Thy wouldn't fill prescription stating my Dr. license is expired. My Dr is legit and his license Is up to date. I went back to go pick my prescription paper up and they put suckers all over it and now I have to take more time off work to go back in the have it re-written. They play games with certain medication and they profile you. Terrible. read more

They are open for 24 hours. I think that is the only thing they have going. The pharmacy is just so slow and the staff always seems confused. I always call ahead of time to make sure that my prescription has been filled and that it went through my insurance and somehow, they always manage to make mistakes. If I could only find another place that is open 24 hours I would definitely switch. read more

TERRIBLE PHARMACY. They didn't have the medication I needed. They told me to return the next day, I showed up at the store, waited for an hour, and then I was told they still didn't have it in stock. I waited a week, and at the end of the week, I still didn't have my medication despite multiple visits/calls. To make matters worse, I asked for my prescription back (it was a written one) so that I can instead go to a different pharmacy. Turns out they lost my prescription. DO NOT go to this store. They already had a bad rep in the news for stereotyping the Carson community. I'm not sure why I even came here in the first place. read more

I was born with a congenital kidney problem, so I will have kidney pain and kidney stones for the rest of my life. With that being said, when I'm in pain, the only thing I can take are Norcos. Well if you plan on having any prescriptions filled here, plan on rude pharmacists that lack compassion and understanding, rude technicians that judge you when you pick up prescriptions. I called one time to get some prices on my meds I needed after surgery, the technician that answered the phone was rude, short and just plain mean. I asked her was there a problem and why she was being rude she said "I am too busy too look up prices for you!" I was in total shock! Then I got her name and called back to the manager, he went on to say that "Well I'll have to get her side of the story..." OH MY GOSH!!! Not one apology or any sincerity in his voice!!! I don't usually write reviews, in fact this is my first time, but I've had it with this pharmacy! Sadly, I live close to this CVS, I've got no choice but to go here, been going here for years, but I always have problems, cashiers are so rude, store is dirty and disorganized, photos missing, pharmacists (if you can call them that) are so unprofessional and rude. I was just here today and was trying to get my prescription of a calcium supplement , but don't know the name because I can't read the doctor's hand writing when I turned it in a week ago, the pharmacist (if that's what you call her) gave me all kinds of excuses to tell me the prescription was not there, she has computers in front of her, and another one in the middle of the room, she gave me excuses first, before she turned to the main computer and found the answer to my missing prescription, , and when I asked why she gave me an excuse of the medicine being over the counter, she accused me of not knowing the name...wow!!! She is the pharmacist and she should be in control, and when I was talking to her about my concerns of her giving me so much excuses before looking at the computer, she just looked at me and it seems like she's not even listening.I went out, called the manager to complain, only to be given a cold and rude reception. I am not coming back to this store.I will go to the CVS in Long Beach, extra drive and effort, but they provide good customer service, never mind the drive, this CVS in Carson sucks! read more

This place has the worse customer service ever!!!! I stopped going there over two years ago for just that reason! I went today and not only did the older male cashier not greet me, he was openly rude!!!! After standing in line I asked where were the Green Dot Money Pack cards located and rudely he said "I" have them back here.... ummm okay can I have one I stated, he just walked away, got it, came back and slammed it down on the counter! I then asked how much can I put on it, he hunched his shoulders and said, "it has different RULES on it" What the heck????!!!! I then told him the amount and gave him the money, and disclosure screen popped up for me to read ( not much but I had to click yes or no) as I was reading he said just press the green button! I told him that I needed to read it first and he acted like he was annoyed! Geesh! Very poor customer service! I'm not even going to talk about how rude the OTHER older guy cashier helping someone with the return of a flashlight was, I observed him while waiting in line, he talked to the patron like an animal! We'll I don't speak to my animals like that! Horrible customer service! That solidified it, I'll NEVER go back to that CVS! Is there something LESS than one star?????!!!!! Workers here literally don't give a shit about customers. White older women with curly hair saw that I was having trouble and I even ask for help and she told me she couldn't help me. This place. It was a happy day when another CVS opened closer to my house. Every time I've had to get meds filled here it's been at least an hour wait. This time my doctor accidentally requested my prescription at this location. I showed up 3 hours after I left my doc's office, medicine was not ready. I was not shocked. The very nice tech told me that it would be at least a half hour before it was ready because it was still being processed. Now having been burned here before I knew it would be at least 45 minutes to an hour. The aisles were filled with people waiting for their prescriptions. If you have a choice of pharmacies I would definitely recommend you choose the other alternative. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This one star is for the ONE out of eight or so people working in the pharmacy that is actually trying to help me-Emma M. I had an issue getting my RX info to them because the card I provided didn't provide them with the information they required. I get up to the window and the pharmacist says she cannot help me because she doesn't know who to call. Okay first of all there's like 7 phone numbers on the back of the card she could have called, like Rite Aid does every single time, but okay fine I'll do it. I call and speak to the representative for my insurance and she places me on hold to call them directly and give them the information. I literally had to stand in like for 43 minutes with her coming back every 2 minutes to tell me she didn't hang up and they aren't answering. After telling them twice, the pharmacy hanging up on her twice, they finally answer the phone to get in the information. Only for me to have to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to actually fill my prescription. In addition to all of this, while I'm waiting in line the snotty male pharmacist comes out into the isle I'm waiting in, bumps right into me and doesn't even apologize! I am NEVER coming here again. read more

