I have very thick hair that need a lot of layering/thining. We discussed everything I wanted in detail beforehand and she was confident that she coould give me what I wanted. She was great with taking instructions. Most impressive was how patient and kind she was with my 12month old. It takes two people for him to get a hair cut these days. He is extremely wiggle. I can't cut his hair myself anymore. The atmosphere was relaxing. It was clean and modern. The price was perfect. The rest of the staff was friendly. I will recommend her to my family & friends who live in the area and when we are in town from LA I will use her again. Thanks Alisa!

Stacy Taylor is the best hairstylist I have EVER had, and I've looked high and low for somebody I…read morecan be loyal to in Los Angeles in Chicago. Stacy has an incredible sense of my hair, my face shape, and my personal range of colors. She can also talk technical, explaining in terms I don't understand why certain hues work for some people but not for others. Her knowledge about hair is so vast, and she loves to learn. I would never trust anybody else to make me a redhead because there is SO MUCH that can go wrong. But Stacy did it impeccably, and now I have no doubts in the woman's hair abilities. I have literally gone in wanting some change but not sure what, told her to work her magic, and left amazed. Stacy works in the basement of Stewart Palmer Salon and is opening her own "salon school" out of there. I'm grateful for her and am sad I have to leave her due to my own relocation. Any time I visit Utah I'll be making an appointment with her.

She bleached and toned my hair to a nice beige like I wanted. Although $280 is a lot for me to spend, it looked great when I left the salon. Nicole said to think of it as an "INVESTMENT". Nine days later the pretty beige turned back to brassy orangy blonde after 2 washes - just like temporary color does. When I messaged Nicole she told me that their salon only gives a ONE WEEK guarantee. I wish I would have known that going in; I would have gone to a reputable salon.

This would be my second time going to Una's Barber shop…read more I was in need of a hair cut real bad and the amazing staff on both occasions were absolutely amazing. Upon arriving at the barber shop particularly Friday. It was a busy day. I was greeted by the receptionist and walked if they accept walk ins, which they do. I really didn't wait long on my first time but my second time I had to wait one hour in half before i got into the chair. I knew waiting would be worth it because the barbers take time to actually make your hair cut look nice. No cookie cutter type of hair cut. The first time I had a male cut my hair (I forgot his name) and the second time was a female. Also (forgot her name). They are wonderful and pretty chill and not awkward at all. They do have appointments if you have a particular barber that you want to cut your hair. But plan ahead. Don't expect to get barber right away if you come in as a walk in. This is the place to go for a nice hair cut. Don't forget to tip they do take time making SURE your hair cut is FRESH
