Due to COVID I was working remotely so the CVS near my office was out of the way. At first they were great, very friendly and filled my prescription quickly. Lately however that has not been my experience. The last two times I went for a refill my prescription was not ready and the person behind the counter had an attitude. I also have to call to ask for a refill; other places I've gone do the refills automatically and notify you when its ready. I've also heard from friends that the staff have been rude bordering on hostile im their interactions. I'm back to in-person work so I will be changing my preferred pharmacy back to CVS.

This location doesn't have photo or pharmacy, and is much, much smaller than an ordinary CVS store, having a small beauty section, and 6 small, tiny aisles, as well as a back freezer section. But, that's IT! Small checkout area, and overall, not a place I'd ever choose to shop (or really ever come back to, specifically since CVS stores in other malls are better.... and there are 3 other stores throughout the Town of Braintree, so this really isn't needed). Anyway, wouldn't suggest it unless you looking for a quick item or two and already in the South Shore Plaza (or waiting for an order at the new Red Robin down the mall corridor, like I was). 2 stars.

The only reason I'm not giving this place more stars is because the workers who were there at this pharmacy on Washington Street in Weymouth are very nice and polite. The corporate pricing practices are really out of control. People often run into a pharmacy to buy quick items that they might need, but that they might usually have purchased elsewhere such as at a grocery store, for instance, you might go in and grab a quart of milk, some cheese or a box of crackers. This is where CVS skewers the customer through the chest. I know this is a convenient store, but that doesn't mean that a company should frequently screw the customer for example there's no reason that a box of wheat thins, a small box at that, should cost $6.49!!! One might do better, price wise, buying snacks in the ripoff stores at an airport! Or perhaps at a concession stand at a baseball stadium! Don't expect any bargains. Don't expect ethical pricing practices.