Don't ever call the pharmacy! They make you wait for over half an hour then hang up on you! I called back and stayed on the phone again. I tried to call the pharmacy just to find out if the doctor faxed in my prescription. My husband tried to call on his phone just to see if they would answer his call first. I was so upset with them being busy to answer a simple question that i stayed on the phone and drove to the pharmacy. They answered the call while i was in line. She said hello can i help you? I yelled at her and said yes I am in line and I was on hold for over 20 minutes the second time. She didn't even care that I was upset. She said she was busy. What got me even more mad was that there was only one person in line. I asked them why don't they answer the phone? They said they are too busy too answer the phone! I told her that they should put a message on their phone saying that there is going to be a high wait time. I asked for the manager to complain but they said he was gone for the day. This is the worst pharmacy ever. Their lack of professionalism and their downright laziness is amazing. Every month it is a struggle to refill a prescription with them. It says something about a pharmacy when you have to provide the Drs fax number every time because they can't be bothered to make a note of it. Not to mention that they have no follow up system at all. I am forced to use then because my insurance isn't accepted at Walgreens, so I'm switching insurance to one that is. I don't use the Pharmacy, but I do buy my cosmetics, and other items. I couldn't find the hairspray I use and asked a clerk if she could help me find it. She took me to where it was, but they only had one. She said she would order more and call me when they came in. Within a week she called me to let me know they were in & she had saved them in the back. Her name is Marlene and I really appreciate her help. I liked it because it carries almost everything. But sometimes customers are confused everytime there is an on-going sale because those stuffs marked "Buy One Free, Take one 50% off" are mixed up, making it a little bit infuriating to people with poor vision. I just don't know if it is the company's strategy to mislead customers on getting items that they don't want but are embarassed to put the items back to shelves. What is frustrating is that when there is a long line, only a handful of cashiers are available, thus making the place so congested at times. read more

Hate this place. Lot's of waiting going on here. Switched to CVS because our insurance changed. MISTAKE!!! It's so worth it to me to pay a little bit more and go back to my beloved Meiji Pharmacy where they truly take care of you. Here's my first experience at CVS... 30 minutes just to turn in my prescription. Another 15 mins for them to tell me they didn't have the medicine and had to order. 2 days later I go to pick-up the prescription. Another 15 mins in line. It's my turn and they can't find it. They can see on their computer that it was filled but don't know where it is. The clerk tries to get it filled again. She pulls the medicine and gives it to the pharmacist to verify and OH, she has the original. Eegads! Now they're telling me that what the doctor put on the prescription doesn't come in that form. Do I want them to call the dr to verify? Or do I want to take what they have? What I really want to do is scream and run out of there! Why couldn't they call me to tell me this? I know why... because they're service sucks. I tell them to verify, which to me is a no-brainer. Now I have to go back there again for a third time to try to get this prescription filled. This morning i had a very bad experienced and very embarrassing moment to this store..the clerk name RAHIL...please respect your customer,..I paid 20 dollars bill and told me that this money was fake and they need to call a police, Then WHY AND WHAT!! I told him that This money came from Wellsfargo Machine, and he is still insisting that the money is fake, he keep hold of the money and a man told him to return the money to us....I go to wells fargo and check the money(Torrance Branch), wells fargo told me that the 20 DOLLARS BILL I HAVE IS REAL AND NOT FAKE.(they test it)....Please respect your customer MR. RAHIL..I am American Citizens and i know my rights and privilege so you don't have the right to belittle your customer!!!And next time if you will say that the money is FAKE YOU SHOULD CHECK IT IN FRONT OF US..I WILL NEVER NEVER GO TO YOUR PLACE AGAIN!!! read more
