I've been coming to this CVS location on Atlantic Ave in Bell for years, and the staffing issue has never improved. Every single time I visit the pharmacy, there are 100+ people waiting and only two employees working. The line wraps around the store, kids are crying, elderly people are standing for long periods, and people who are clearly sick are forced to wait over an hour just to pick up medication. This is not the employees' fault -- they are clearly overworked and doing their best. This is a management issue. Two pharmacy staff members for this level of volume is unacceptable. CVS corporate needs to seriously address staffing at this location. Customers deserve basic efficiency and care, especially when it comes to healthcare and prescriptions. Until staffing improves, I cannot recommend this location. read more

Horrible Service, one of the guys on pickup where you scan your code to get your medication was really rude. I don't know his name but he acted like I should already know what to do. It was my first time here picking up medicine. Never again. I was told I should receive a message when it's ready so I was literally waiting for hours. (Which I understand everyone is trying to get their medicine for THEIR HEALTH) I received a dexa injection from my primary doctor and I was supposed to take my medication right after but it's been so delayed. On the app it showed that it was going to be ready tomorrow so I contacted them and told them that I needed it today because I was supposed to take it after my injection. They said it should be ready after 6:30pm (I received my injection at 12pm) so again I waited for 2 more hours only for them to message me that it's out of stock. Pharmacy is not open 24 hours, closes at 11:00PM, and closed for lunch 12:30-1:00PM. Opens at 8:00 AM. Huge lines, not enough employees means long wait times. Friendly when you finally get to a cashier or pharmacist, but try late evenings or early mornings. read more

On 8/19/25 at 6:40 PM, I came into CVS after receiving a call from the store manager earlier that day telling me I could finally pick up my refund for a gift card I purchased that had no balance on it. It took CVS two months just to reach this point. When I arrived, I was met with an extremely rude and unprofessional woman named Karina, who falsely claimed to be the manager. She said she "wasn't informed about the situation" and, without asking me a single question or contacting anyone for clarification, told me she simply "can't help me." She treated me as if I had done something wrong, even though I had been nothing but patient while waiting two months to fix CVS's mistake. This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I don't understand how CVS hires people like this to represent their stores. Customers deserve respect, professionalism, and at the very least a fair attempt to resolve issues--especially when the company is at fault. read more

I am so upset / disgusted by this I can't believe this was even sold here , me and my daughter came just to get a snack and it was expired. Since 2024 of September staff needs to be aware of checking. Expiration date this is not okay and btw my daughters stomachs be hurting since she ate the donut and threw up this is not okay at all !!! HORRIBLE!!! They're closed for an hour in the middle of the day for lunch but this isn't stated ANYWHERE. The least they can do is post that they're closed from during certain hours. After waiting for half an hour and getting a phone call, they can't find the medication AND they wanted me to make the line again to process insurance information. Today I had one of the most horrible worst experience at the Pharmacy. We got there at 12:15 and by 12:20 they were stopping anyone from getting in line because they were not taking any more customers to pick up their much needed medication.they close at 12:30 and have you come back until 1:00pm I don't understand why if you are already in line they make you leave and come back because they need to go to lunch. They are also so rude to everyone as they are pretty much yelling at you to leave and not to get in line because they are closing for lunch! Rude rude rude!! Please don't fall for their open 24/7 false advertisement. I came to this exact location today May 22,2025 at 2am and the store was closed , I thought they were restocking therefore I came back at 3am and the store was still closed. 4am and the store continues to be closed while you can visibly see 2 female store employees chitchatting with one another as if they don't have customers outside waiting to go in the store. My daughter has a neck fracture and I needed a soft neck brace support since the one the hospital provided ripped and she has been using the hard neck support. A couple here has been waiting since before 2am as stated by the couple and the employees have just been socializing. How disappointing CVS do better at training your staff or at hiring. Or simply update your store hours. read more

