Stopped in Cutters because it was conveni located on the way to Dutch Island. I haven't been there for 6 months or so but it was still as good as I remember it. Outstanding cookies, treats, Key Lime Pie and other items. The coffee was good. Can't go wrong with any of the items. I have to admit, the first time that I visited Cutter's Point Coffee, I was disappointed. The cinnamon roll I ordered was stale and even microwaving it for two minutes did little to improve the taste. However, I'm glad that I went today to give them another try. It was more than likely an off day that won't happen again. It was a quiet day there today when I visited, just a couple patrons, so service was quick. I ordered a decaf coffee and a brownie, which I must say was the most delicious brownie I've ever eaten, and I have quite the sweet tooth. I was given permission to take a couple photos while I'm there, so I'm attaching them as well. I'd strongly recommend giving them a try - whenever I'm in that direction and need some quick refreshment, or somewhere pretty quiet to just relax and read a book, I could see myself stopping in and sipping a cup of joe and enjoying a mouth-watering brownie (or two). read more

This was the closest coffee spot I could find this morning and I was looking forward to a non-chain/local pace. I scanned the beans behind the counter and saw the Savannah Blend was the least full leading me to think it was a popular choice and the best one to try. So I did. I drink my coffee black, just coffee... this had a burnt strange flavor. I will go back and try a different roast, maybe that one just wasn't for me. I will say with certainty that it was better than Perc coffee (another Savannah local roaster that unfortunately has their coffee in SO many restaurants). I ran inside to grab a cup but noticed that they have a drive thru when I was going back to my car. The space inside seemed nice with good coffee house lighting. Ok wow so I'm not usually the person to go to a coffee shop but a friend was in town so why not.. But man Cutters Point is an awesome spot to go whether you're looking for a good drink or a snack or whatever. Atmosphere is chill and the people are friendly. Let me start off by saying that I WAS a regular customer of this establishment, and I live in the immediate area. We were hoping to go in and get some drinks tonight at around 7:58, they close at 8 but the door was still open and there were several customers inside. We walked into the open door only to be told that they were closed and that we were too late to get drinks. It seems to me like the employees had friends hanging out inside with them. I will recommend that the people who visit my business steer clear of cutters point due to the poor customer service. read more

Books and other local vendor products like honey, etc. Select pastry and candy options and fresh fruit. There's a microwave and a toaster for you to heat up your items if you like. Staff is very chill and to the point. The coffee is good, the pastries are good, but the star for me is their chai tea latte. THE best I've tasted. Nice and quiet coffee shop with wifi. When I went in there was a few people inside but you wouldn't have known since most of them were working on the computer. If I wanted to study or get some work done at a coffee shop this would be the place. I only had coffee and pumpkin bread here and both were fine. In town doing some fishing and touring, when my wife found this little gem on Skidaway Island. We ordered regular coffee and a cinnamon roll. We are picky about our coffee. This dark roast was very good - and not 'bucky'. We were very satisfied. The cinnamon roll was wonderful. One of the best I've ever had. Not too sweet - the dough actually had flavor, and was not gummy. The roll was not smothered in icing and relied on the cinnamon and perfectly cooked dough to make it so delicious. I couldn't stop talking about the cinnamon roll on the 5-hour drive home, and annoyed everyone in the car. Service was good. The place is clean and tasteful. read more

This is some of the best coffee in town. A very nice laid back place to stop in and have a cup of coffee, hang out and use their free WiFi and relax. In the morning they make their special Granola Bites which are really something special. A mix of oats, peanut butter, nuts, and a lot of other stuff. VERY GOOD! A cup of coffee and several of those and the day gets off to a pretty good start. I am giving this one star. I went there on Friday and ordered a cheese danish and a coffee. I asked the person at the cash register if she could warm up my danish and she rudely told me there was a microwave and that I could it myself. There are other polite ways to speak to customers, she also put it in a bag to go and I had to come back and ask for a plate and then a fork. She could have at least put it on a plate and gave me a fork. She was very rude and should not be working with the public, I believe good customer service is important as it sets the tone for the experience the customer will have at your establishment. I am not sure if I will come back, it is hard for me to get pass a rude person and experience. There was no one there for me to speak with, I hope someone will read this and understand my point of view as the customer. read more

I have been here several times and I was never particularly happy but today the crew did an excellent job. The problem with Cutters Point is always the crew. You will never meet the same person and often the staff is very young, not experienced and not customer service oriented: they don't know what they are doing. The coffe and the food are always pretty good. The service is disinterested (always love when I'm treated to conversation between the barista and counter help, while no one particularly pays attention to the customer), the espresso is average, food offerings are mostly non-homemade. Tip: a proper latte is not 1/2 foam. I was already in my car driving away when I opened the lid to see that my cup was about half full, with a copious amount of foam laying on top. It's the only game in town in this part of Savannah, so they've got a lock on the market. read more

I agree with "disinterested". I've had 4 transactions over last 3 days and have spoken with 5 different staff. 4 of 5 staff were disinterested and did not smile. This was my first time at CP. I was asking questions about the menu and not one smile. No elaborations. Asking about different food items and explanations of smoothies. One word answers. Poor eye contact. Not once did anyone say your drink will be at of bar. I had to ask. Total disengagement with customer. Music great. Great decor but I won't go back. I'd like to go where someone gives a crap. I have driven by this place several times and finally stopped in. I am pleasantly impressed and have been back three times this week. I used to own my own coffee shop and managed a Starbucks company store so I can say with accuracy that Cutter's Point has exceeded my expectations. In fact, this is the first Yelp! review I've ever done because I am so impressed. The staff is friendly, there is ample seating, free wifi, the place is CLEAN as heck, the tables are big enough for you, your laptop and your coffee and bagel. The bagels taste like bagels you might get in NY or NJ and they have a drive thru if you are in a rush. If you want a nice place to enjoy your a great iced latte and some baked goods while working quietly in a really comfortable and warm environment, this is the place for you! read more

The best I can say about Cutters Point is that it's now bad. It's not great either. The coffee is decent and it's closer to home than the "national brand." The problems are with product availability and worker attitude. For a few weekends in a row I've ordered a breakfast sandwich with my coffee only to be told they were sold out. I suppose that's okay if it were late morning but each time it was around 10 am. When I suggested to the barista that they seem to be sold out a lot I was told glibly that "the early bird gets the worm." When I suggested that if they always sell out by 10 am meaning only the "early birds" can have their preferences then they might pre-make a few more sandwiches I was directed (by someone who seemed to be in charge) to a breakfast restaurant in the same shopping center. They did have excellent breakfast sandwiches and, by the way, had pretty good coffee as well. read more

I have to say it's where I learned to truly savor a great cup of coffee. Out of the way, but right where I used to do my grocery shopping; it's definitely the only place in Savannah where you can consistently get a great espresso drink or cup of coffee. The staff are always friendly and sincere in their efforts to make you happy. And I also happen to love being a "regular" face somewhere! Thanks guys.
