Personalized, Professional, and Absolutely Trustworthy!…read more I had never dealt with a compounding pharmacy before, but Sarasota Compounding Pharmacy completely blew me away--in the best way possible. Brian, the pharmacist, went above and beyond multiple times to help get my prescription filled correctly. For some reason, my prescription wasn't written quite right the first time, which delayed things, but Brian didn't give up. He worked diligently with my doctor's office until everything was finally resolved. Then came time for a refill--and unfortunately, the doctor's office made the same mistake again. It turns out their system wasn't set up to handle the prescription in the exact format needed. Once again, Brian patiently worked with them until it was sorted out. That level of dedication is rare these days. Beyond Brian's incredible help, the customer service at Sarasota Compounding Pharmacy is truly personalized and thoughtful. When I picked up my medication, they asked if I was going straight home, since it needed to be refrigerated. I mentioned I had one quick errand to run, and they packed my prescription in a cold pack envelope with a mini ice pack--just to ensure it stayed at the proper temperature. That kind of care is practically unheard of! This experience has been a total eye-opener for me. I've had countless issues with larger chains like Publix giving me the wrong medication, but with Sarasota Compounding Pharmacy, I trust 100% that everything is accurate. What a pleasant (and refreshing!) surprise. Highly recommend!

After jumping through hoops this pharmacist asked myself, my pain doctor, and my pharmacist to do. After multiple calls where they kept acting like they would do it but could not remember who I was, they refused to refill my prescriptions for the one time I needed it done during the trip. Terrible service, rude pharmacists, and clearly zero communication internally. They don't care to help a person with chronic issues like Parkinson's. I would take your business elsewhere so they learn how hard our lives already are without a bad pharmacy waisting our time, and that of our doctors. Truly heartless. They ran me around for three months asking for all of this documentation then just said it's not allowed. Why not just say that when I first called!

I was referred to Dr. Lalani by my insurance company. I moved from another state so I was hesitant and worried about finding a good doctor for my son and I. I first called to make sure they were accepting new patients and to see when their next new patient appointment was. The person I spoke to was very helpful and understanding of how and why I needed an appointment as soon as possible and was able to get me in within a few days which I was very grateful for, especially since other offices didn't have anything for weeks out. In the plaza that they're located in has plenty of parking. Spacious, clean waiting area and restroom. You are able to check in from your car online or you can walk in and sign in. The front desk coordinator was friendly and helpful upon checking in and checking out. I was taken in at my appointment time and barely waited. Dr. Lalani's bed side manner was friendly yet professional and informative. The nurses were also very great, answered all my questions before seeing the doctor. Thankfully this was a well visit but glad to know that if I do/when get sick I will be in good hands.

My husband has now had two very poor experiences at this urgent care, both times being seen by…read moreTiffany Sullivan, FNP. The first visit was for a swollen, painful eyelid that appeared to be a stye. He was told it was eczema. He later saw his PCP, who confirmed that it was, in fact, a stye. He returned on a separate occasion after his ears had been clogged for about a week following snorkeling. He has a history of excessive earwax and felt that his ears were clogged. After examining him, Tiffany stated that he had zero earwax, that his eardrums were pearly white, and that he had a very obvious ear infection in his left ear with significant redness and swelling. This was despite the fact that he was experiencing no ear pain at all. He was prescribed antibiotic ear drops. The very next day, his hearing in his left ear was essentially gone, so he contacted his PCP. His doctor examined him and found that both ears were actually completely impacted with wax (to the point that his eardrums could not even be seen) and found no signs of an ear infection. His PCP removed all of the wax, and his symptoms resolved immediately. He could hear perfectly again, confirming that the ear drops were unnecessary. We understand that mistakes can happen, but having two separate conditions incorrectly diagnosed during two different visits was extremely concerning. What is especially frustrating is that both issues were correctly identified by his PCP shortly afterward. I do want to say that the staff here has always been very friendly and provided great customer service. Unfortunately, after these two experiences, we will not be returning and cannot recommend this urgent care to others. We hope the facility takes situations like this seriously and works to ensure patients receive accurate assessments and appropriate treatment.
