and need a refill of your medication. In one minute, my phone showed 20 redials and still unable to get through. It's no different from the other branches. This company just suck big time. Update: after being able to get through, some woman with a Vietnamese accent told me to wait because there were two other calls in the queu. Took 35 minutes of waiting til she came back, only to tell me that their computers are broken and then just hung up. F...n A. Located in the heart of Carson on Carson St. and Main St. lies this 24 hour Consumer Value Service (CVS) / Pharmacy. It's so funny how their sign says 24 hours during the day, but when it's lit up at night it states "24 ho rs". And instead of their lights saying pharmacy, at night it's lit up as "pha macy". Nice one!!!! Perks: - Open 24 hours - Has everything you need from food, make-up, clothing to baby diapers. Dirts: - LONG LONG LINES with 1 cashier at the front (I seriously had to wait 30 mins to pay - so not cool). - Bums like to hang out and beg for moola at the front. - Parking lot is vast yet narrow streets to maneuver Overall, only coming here if I really do need something. Usually come here because it's conveniently located in Carson(where I usually am) and it is open 24/7. This CVS can get busy at times especially near the holidays as you may see lines of people buying boxes of beer. Also the pharmacy section of the store(which is located in the back) can get busy near flu season. The wait for your medicine varies...sometimes...zoom like that..and other times...a while...Also, the cash register in the front..sometimes there's only one person or even two..during busy times..don't quite understand that....therefore, a long line and long wait. After repeated issues with trying to get my wedding "Save the Date" photos from another location, CVS corporate office redirected me to this location. The photos were printed immediately and I was greeted by Vic. He was very professional and understanding of my situation. He definitely turned this experience around for me. I do not understand why this CVS store hires employees that take us hard-working customers for granted. I hope this gets addressed in an appropriate and timely matter. I also work the retail field and I would NEVER let any of my employees talk to my customers as Melvin the manager let Noelany the cashier talk to me. This individual should have never spoken to me in the manner she was allotted to. Melvin directly said to me that I was at fault. I did nothing wrong but stick up for myself. I feel belittled and violated. This is not the first time I have been inconvenienced and embarrassed ....made to feel less than a human being because I use coupons to pay for the merchandise at this location. Just to prove my point my husband went to the store to get the corporate number and he was quickly taken back by the fact that Noelany was still talking about me and the situation that happened earlier to the same Manager Melvin in front of customers WOW CLASSY!! Noelany had also mentioned to Melvin how she disrespectfully dealt with her customers at Party City, whom she felt were giving her a hard time. She stated and physically showed Melvin the manager when the customer asked for her name she would stay silent and use her middle finger to point at her name badge as to signify FUCK YOU! Both began to laugh, Unbeknownst to them this interaction was being video recorded by my husband. This is a prime example of how management condones this horrible behavior and makes no effort to correct or improve the customer's shopping experience in that store location. I used to have my mom medications dispense by CVS Anza Torrance who provided exceptional service not until I have to relocate to Carson city and was force to transfer her prescription dispensing to CVS Carson. This pharmacy needs all staff to go on a customer service training. Sonya was worst. I greeted her hi, good morning and received no response. I've never been more offended in my life. I went to cvs today to pick up a prescription been coming here for years the lines are always long around 5 so I walked around the store window shopped a little waiting for the line to die down. While walking around for 10-15 minutes I had a female employee follow me around the whole time periodically looking at me and dusting the shelfs Nearest me. I noticed her following me figured she was doing her job no foul since I know I didn't take anything. I then went the the pharmacy picked up my perception and headed for the door once at the door the alarm went off and said something to the effect of "you have been chosen for a random inventory check please return to the cashier you checked out from" obviously it's no coincidence I was followed and then "randomly chosen for by bags to be checked" I stopped at the door looked at the women who had been following me and said what the heck. I love this place for 2 reasons: it's closest to home and it's 24 hours. Also add one more star because the cashiers are really nice, no matter how crazy the customers they're helping. This is the biggest CVS store I've been to and they seem to have everything I'm looking for. However, the lines are usually ridiculously long! HORRIBLE! I will never give this place my business again! I have been coming to this CVS Pharmacy since it was Savon. But, within the past several years, I've noticed a decline in customer service and lack of organization from the pharmacy staff. At first I dealt with it because I've been a customer since practically birth, but recently I've had two horrible experiences (and not to mention all the little nuisances that added up) that have sealed this pharmacy's fate. They have on several occasions, taken over an hour to refill birth control. Yes, I did try refilling using their automated system...and it's just as horrible. You never get notified when your prescription is ready. You have to call to follow up on the status of your prescription. If there is a problem refilling your prescription, they do not bother to call you. You only find out if there is an issue when you call to get an update or show up to pick your prescription. AND THESE ARE JUST THE MINOR ISSUES! Here is the BIGGIE! I called to have my birth control prescription refilled. I was advised that I had no prescription refills available and that they would contact my doctor to obtain a new prescription. First of all, they kept trying to reach my old Doctor. I told them several times that this person is no longer my doctor and gave them my new doctor's info. After two days of going back and forth, I was told that my doctor was not responding to them. CVS told me to call my doctor directly and see what can be done. I called my doctor, and it turns out that my doctor did talk to someone at CVS, and that they had sent over the prescription. My doctor advised me they would send it again. I called CVS to advise them what my doctor had told me. They denied ever speaking to my doctor and receiving her faxes. Day three! I had to contact a different pharmacy. That pharmacy was able to contact my doctor and have the prescription refilled in a matter of an hour. Unfortunately, they ran out of my birth control, so they sent my prescription back to CVS. The cherry on top? Waiting for another hour at CVS for my pills. SHAME ON THEM! They should be embarrassed of their sloppy work. Another pharmacy was able to do what they couldn't in an hour. Last, but not least! I called yesterday morning to have my birth control refilled using their automated system. I requested a pick up time of 6PM. It was past 6 and I did not get a text that it was ready for pick up, so I called the pharmacy. Of course! There's a problem. I was not allowed to refill my prescription because it was too early. Maybe a phone call earlier in the day to notify me would've been nice, right?! I advised CVS that I was getting married next week and that I will be on my honeymoon. They lady said fine, no problem. Call back between 9AM and 10AM tomorrow and we will do a vacation override. I called this morning...I explained the situation to a different lady and she had the audacity to tell me, that I can't get it refilled because my honeymoon is within the country and that I can have my prescription transferred to a pharmacy in that state and pick it up there, and then have it transferred back to them. Are you kidding me?! Then she said for me to call my insurance company to obtain a vacation override. Do your job lady!!! I can't believe the lack of compassion, understanding, and customer service!!! Who wants to find a pharmacy in another state on their honeymoon and transfer their prescription twice? Thy wouldn't fill prescription stating my Dr. license is expired. My Dr is legit and his license Is up to date. I went back to go pick my prescription paper up and they put suckers all over it and now I have to take more time off work to go back in the have it re-written.
