I'll start by saying most CVS pharmacies are awful in my experience. The pharmacy manager here is the exception. She is great and consistently follows up on calls. The staff there is great too. I drive an extra 30 minutes to come here simply because they are friendly (unlike many other locations). Lines can get long but not the pharmacies fault. read more

BEWARE OF CVS PHARMACY/CVS HEALTH AND MARGIE MULQUEEN CVS made racial insults to me. CVS maliciously destroyed my invaluable, and irreplaceable wildlife photos from 1974. CVS's Manager, Margie Mulqueen has obstructed justice by denying both the police and my review of their videos, which proved which employee is guilty of theft. CVS refused any communication with me despite my six complaints. CVS refused to reprimand any of their employees regarding both racial insults and theft. With CVS, there is neither justice nor accountability. I overheard their employee made a racial insult about me to three other employees, and a customer. Then she or another employee stole my irreplaceable film, that was supposed to be sent for processing. Their manager Maggie Mulqueen, refused to disclose the name of the employee seen on their videotape, either to me or to Cpl. Singh, of the Baltimore County Police. She refused to even discipline the CVS employee. CVS ignored my four complaints. There are no consequences or accountability for CVS employees making racial insults, and stealing. Their refusal to provide the name of their employee is an obstruction of justice, designed to prevent me from taking legal action. That is very sad! I entrusted my prized slides to them for development. I believe that the CVS employee who made racial insults intentionally disposed my property. Since this is stealing, it is a crime. CVS has the videos, but refused to tell me the name of their employee. Their manager, Margie Mulqueen is guilty of a cover-up to a theft and crime. On October 5, 2023, I took my slides and print negatives to the CVS at 900 Edmondson Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21228, store 4602. Their photo assistant, Virginia told me they would take 2 or 3 weeks for processing them to a disc. Three weeks, I finally spoke to Virginia. She informed me that my property was stolen by an employee, as only an employee had access to my photos. In the next three weeks, I called three times to CVS so-called customer service. Each time, I was promised that a CVS district manager would call me. Of course, nobody ever contacted me. The last call, I demanded a formal case number, which is S9843498. Since CVS corporate would not help me, I tried calling the store manager, Margie Mulqueen. She admitted in her email to me that she has store photos, and could find out which employee took my photos. I even offered her a $100 reward/finder's fee for the return om my slides and negatives, with no questions asked. She called me two days later, said she saw the videos in front of both the pharmacy and the photo department, and asked what I wanted. I said I wanted the employees' name. She asked why. I said if CVS was going to take no action in my behalf, I would take legal action. She then said she would refuse to share the employees' name with me. Margie Mulqueen is guilty of obstructing justice and participating in a cover-up designed to protect her employee. These were my best wildlife slides dating from 1975 that I wanted to make prints of. They included Grizzly Bears, Black Bears, Mountain Sheep, Rattlesnakes, etc. There is no amount of money or compensation that can repay me for my losses. I only wanted my property that I had entrusted to CVS to be returned, and all employees involved in this theft to be accountable. I made a complaint with the Baltimore County Police Department Cpl. Singh visited CVS a number of times. Cpl. Singh was lied to, and CVS refused to provide their tapes to him indicating who stole my film. I made a complaint to the Maryland Attorney General's Office of Consumer Protection. CVS replied that they "made all reasonable attempts to provide a satisfactory outcome. I have had to get my scripts there for about 5 yrs . It is close to me but my Medicare insists . I am not pleased , they are always overcrowded and lines in the pharmacy . The pharmacy staff shows no empathy nor professionalism. When they are out of a medication, they do not attempt to contact other CVS Pharmacies in the area to see if anyone has it. I find it difficult to believe that no pharmacy at all has a common medication. The location is often cluttered in the aisles, and they apparently aren't the cleanest store in the area. The carpeting near the pharmacy is filthy, with what looks like phlegm and food waste stains. Of course the area around the pharmacy is not the safest, but their attitude towards the customer is extremely unprofessional. I may switch to Walgreens soon. I would give no stars if I could, but Yelp won't let me. read more

The elderly lady that works in the front I don't know her name but she has some kind of disability, she is there ALL the time .. Very often I have tried to pick up my UPS packages, so I have to reach to her , she acts like she is doing a big favor and makes you wait and yells if you don't answer right away,, You may have to apologize for bothering her . I'm a customer and a neighbor of this CVS store. I want to give Gail, the store manager, a full FIVE star, for her professionalism and care in helping solve a problem for me. I had reported repeatedly to the store that the trees along the fence encroached over my house, asking the store to trim them. But over two years, the staff did not take action using various excuses. A few weeks ago I met Gail in the store and told her the story. She agreed to check into the issue, and last Friday a crew contractors got the job done! The male pharmacist was rude/angry when I called to ask if it was possible to get my prescription by a certain time. (I mistakenly thought the closing time of the whole store was the closing time of the pharmacy.) My husband overheard and took over the convo because the pharmacist was that condescending and I didn't know what to say. He was rude the next couple of times we had to talk to him as well. This is the closest pharmacy, but I will never get a prescription here again. I'd rather drive a little further for a pharmacy that is faster, open 24/7 and has way better customer service. read more

