Sadly, I once would have recommended this pharmacy to anyone, but there are now two people - one new pharmacist and the other an older tech, who are rude and the antithesis of compassionate. I have had two devastating cancers with more complications than are imaginable, and I don't expect special service, but I do expect respect and professionalism. Neither of these two displays any of these qualities, and they should be removed from this pharmacy and seek employment away, far away, from health care where there is interaction with suffering people. The stories I have are indescribable. The rest of the staff is wonderful, and I hate to write a review like this, but I cannot take their behavior any longer. The head of the pharmacy is one of the kindest persons I have met in my 60 years of life, but he cannot seem to get these two bad apples straightened out. So, it's up to CVS. If you are healthy and just need a quick Lipitor, go there by all means. But if you are seriously ill and cannot afford stress and insults every time you encounter one of these two individuals, then find another pharmacy. Or speak up and compel CVS or the head of the pharmacy to make some changes. I've been asking for over 3 months, and nothing has improved with these two desperately sad and troubled employees, that delight in trying to impose their clearly profound unhappiness onto customers, who they work for and not the other way around, and who need and deserve respect and kindness, as we all do. I know there must be other very ill folks that just think they need to put up with it, but they don't. There are means to address these issues officially, which is my next step. I apologize to the good ones, because you really are great, but you are overshadowed by these unfortunate hires. It needs to be back to the way it used to be for the sake of everyone and especially the ones who need some extra attention, through no fault of their own. Thanks for listening to this. This is a wonderful Pharmacy, Jessica is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet as are all the people who work the pharmacy. They all go out of their way to help you with anything. Their job is not an easy one, doctors call patients call they handle such high demand for services. I've never seen anyone loose their cool. CVS on Church Rd and West Chester Pike is a wonderful experience from the Staff up front to the wonderful people in the pharmacy. Perhaps you were having a bad day to write such a mean review. I just needed to have my 2 cents to talk about Jessica and Larry the way you did. You have your opinion and that is fine. Good afternoon to Yelp Family!! I like the location of this CVS. There is a nice size parking lot. I like the setup of this CVS. It is a larger size CVS and there are steps when you enter. I like the fact that they have a self-checkout counter as well as a live cashier. I loaded money onto my Card and I bought my customary red peppermint puffs here. They were available, there were about six containers there. I checked out and then I remembered that we needed Pam, non-stick cooking spray and 3oz cups for the bathroom. No Pam in stock, I guess because people are staying home because of Social Distancing the Corona Virus and they are cooking at home. They didn't have the 3 oz cups either. Oh well, that was ok, since I purchased other cups, but my mom didn't want them. I will return, probably after Memorial Day!!! Have a blessed day and weekend!!! read more

There are some chains that consistently do a great job for me. Wawa is one and these folks are another. This location is just another example of a well-run shop. It has a nice big parking lot. I would not recommend using their pharmacy. They almost gave me someone else's prescription. Thank goodness I read the bag because the woman behind the counter did not. I went to the store to use a coupon recently and the item I wanted to use with my coupon they told me was on sale however the shelf was not marked. This happened with my cereal box as well. There's so little support in the pharmacy area. Way more business than a couple folks that work back there can do at anytime. Which means the phone rings forever when you have a question for the pharmacy and nobody answers it. Which means you're waiting very long lines especially now that everyone is getting vaccinations. It's not the fault of the people who are working there they are working very hard it's a problem about staffing appropriately. Additionally bought a lottery ticket from the machine that's right as you come in the door and I won $300! When I tried to take my voucher which I printed from the machine and bring it to the cashier I was told they don't do that. So how is it convenient for me to get a lottery ticket when I can't redeem my winnings of a modest amount? I would understand if I won thousands but this is $300. And so now it's not convenient for me to buy my lottery tickets there I should just wait until I go to Acme or another store that hopefully has the ability to pay out my winnings. read more

I don't know what Laura M. is talking about because this is the greatest pharmacy in the world. The pharmacy staff have become more like friends over the years, due to the way they treat you. They make an effort to learn every customers name and always greet you as soon as you come up to the counter. I have never seen a pharmacy staff member be anything but 100% professional and friendly to customers, even though some customers just can't be pleased. I have never written a review on Yelp but I saw the review above and just needed to let everyone know that the reviewer couldn't be more wrong. Everyone might be entitled to their own opinion but to say such negative things about Larry and Jess is completely giving out a false impression. Larry, Jess, Joi, and Paula go out of their way time and time again to make sure the customer has a pleasant experience. Undoubtedly, due to doctors offices and insurance companies, problems will come up with receiving a medication but this dedicated staff will do whatever it takes to resolve the issue. This is simply the best run pharmacy and friendliest employees you will ever find. Maybe the reviewer above just happened to read the tone of voice on the phone the wrong way, which can happen. Do not be persuaded in the least to look elsewhere. I give my word that the pharmacists and techs are one of a kind, in that they are the hardest working, most helpful, kindest, and friendly people you will ever come across. This cvs pharmacist both the tech and the manager are very very very unprofessional and rude. I just had the worst phone call experience of my life.called to see if they had flu shots available and the tech who answered the phone (jessica) was just so rude and obviously incompetent and Un happy about her job. She told me yes the flu shot was avail and asked me when I wanted to come in. So I told her around 1:30 and she has the audacity to tell me in such a condescending way " NO! I meant after dinner time!" Ok well if u want me to come in after a certain time then instead of wasting both of our time, you tell me when you are available. She continued to talk to me like I was her 5 year old child... so I had to ask her..how old ru? How old do u think I am that ur talking to me in that kind of tone???? Wow.. I got so angry by that point I asked her to talk to her manager and she asks me..."why?? " why???? You kidding me???? Wow and her managers Larry... not any better. He tells me he was across the room so he didn't hear the conversation but later on proceeds to say " well... she's the nicest person.. and I didn't hear her yelling at you?" No I did not say anything about her yelling, I said she talk to me with a attitude and talked to me as if I was her 5 year old child. Well anyways.... I could only imagine what senior citizens or people with limoted english goes through when they goto this location. I hope they don't treat other customers this way..so offended. Next time jessica.. don't assume the person you are speaking with is a mind reader.
