This pharmacy is the worst. They don't answer the phones. Persistent lines. They are horribly understated.

Worst place I have EVER used. If I had had a choice I would have switched to a different pharmacy. So bad!

I would like to commend Walgreens for taking a high profile vacant retail space on The Hill and…read moreproviding a selection of goods that goes beyond duplication of what else is available in the immediate neighborhood. That being said, it is a real shame they have not followed the lead of a major national competitor and removed the sale of cigarettes from their supposed health oriented business plan. They have filled all three levels of this former bookstore facility. The basement level is the vitamin, supplements, first aid and quasi medical supplies that you would find in other chains, offering both national brands and private store brands. Plenty of sizes available which seems to be a failing of the big groceries and discount box stores. There is no prescription pharmacy at this location. Being adjacent to campus, they are serving a population that generally receives University healthcare which includes their own, and very affordable pharmacy. The main level still sells CU gear as before along with school supplies, tech accessories and gift items. There is a grocery section including refrigerated and freezer cases of convenience foods. The upper mezzanine level includes beauty, personal care and household cleaning supplies. On opening day, there was plenty of staff and checkouts on the main floor and the mezzanine. I doubt they will maintain so much staff unless they attract a larger number of customers. The prices are higher than you would find at a destination big box but if you sign up for rewards membership, it becomes far more competitive. This is true of all such health chains. Today my member savings was over $8. Get rid of the cigarettes and I will go up a star!

Parking immediately north of the building, but limited. Easy access from campus via a nearby pedestrian underpass and adjacent to a RTD stop (Broadway & College). Freezer and fridge contains a lot of beverage and food options. Any of your usual needs at a Walgreen's are available, but there is no pharmacy on-site. Clean and very organized. Thankful for Karen, who was so helpful when i was shopping on the top floor.

I have been getting my prescriptions filled here for a little more than 6 months and they are…read morepretty quick and easy to get ahold of. If my doc sends in a script, I have been able to get my meds refilled that same day most of the time. When I call, I do have to wait on hold for a minute or two but I barely notice because it isn't for very long at all. All the staff I've interacted with have been on the friendly side, and they pretty much always have my medication in stock. In my experience, they are actually willing to help, too, and don't treat patients like an inconvienience. I think there was a period of time where a lot of pharmacies were understaffed and I think the negative reviews of this Walgreens might be from that era- and therefore a little outdated. Overall I have been really pleased with my experience at this location!

When it reopened my prescription was no longer there. 3 weeks later it is still out of stock. It's a daily med that is crucial for my health. When I called to say I was down to 1 dose and ask when they would have it the young girl who answered the phone had a terrible, unhelpful, "I don't care" attitude. She seemed rather gleeful that I had a problem and made no effort to help me at all. She didn't even look in the fridge to see if it was there. She told me to call around to other pharmacies. I lost my temper because of her cavalier attitude; this girl has no business dealing with the public. Everyone else I have dealt with at that store has been lovely. When I called another Walgreens the woman who answered took a moment to search the computer for me and found 2 stores that have the med. -What the first girl should have done. I'm leaving 2 stars because the store is okay, but that girl has got to go.

This is the angriest, most consumer-unfriendly pharmacy that I have experienced across multiple…read morestates. My family and I recently moved here and have never had such hostile treatment from most everyone behind the counter. The bulk of the reviews echoes this same sentiment and I wonder why CVS doesn't address this very obvious problem of customer care and beyond that, the bottom line of treating repeat customers with such disdain. This pharmacy is inside Target and while waiting for an Rx to fill I asked the cashier where an item would be located and she screamed at me that she doesn't work for Target and I said, "but this IS target and isn't that something that you would be familiar with?" (peroxide) and she snarled at me and looked away. Today I received a phone call with no caller ID and when I answered the gal asked me for my birthday for a prescription and I said for what prescription and she said she cannot tell me for security reasons. I said I also didn't want to tell her my birthdate for security reasons as I didn't know if she was actually CVS since there was no caller id. She got very huffy and said, "Fine, if you don't want to talk to me, fine. Goodbye." In this day and age of phishing and fraud, what gives?? She could have been more understanding of id security, both ways. Very unhappy with this CVS and don't understand why there is so much hostility from the pharmacy. If the pharmacy dislikes the customers to this extent why work with people?

So far, so good. Our medical system has closed their in-clinic pharmacy for reasons we are unaware…read more We had been customers for almost 20 years, Top notch service, right at the doctors offices. The only issue for some was that they were only open "office hours" so, no nights, no weekends. For retirees like us, not a problem, but for refills when not already in the office, I assume difficult for many. Because our insurance covers RX through CVS Caremark, the easiest transfer for us was to this location, right in Boulder near a location we are frequently. Inside the Target with ample hours and ample parking. For Boulder, that's a real plus. The transfer of existing Rx went smoothly for me, not as so for my husband who did not start the process as early in the notification period. I needed a refill today and it went flawlessly. I called it in this morning as the transfer Rx not yet set up by me. I have now set this up with the online option to order refills after I made my purchase today. There was no line, though I had been told it was ready, it was not yet in the alpha organized boxes but it only took a couple minutes for that to happen. It is unfortunate that though our retirement benefits employer/insurer had stated that the new system would save us money it actually cost us a few dollars more. We ae very disappointed, but not the fault of this retail option. In the past we have received immunizations here when out medical office was backed up. It was fast, efficient, courteous , professional. We will continue to use this CVS.
