We've been coming to camden for years but only recently tried Cuzzy's. We were super happy to discover they had excellent pub style food. The burgers, salad, and chowder were all excellent. For some reason this place is not as popular as Cappy's which is just down the street. This place is less expensive and the food is far better quality. read more

Have to agree with the other reviewer as to the lack of staff. We seated ourselves as the sign advertised and waited...and waited. The waitress shot us glances almost seemingly annoyed that we made her day busier than it already was. After 15 or 20 minutes we were given water and menus and then waited again. Another 10 minutes or so passed when she came over and said the kitchen was slammed so if we wanted food it would be at least an hour. Food may be good but we'll never know. My wife and I left Portland disgusted after paying $40 for a lunch that consisted mostly of salad greens and a watery soup. After reading too many posted "market price" lobster dinners, we drove to Camden and found Cuzzies. We both had 2 boiled lobster dinners that included French fries and corn on the cob. Even with drinks our total did not break our budget. Our waitress was attentive even though she was working the room alone The pub atmosphere was warm, relaxing and casual. I have no idea why this place has less than 4 stars - we were in Camden for the week and enjoyed a great lunch here. it's pub like food was a great change for us. we came back for drinks another night as well. wait staff was friendly, locals and out of town folks all seemed happy with their meals, and we certainly enjoyed our lunch. we had a mix of appetizers, incredibly fresh salads, and I enjoyed the chowder - all delicious and filling - drinks specials were fantastic and the atmosphere, comfortable. read more

We went there to eat while on vacation and received or should I say didn't receive horrible service. The hostess seated us and we sat there and the waitress walked by and eventually a group came in that made a reservation so the waitress comes by to tell us she will take our order after the group that made reservations. We explained to the waitress that we had been sitting there for a while before the group came in and that our daughter is diabetic and she said that made reservations I am taking there order first. With her attitude and lack of respect I hope she is forced into another career. read more

We had a party of about 30 people that needed a place to have lunch between morning and afternoon events. We had no reservation. We were seated immediately, ordered off the menu, had a GREAT waitress who did not confuse either a drink or food order and served us with a smile and sense of humor. We have eaten here several times now!!! I love there sweet heat chicken wings!!! Nice and crispy and great flavor!! We have had several pizzas here as well, and they are great, crispy crust, huge pepperonis, and some of the best sausage I have ever had!! Service is always great, friendly and attentive!!! Cheap eats option in Camden. They will cook your lobster (bring your own love lobster) for a buck which is a cool deal. Typical bar food and ambiance. A local vibe but worth a shot for lunch or dinner. read more

Cuzzy's was a great place for a cozy dinner with my family! We were seated very quickly and our waitress was very friendly. She was more than patient about answering questions about the menu. Our son had wanted lobster mac and cheese since we began our vacation and he picked a great place to order it! It was amazing! We had a lobster dinner for under $17.00 and it was good too. My daughter who is more of a steak girl enjoyed her steak quesadilla and my wife had an excellent lobster roll. It was warm in the restaurant because it was unusually hot that day and one of the workers actually brought a fan out to the dining area to cool everyone off! The service was super fast! Prices were really good too. If we were in town for more than just two days we would probably eat here again! read more

Italian sausage poor boy with onion rings. Sweet, not hot sausage which was good. Onion rings were GREAT. Usually disappointed with undercooked, cakey and greasy rings. Not so with these. Being new to the area, we decided to try Cuzzy's tonight. Of all the places we have experienced so far, this was by far the WORST. From the moment my husband called to place a pick up order, the girl was incredibly rude and incompetent. Phone etiquette was none existent. She stated it would be 20 minutes from the time we placed our order (it was placed at 9:07pm). When we arrived, my husband went inside to check on it seeing as it had been almost 20 minutes. The same girl told him they "fudged up" and it would be longer. Mind you- there was only 2 people at the bar and our order was their only order. My husband is a restaurant manager and he observed that they hadn't even started our order!! Mine was chicken sandwich with panko (not grilled) and no lettuce, my husband got the philly with onion rings. My chicken sandwich was completely wrong and when I called to tell them, the SAME girl told me "well you should check your order before leaving." We will NOT be coming back because there are plenty of other places in this area that care about customer service and satisfaction. read more

I did not have the pleasure of dinning at Cuzzy's. However, during a 2 night stay in Camden with a group of 6 people we spent several hours there both nights. We had a lot of fun with the Karaoke on Friday night that was being aired on the radio. Our bartenders were great and attentive; so I'm confused about the comments of service. I would easily recommend this place for an evening of entertainment and will go back when I'm in Camden. read more

Awful service! We waited an hour to be served and another hour to get the bill. If they were busy I'd understand, however, the place was dead most of the time just us and another table. The food was mediocre at best. Waitress ran around doing a lot of nothing as well. No apology for the length it took for service As the waitress avoided our table. I had to take my credit card to her in order to even see a bill. My tip should've been "give better service" instead of the 5% that I gave her. Needless to say I was not impressed. read more

The food here is actually pretty good, but the service is horrible. One weekend afternoon, my family was looking for a place to have lunch, and Cappy's had a 40 minute wait, so we went across the street to Cuzzy's. There were only about 2 tables of people in the restaurant, but when we asked to be seated, the hostess said we had to wait. It was raining, so we decided to stay. After we were seated, we were ignored for about 20 minutes. There was one waitress, who seemed to be in training, and the hostess, who also tended bar. The hostess wasn't exactly friendly, except when she chatted with people at the bar instead of paying attention to the customers who were ordering food. An older couple was seated after us and ended up complaining to the manager/owner and getting their meal comped due to horrible service. If you don't mind sitting around for a while, their caesar salad, chowders, and fried shrimp platter are all good choices. read more

we stopped in for a light dinner and drinks and was very surprised. the place is very welcoming with a few families at tables. cindy the bartender couldn't do enough for us. She made great drinks and recommended food choices. we ended up splitting the fish and chips with onion rings and couldn't finish it all! I've eaten haddock all my life but this was the best! it had 2 huge beer battered pieces sweet, thick, and juicy. best ever!!!!! read more