Mr. Fabrice Djoukam is so helpful and understanding and really went above and beyond to help me (and all others) today and as usual. 16/10 customer service. This was, is, and will always definitely be my home pharmacy/CVS. I have been going on to this pharmacy (900 Edmondson Ave, Baltimore, MD, 21228), since 07/2019. That being said, even if you are a patient with them for 2-years, or 2-minutes; you will get sane level of respect, professional-courtesy, and great service here. This is the best pharmacy. Yes, lines can be a bit longer at certain time of a day, which clearly indicates that they do their job in an accurate, systematic, and accurate manner. And it goes by very fast. This used to be my go to cvs store, but lately I have noticed that the shelves are bare and it's not very clean in the store. I always expect to wait 15+ min in the pharmacy line, and I didn't receive my scheduled booster shot until 2 hours after my original appointment time. In the past three months an excellent pharmacy has gone from First to Worst. A computer terminal has not been repaired for months, the number of employees is obviously cut to the bare bones and there is no use in even trying to reach the pharmacy by phone . . . NO ONE PICKS UP! ! ! They are inefficient beyond belief and only have me as a customer right now out of waiting for the season to pass so I can transfer my prescriptions elsewhere . . . and I encourage others to do so. At age 74, waiting in line OVER 1/2 hour is not an option, nor so for my wife who is also trapped by CVS at this time. CVS- - - shame on you! Under staffed. Un friendly staff. Even manager is rude. No customer service skills whatsoever. If they happen to get a good employee they don't last long. Right now in the pharmacy we have Shawn. He is excellent. Even IF he made mistakes (which he doesn't) his customer service skills are spot on. Since Tessa has been out on maternity leave there hasn't been a decent pharmacist. If I could give less than 1 star, I would! The pharmacist (I think her name is Julie) is nasty and treats patients like they're bothering her by coming to fill prescriptions. They knowingly don't have meds in stock and act like you did something wrong when you complain that you can't get your meds on time because of their poor planning!! My insurance forces us to fill at CVS but every month I get more and more frustrated and think about changing to another CVS. read more

I don't usually write reviews about pharmacies but the experience that I had here was so bad that I feel that I need to say something. The Edmondson Avenue CVS pharmacy is the closest CVS pharmacy to our home, actually it's on the same street just a few blocks away. My current health insurance has CVS pharmacy coverage meaning that I now have to use CVS pharmacy or the CVS mail order service. I called the Edmondson CVS for a refill as I am now at home (was out of the area for several months) and I can't believe how unprofessional and rude the person that I talked to was. She told me that she couldn't help me because my prescription was "tied" to another CVS pharmacy (in Ellicott City a few miles away). She said it was up to me to get the other CVS to get the prescription to them. I told her that I am involved in the healthcare field and that I know that isn't true at all, and that I have never had a pharmacy refuse to help me fill a prescription ... especially not when both pharmacies involved were both the same brand. I got a bit more run around from the person and I had heard enough. I ended the call and then called the other CVS pharmacy where I was told that me prescription was "tied" and the person that I talked to there said that she hears all the time stories about unprofessional stuff at the Edmondson CVS location. CVS - the employees at you Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville location are out of control. The are acting in an unprofessional manner and that isn't ok in medicine or pharmacy. You need to take a look at this place and clean it up, retrain the people that work here or replace them. read more

The Pharmacy service is indifferent and incompetent. They are quick to blame the Dr's and insurance companies for their mistakes. When that doesn't work they tell you the limits of their "system". This is s well located CVS with ample parking and typically well stocked. This review and reason for 3 stars is due to the RX staff. With only one exception, every time I have had to drop off or pick up a prescription I have been met with apathetic or surly associates. Today was no different and finally warranted saying something. I was quickly acknowledged by one of the pharmacists and then a heavy set female who looked more than just a little bored/disgusted came over to assist me. She barely looked or spoke to me through the entire process to the point I felt like I was doing her job for her. During the checkout process, other than to tell me the final price, she said nothing nor looked up from the register. She took the receipt from the register, held it to my prescription, stuck her hand out and in the most bored/forced/and barely audible tone said "Have a nice day." as she turned away. Maybe this wouldn't bother most people but it just felt rude and like I was being dismissed. No, "Do you have any questions for the pharmacist?" or anything. Apparently she didn't want to be there and I wished she wasn't either. The one exception is a tall young man who even though he rarely smiles either, does switch to being courteous when helping customers. Smiling within reason and checking to see if the customer has any issues or questions. read more

I called to see if they could fill my son's prescription because we were having trouble finding his medication. They refused to tell me if they had the drug in stock, and that I would have to physically bring the prescription to their store to find out, citing CVS Policy. Seriously? Im supposed to drive 20 minutes and they may not have it, but they can't tell me that? Ridiculous! You just lost my business permanently. read more

Unreliable pharmacy. The staff is excellent but the management is exceedingly poor. Way too often, they don't have my medication when promised. This last time was ridiculous! I dropped my Rx on Saturday. They didn't have it, so the clerk said they would order it on Monday, and have it Tuesday. On Tuesday, they didn't have it because the person authorized to place the order was on maternity leave! I would think they had time to address that situation. Management failure! I am never spending another cent in that store. Don't go there if your time is important to you. I am writing this from the third pharmacy I visited tonight. They have it, so I'm waiting. read more
