Update 3/13/21 6 years later, I can say without a doubt that this pharmacy is the absolute best I've been to. Besides the fact that they've made no mistakes in 6 years, they're always quick to refill my prescriptions and they contact me using all my preferred ways to let me know that my meds are ready for pickup. They take many different forms of insurance, and a couple of years ago I found out that the owners were friends with my late mother who passed away from cancer in 2016. My surgeon suggested I take my prescription to Eckerds where its great pharmacist took the time to write out the exact language my doctor needed to get me exactly what I needed. I gave that information to my doctor, he wrote a new prescription, and the pharmacy was able to fill it the way I needed it and, and my insurance company covered it. I think I've found a new pharmacy.

What can be said about this CVS? It's pretty much like many of the others. There's a full…read morepharmacy and a one hour photo at this location. They have all the basic (and then some) needs like the rest of the stores. I came by here to pick up my mom's prescriptions as well as some new string of lights for the Christmas tree. The people who work there are nice, and the place never seems particularly busy. This store pretty much covers all of Longboat Key, and as far as I know, the only option on the island. It's in a small complex of stores, including a Publix supermarket, a couple of clothing stores, and a liquor store, so it's not too hard to miss from the main road.
