With so many Publix around, If the opportunity presents itself I can go a little further and try a different Publix for the first time. That was the case this time. My visit to this Publix got off to a slow start with only one sandwich maker helping customers while another was building a line of subs for what I assume was for online or delivery orders. The deli manager jumped in to help me, so now there were three people and still that line of subs, all working on the counter. Kind of fun to watch, but probably not the most efficient setup. The manager got my two subs built, doing almost as well as people that build subs every day all day long. With a friendly goodbye, I headed to the grocery checkout area to pay for my food. The custom Italian Sub looked a little beat up and soggy by the time I got it unwrapped, and it was very good and filling.

They're always very nice though. As for the pharmacy... Last night I asked if I could have my husband's meds filled, who had JUST gotten out of the hospital. She went back to ask and came back to the counter and says they don't have it. So I say okay that's fine I'll go to a different location. She then proceeds to yell at us as we walked away and says "just to let you know, no CVS will EVER carry that!"... like I was asking for something terrible. I asked her why and she just holds up her arms in a "I dunno" way. Extremely rude. Went to Walgreens after that.

Understanding its the holiday season and everyone is stressed and working alot of hours but at the end of the day- you are in customer service. If you're having that terrible of a day- call out and stay home. Everyone is going through something so there's just no excuse for being that hostile towards customers.
