Four people working here today, all of which are senior citizens.. all the way to the store manager on duty. This made for a terrible experience today because all four of them move at a snail's pace and I don't think any of them know how to use electronics because every customer had a transaction issue. This is probably the largest CVS I've ever been too and it was probably also the first time I've seen so many Asians shop inside a CVS as well. The place is kept pretty well, they seem to have a lot of extra items you may not find at other smaller locations. The have a large pharmacy and also seem to be open 24 hours which is a rarity. The pharmacists will gladly offer up any advice on the health-care products, according to my friend. read more

This CVS is thee best because it's 24 HR !! Not many CVS's are open 24/7 and I really appreciate this store incase of emergency items at night or if there are people that want to go after 11pm. It is a huge store and it's way better than to go to a 711 late at night because it isn't guaranteed that it'll have items you need! Even though this CVS is pretty far it's probably the first thing that would pop up in my head if I had an emergency for lets say, back pains or anything to cure a physical condition. I love this CVS and it doesn't give a dangerous or uncomfortable vibe when you walk into the store late at night. I love that! I would go to this store a lot more if I lived close to it. read more

This CVS is one of my best place to go late night because it opens 24/7. I usaully go here for toothpaste, gel, shampoo and other crap.

The biggest CVS I have ever seen. Including crafts and yarn! Whoa! The parking lot was spacious so I am a fan!

I cannot believe I waited 4 hours to refill my prescription, which would have taken less than 20 minutes if I went to any other pharmacy. Unbelievable. The lines were ridiculously long and I saw people come and leave while I'm just sitting there playing on my phone and waiting for them to call my name. I went there very late at night to the pharmacy to pick up pain killers I was perscribed after taking my wisdom teeth out. There was only 2 people working and there was at least 7 people in the drop off and 5 in the pick up window. Their service was extremely slow and might I remind you, this was a saturday night. This is the worst pharmacy I've been to in terms of timing. Maybe it's Saturday night but the pharm and pharm tech might as well be Jeff and Jim from dumb and dumber. I went here at 10:00pm to pick up an order that I called an hour and a half prior and they said 20 mins. So I literally walked around while the pharm gets sidetracked with other duties and after heading out to eat and waiting again - I finally got the medication at MIDNIGHT. I haven't used the pharmacy so I cannot comment on that. This store is huge for a drugstore, carries more than what u r looking for. I go in there for 1 item but end up walking around 'cause of the deals. It's different type of shopaholic, but it works. It's open 24hrs, so it makes my last minute errands (aka- things I forgot to do in the daytime) done quicker-so I don't need to do it the following day. The cashier staff is nice, it's different to find a "free" staff on the floor to ask questions, because late night they r busy restock the shelves for day time shoppers-the ppl that do not forgot, like me. Appreciate the 24-hour pharmacy which is the only reason I come here from Pasadena. The front store does not have a wide variety of items like Target and is definitely overpriced. They send out coupons by email but they are mostly useless. The coupons cannot be used for purchasing prescriptions which sucks. read more

The pharmacy in this place is legendary. The lines are ridiculous. One for drop off. One for pick up. Both impossibly long. I went there after an urgent care visit only to see my condition worsen during the 1.5hour wait for a basic antibiotic readily available and unrestricted. This place deserves a 0 star! I was quoted for a prescription then when I picked it up I was quoted double because they did not have a the quantity that was ordered! They told me that they were giving me a bigger quantity but that it will go bad so I will have to throw it away. They did not offer a discount for their mistake and made us wait again after waiting for ONE hour. Worst CVS ever, the cashier wore glasses work on 6/18/18 evening shift was the worst. I printed a coupon from their red box and bought $40 stuff, tried to use the $10 off coupon showing on their ad, cashier scanned and threw back to me saying it won't scan and she is not going to honor it. I told her to check her ad and she is not willing to do it, then later on, Asian manager stands next to her simply said the coupon doesn't match the CVS card, I got confused and told her I just printed from the red box. Cashier was so rude started to yell: it is not the correct card without even checking the number, she kept repeating herself with two eyeballs already popped out, I told her to calm down and she got frustrated. unprofessional customer services with anger issue. CVS need to retrain the employees and the manager. I went to another CVS down the road, the male cashier scanned the coupon without any problems. I just wondering if he other female cashier knows what she is doing. read more

Been coming here for over a year and a half. Hands down... AWEFUL!!! The worst. This place is packed most of the time. The Chinese pharmacists are rude, condescending and patronizing. The techs help but the overall service sucks. They always seem to be the short staff making for huge lines. Look at the post others have replied with pictures. Just plain awful!!! I will usually grab a drink or snack from inside the store bc I know that every time I set foot in that door, it's like every good breakfast place in town on a weekend morning... Packed with a long wait... Roughly 40 min-2hrs. If at all possible, turn away from this CVS store. I'm an RN 16 years... It's all getting worse. read more

