Food is great, drinks are great. I've been twice now and I've been happy with both visits. Plenty of seating and decent size bar as well.

This was me and my girlfriend's first time coming here after seeing it so many times and never trying it and they are so underrated ! The service was fast and the food was amazing !! Our waiter Cedrick did an outstanding job with serving us , everything was freshly served and tasteful. The ambiance and music along with the drinks were perfect. The service has always been friendly and attentive. The ambiance was better than most restaurants I go to on FM 1960, with plenty of TV's, plenty of room, nice tables and large clean bathrooms. Today was my second visit to Cutten Kitchen. The first time I enjoyed the food. Today, I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, cooked medium. I was sorely disappointed, as it was rare and bled out on the bun. The bread was so soaked that the burger couldn't even be picked up. It was thrown together very sloppily. I also had the fried okra, which was just okay. It needed salt. Probably won't return again. read more

Food was really good. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was massive. A real chicken breast and she was thick! It had bacon and an avocado spread along with lettuce and tomatoes. A slice of tomato that I could NOT read the paper through. Most places the tomato is so thin it's not even worth mentioning! The fries were good as well. I tried to abstain from them. My wife and I drove from Corpus Christi to visit her family, and I always try to find a restaurant that we might enjoy. As I was searching, I found Cutten Kitchen had recently opened, had good reviews, and the menu had plenty of choices. We went with my brother in law, and all three of us were impressed! I ordered the chicken-fried steak with salad and green beans, my bro-in-law had the cheeseburger with fries, and my wife decided on the kids meal of chicken fingers with fries. The portions were too large for each of us to finish, and everything was so good we packed it up to take home! The french fries were the best we've had in a long time - they came out hot and crispy with a great flavor. The cheeseburger was almost too big to put in your mouth and the meat was flavorful. Everything was brought straight from the kitchen and hot! The chicken fried steak is amazing! My wife got 3 large chicken fingers and couldn't even finish the kid's meal! read more

Haven was so welcoming from the moment we walked in. Great service and attentive. I love that it's a digital menu. Food was top tier! My only gripe is that the starters came out at the same time as the entrees. A downside of ordering the food together via the QR code, but the quality greatly made up for it. Ate here with a couple of friends on a Thurs evening. Not many people there but that's a shame because the service was fast and friendly. They gave complimentary cornbread. I'm not a huge fan generally but this was REALLY good! Food came out in a good time and very fresh. We had the CK burger (very good size), Patty melt (also good size and juicy) and Fried fish and shrimp (large pieces and breaded perfectly, fish was nice and flaky). Fries were perfect. I don't believe this place has been open very long. I'm assuming less than 2 months? Anyways, we stopped by on a Monday roughly about 4ish. We saw they now offer breakfast so they open 8am-9pm. So it's breakfast, Lurnch, and dinner. The menu items are fair priced and they look and sound appetizing, but since we didn't exactly know what we wanted moreso we wanted to finally check this spot out since it's so close to our home in the upper echelon area of Willowbrook. Their happy hour is 3-5 if I remember correctly I tried their mojito wasn't too bad and it gave me a pretty good buzz. The beer my wife got was inexpensive so that was fair. The spinach dip we got was pretty tasty, it's good for a starter. Being that I asked a lot of questions and was kind to the bartender and the rest of the staff they gave us some cornbread I'm guessing to show appreciation for us stopping in. I gotta say that it was really good, fluffy, sweet, kind of moist and that honey butter that topped it with was like the cherry on top that enhanced the flavor profile. Nice touch. Because of the location and how close it is to nearby subdivisions in the area I noticed they had a few regulars and that's pleasant to see. The place is pretty large so I'm sure they can accommodate a good sized group and the inside looks clean and well lit. Bar area isn't huge it's kind of crowded but they do have a full bar so I can't complain much about that. There's a lot of choices to pick out from the menu from heart home cooking style food all the way to seafood. The coconut shrimps are decent sized, the wings looked cooked to perfection and crispy, however I can't be too sure as I didn't try them, but appearance wise it looked good. I think my wife and I m if he stop by for breakfast to see what it's like then or see if they offer brunch or something. 8/10 would recommend. read more

The inside is really clean and setup beautifully. Music is a great line up. However, service is slow once host shows you to your table. I was told 3 times complementary corn bread was on the way. It never came until I asked for it. I got the spinach dip to start. Kind of dry not creamy so it stuck to the bowl. Chips could have been heated. Tastes like they were poured right out the bag. My companion had chicken and waffles. If you love jumbo wings perfect however they're not good. Too fatty. Waffle was similar to what you would make at a hotel for free during breakfast. Not crispy at all and small. I myself got meatloaf. The taste is great however i had to send it back because it was cold even the potatoes and the greens were juice a bowl of juice. When remade everything was hot and the greens actually had meat in them the second time. Also serving meatloaf I guess you should say cook temp because i prefer my meatloaf well done. The drinks were good and I do like that waitress brings water soon as you sit. read more

Definitely a worth a stop in! Tried Cutten Kitchen for the first time this evening. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was very good! We ordered the Cobb Salad, BLT and Catfish & Shrimp Plate. They start you off with some of the best cornbread we have ever tasted. The salad was very fresh and very big. Enough for me to split it in half, send some home with my daughter and still wasn't able to finish it all. My son loved the shrimp and catfish and everyone loved the fries, they were crisp and well seasoned. The prices are a bit higher than I anticipated, but the food was so worth it. The restaurant was very clean and the seating was comfortable. We will be back to try more of their menu for sure! read more

We went there for dinner tonight early on Thursday night. We hadn't been there before and we're impressed by the decor and the demeanor of the staff. My wife had the chicken salad sandwich and I had the meatloaf. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. I had fries and green beans as the sides with my meatloaf, and both were really good, especially the green beans. The meatloaf is made with a barbecue glaze and is extremely tasty. First time here seen on social media and was like looks great let's go.... 2 of us meet here around 11:30 for lunch, few people already seated and a few to-go orders at door.... Finally we get seated nice establishment nice area then we seen the person who sat us is the ONLY server in the building and people are steadily walking in as it's now lunch rush. I will give this server credit cause he was running wild and he did everything he could being as busy as he was but the wait times was rough the manager was interested in his phone then helping his worker and then finally he started at least bringing the orders out but would not seat no one at door would not take any orders refill any drinks so forth so on.... Shaun our server was AMAZING he needs to get a raise... don't recommend coming here if you on a tight schedule but if you have the time and patience the food is decent. The atmosphere is nice. I ordered the bacon cheese burger and was pleasantly surprised on how well it was put together and the fries are great. I used to love going to Coach's off Jones road and getting the same thing before they shut down and this is about the same quality and presentation. I'm very surprised by all of the positive reviews. My wife and I just moved to the area and got to go food, chicken fried steak, chicken tenders and egg rolls. The chicken friend steak was bland and burnt, the mash potatoes were sour ( whatever dairy had definitely spoiled) and neither the cfs or tenders came with the requested cream gravy. The tenders were also covered in oil and void of any flavor. The egg rolls were the only decent dish from our experience. Very disappointed and do not recommend especially for the price. read more

Recently visited Cutten Kitchen with my wife. It is a recently renovated restaurant with a nice, cozy ambiance. After a warm reception by a friendly staff, we decided to try the egg rolls that were delicious and after that, I ate what I think is the best meat loaf that I have ever tried. Service was fast.