Came in for my Dogs prescription and the pharmacist is just terrible! She has not customer service skills! Freaken lags it just to put info in the computer like they are writing in an essay! Asian manager on 5/30/2023 at 11:15am very rude, no patience at all. I just informed him I will be doing 2 transactions and asked me why can't I just do 1. I am not sure if he was just having a bad day, but very rude. As soon as I told him if I had an rewards and if my coupon went through and said oh you are one of those. Couponers always demanding. I said look I don't know what you are talking about but I do have the $10 care pass I was wondering if I have it and he ignored me and applied it and that was it. A tech Magali looked at me and walked over to Ronald who proceeded to walk out and say it was against the law to photograph and I was breaking HIPPA Law, then he said he was going to call the police, and then Maria another tech started yelling at me and said it was against the law and I needed to erase whatever I had on my phone and she needed to get my phone, I said no and that now I was going to record, I raised my phone to record her and she came out from the back of the counter towards me to try to take my phone away, and she stopped after people told her she was out of control, I then told her I was going to call the police, she wanted me to give her my name and I said not til the cops get here and she said "don't worry I will get it when you pick up your Medicines" They even called all the staff from the front, and they were actually helpful as I explained I was not filming, etc. they said it will be best to call the RX manager in the morning, I am now transferring my whole prescription as now I do not feel safe picking up my RX from this location, the RX staff there has always been rude and lazy, the line was super long and these 3 Techs, RONALD, MAGALI, and Maria were chatting away, they have no Idea of how to deescalate the situation, specially Maria demanding I give her my phone so she can make sure I have not taken photos, and they were going to call the police on me. etc. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST MOST Embarrassing visit to this location ever! Came to print out pictures and selected the option to print in seconds. (12 pictures, nothing crazy, but needed them asap). When I went to the register your employee named Ronnie said I had to come back in an hour as this option isn't available. Maybe this should be posted somewhere as it's false advertisement. With this CVS, you need to learn when to go because they get a long line with only one register open ALOT. Morning, Noon and Night. It's always packs. There have been few times that I've experienced light traffic but with the COVID thing, I'm surprised they haven't added more cashier's to get rid of this traffic. It's very unsettling. read more

If I could give a minus zero star, I would. We stopped coming here for a bit of time. No specific reason although the machines for coupons and price checkers never work. I stopped and asked a lady which I know is been working there for while in a nice way and first thing she said.."they don't work" very careless.. so my response..."it's always been like that right?" ... To which she answers "well they just don't work".. My response .. sure and your attitude is just careless right? So I looked for someone who is in charge only to make the comment... I found a "lady" fixing some batteries... And asked her who is in charge, she said Me and someone else.... Why? With the same attitude of the other individual...I make my face of... Really? And she said what day you need... And excuse me! while she was putting some batteries away ( I guess I was in her way) No thanks, nothing from you.. and walked away, she starts laughing...I just go back and ask for her name... Carina...I assume... We did ask for a restroom. Totally understandable if there is no public restroom sign but we have used it in the past. With the same attitude Rosa, the first lady just said they're out of service. The problem is not the restroom the problem is not the machines not working the problem is not having a prescription ready when it's supposed to be ready because they called us to let us know that the prescription was ready and apparently one of the medications is not covered by the insurance which they never said anything we come and make a big line waiting for the medication to be picked up and they said it's not ready, it's the fact that I don't know who has the power to hire these people who have no sense of customer service who have no great attitude towards the person that is being a client and purchasing items from your store Maybe having a bad day maybe sick these people don't care they might have some experience or lots of experience working for CVS and it seems like they don't like their job. It is not the first time that we experience bad customer service with this lady ( the first one) I hope I get her name right her name is Rosa if I'm not mistaken and I really hope that something gets done. You might just lose a customer which it's nothing major we want to make sure that someone reads this which is going to go to CVS and to the general manager just to make sure that you train your people to at least be nice. Just train your people right. That's it! Not everyone is bad of course I'm not generalizing. Just wanted to share my last experience tonight at this location.