This place has a unique layout that's different from other CVS's. It's almost like they rented two adjacent store spaces and just mashed them together, knocking out only part of the middle dividing wall. But, the end result is a very large floor space to house lots of merchandise. I like that it's open 24 hours, including the pharmacy. There's a large selection of miscellaneous items, ranging from gardening items and toys on the left of the store to antacid and hairspray on the right side. They always seem to be understaffed at the registers, though. The pharmacy can be a zoo, as well. Forget about it if you need to find someone to help you locate an item.---You'll be waiting longer than you care to. It's my go to place in the middle of the night or in a pinch if I don't have time to run to my favorite staple stores. read more

The minute clinic system and their customer service is a joke. And one of your minute clinic staff at 1401 s Baldwin Arcadia has terrible attitude towards customers. I made a reservation for December 31 in the pm for my son's flu shot. And I have an email confirming the appointment. When we got there on time there's a sign that the clinic has been closed. A women walked out the clinic and I was trying to get a clarification of what's going on, and she just kept walking and talking without stopping or slowing down to talk to me. She said she's off and the holiday schedule is different. She asked me if I want just complain to the clinic headquarter. She didn't even make an effort to apologize or say anything to make me feel better. I understand it's holiday season and I understand if you have a different schedule, if that's the case, then don't let me make a reservation, confirm that I have a reservation, then when I show up didn't even make the slightest effort to explain that there might be a mistake. I like their pharmacy staff but what a horrible experience I just had with the minute clinic. read more

Worst experience ever. My daughter just got out of ER and needed some important medicine. The pharmacy was out of the medicine, has been out of the medicine for weeks and did not bother telling anyone. The hospital did not get a call, I did not get a call, they just excepted the prescription for a narcotic and did not let anyone know what there was an issue. Then when I went to pick it up they said I would have to go back and talk to the doctor directly myself because I cannot transfer it or do anything else about it.. I came to pick up the meds and they definitely had a bad attitude about it. Wilson, the pharmacist acted like he couldn't care less. He told me they were calling to get it switched but they also claimed they were not able to reach anyone, but every time I called the hospital I got through. Your complete lack of compassion for my daughter and her situation is completely unacceptable. The fact that this place is open 24 hours is the only good thing about it. So disappointed right now. Are used to trust CVS but no longer. I was finally able to reach the doctor myself and got them to send it to a different pharmacy, with absolutely no help from CVS. The fact that they're willing to put my daughters life at stake so nonchalantly is definitely cause for concern. Somebody definitely should talk to Wilson about how he handles his customers and how he fixes situations when there are emergencies. read more

One of the older Caucasian employee in this store has a bad attitude. I was checking out at 11:30pm and he was rushing me that I hadn't made my decision on which items to get and he called another customer to come and take over my spot to check out first. I stopped him and he seemed impatient that I had asked him to void certain items I didn't want. This is a 24 hours store, it makes you think that it is closing at midnight since this employee apparently wants to be done for the day. I think management level of this store need to pay attention to this matter. This is not just my sole complaint. Look at some previous comments, other customers also have similar experience. Please hire employees according to their capability. If they are of older age and will get tired at night, don't assign them night shift, let them stay home and sleep. It only makes the customer service even worst if employee gets agitated or lazy at night, although it is 24 hours open. read more

I used to go to the other CVS locates on Foothill and Fifth Ave in Monrovia. I only go there because is near where I live. However, they close extremely early...like 10pm daily. As a night cat shopper, it's not quite convenient for me. Last weekend, as I was eating dinner with a friend in an Arcadia plaza located on Baldwin Ave, I realized that there was a CVS there just as well. It was bigger than the one that I usually go on Foothill, but most of all, it opens 24 hours!!! Considering where I live, this CVS is little bit farther for me than the one on Foothill. But, 1 min drive vs. 6 min drive is really not that big of deal. Last night, I finally did my first grocery shopping at the Baldwin Arcadia CVS "around 1am". Since it opens 24/7, I certainly did not have to rush thru the shopping process. I took my time picking out all the stuff that I need (such as milk, cereal, soda, chips, tv dinner, wine...) & also chilled out a bit at the magazine aisle. In addition, I even found some daily use products (like office supply, hairspray, cologne, detergent...) with brands that I did not see in the other store location. Last but not least, I didn't have to wait in any type of line (which I hate) during the check out....since it was near 2am in the morning....lol. Really had a good experience there & will definitely go there more often from now on. read more

This review is strictly based on the PHOTO DEPARTMENT! I would never ever bash a place but god dam this place deserves it!! If I could give this place negative stars I WOULD!! Earlier this month I had dropped off 10 rolls of film to be developed; aware of the fact that most places don't do in store development anymore, I knew the prices would be high. I asked the the lady that works at the department, Cindy & Ana, how expensive is it for for rolls & they told me about $7-$9 for rolls of 24-28. Two weeks later I show up to pick up ALL of my 10 rolls only to find out somehow 2 were still "missing". Then I was rang up, my total was $120 for 8 rolls, approximately $12-$13 a roll! I was livid because the only reason I didn't just do same day development elsewhere because it was roughly around this price ($12-$13). So where do I begin?? Okay, the employees first of all were very rude when I was picking my photos up, they questioned me & were pretty much assuming that I was lying about dropping off all of the 10 rolls, they told me one thing about the prices & OBVIOUSLY that wasn't accurate. Cindy, Anna, & apparently the store manager Jose were all not one bit helpful with explaining the situation that was occurring with my 2 missing rolls. Then I was told some bullshit that my film would be in 2 days later etc. Calling back every single day since this happened they have all managed to tell me the same crap, that they haven't been able to track my film, just call back the next day. Just about an hour ago I called again, the same bullshit story. Now they tell me that my film just suddenly disappeared into thin air & they have no idea where it is!? How am I not suppose to be upset over this!?! Anyone that shots with film understands that it's not a cheap hobby, film is expensive to buy & to develop is just as expensive!! They have not once apologized for their mistakes & their absolute bad attitude or carelessness! NEVER NEVER will I go to the CVS; not that it matters but it's just absolutely absurd that these employees are being so rude & aren't doing much to make this situation better. read more

I know why they had to downsize the store. They need a new manager who knows how to manage. They screwed up my prescription at least 3 times. It's my own fault for coming back. First time they said it was ready and when I came to pick up it was not. Most of the ladies working the pharmacy are extremely rude. Second time the pharmacist wrote the wrong dosage on my meds. I remember asking bc I saw the doctors prescription and it said twice a day. They put down once every two days. I even asked the lady when I picked up and she said no it's once every two days. I called the doctor and cvs was wrong. People could die from wrong dosage. Third time doctor called in and faxed in my meds with confirmation. After waiting for 20 mins at pick up they said nothing was in and go wait in the drop off line. I went and they said nothing. Finally my doctor called them and I got my meds. So if you want a guaranteed screw up go here. Cvs management if you rare reading this you need a new manager in this store before you get hit with a malpractice lawsuit! read more

I have been using this CVS for years to fill my prescriptions. Just recently I have had problems with getting my "automatic" refills. When I was ready for my 2nd of 3 refills, I hadn't gotten a call from the pharmacy. I went there to check. The person who entered the first didn't activate the automatic refill process. I was getting low again and got a call telling me my prescription would be ready after 12pm the next day. I went after 12pm the next day and was told I couldn't get another refill until April 24. I tried to explain that it couldn't be right, but the person who was helping me made it clear it was not her concern. I called my doctor and was told there was a mistake. I called again and spoke to the supervisor. He said the prescription was cancelled because I didn't pick it up. I told him I came the day I was told it would be ready. Apparently, he was not at all concerned. They have never had friendly staff, but this was ridiculous. read more

after visiting urgent care at KP i went to cvs (only choice) to fill three prescriptions - one prescription the cashier had a question and went to the pharmacist (caucasian middle age) in front of me she changed the prescription in front of me without telling what she was doing, not feeling well, i decided to discuss this with her when all of my prescriptions were filled. i waited 10 minutes for her and she never came so i left. this is the second time that i find cvs 'pharmacists' too busy to talk to clients. need to stop going there. otherwise staff was great. read more

People who work at CVS (1401 S Baldwin Ave Arcadia, CA 91007) are overworked. They make you wait forever, either in pick up line or drop off line. Also, if you have questions regrading the medicine, good luck, because they will ask you to wait in another line, that could be another 15 mins. I tried to call the pharmacy to ask questions before I come in to avoid the line, they always say "Please hold". One time I waited for 15 mins. After a couple of times waiting and complaining, I was hoping they can improve their customer service, but they did not. I decided to leave the CVS pharmacy. Yes. it is 24 hours, but unless I need the medicine right away, I am going to transfer my medicine to another pharmacy. So far I like the Sam's pharmacy in El monte. People who work there are very friendly and professional. They remember customer's names. Also, the price is very good comparing to CVS. So do whatever you can to avoid CVS pharmacy. They need to learn how to treat customers right! read more
