Found My New Go-To Spot for Pedicures in Flagstaff! I recently had a bit of a nail salon nightmare when I urgently needed a pedicure while in Flagstaff for work. The first place I tried was a disaster; the water they used was dirty and had debris floating in it--yikes! I left immediately and luckily found Cutie Nail Salon nearby. Upon walking into Cutie, even though they were quite busy with customers, the staff was incredibly courteous and managed to fit me in with a short wait. Though my 20-minute expected wait turned into 35 minutes, the atmosphere was so welcoming that I didn't mind the extra time. Jay was the technician who attended to me, and I can't praise him enough! He was not only pleasant and polite but also exceptionally skilled at his job. My pedicure was thorough, relaxing, and just what I needed after the initial scare. Jay took his time, ensuring that every aspect of the service was perfect, all while being very personable and engaging in conversation. I'm so glad I found Cutie and Jay; I definitely know where I'll be going for my pedicure needs next time I'm in Flagstaff. Cutie nails was 15 mins from closing when I came to their door with a nail emergency, I had gel nails that were WAY overgrown and needed to come off due to working at the hospital. They were kind enough to stay and take care of my emergency, in such a clean, hospitable environment and were so kind and joyful in the process! Shout out to Ryan and Kim. Very rude customer service I am from out of town. I come from the Bay Area. I came with one of my family members to Flagstaff for one of our companies picnic and we were trying to take some time to do our manicure and the gentleman that served us was very rude. He started getting very loud as we calmly were trying to tell him that he was scratching and indenting the nail, trying to put some fake nails on my real nails when all I asked for a gel manicure, he messed up my nails indented them started getting very loud huffing and puffing as he was doing my nails very rude customer service I would not recommend to anybody especially being out of town my very first time here I don't know if he was the owner or not but if the owner was there, she did not do anything about it. Absolutely terrible experience. The salon is dirty and poorly maintained, and the nail tech did a sloppy, rushed job. My nails looked uneven and messy. Do yourself a favor and don't go to Cutie Nails -- you'll regret wasting your time and money. They barely deserve one star. My boyfriend and I both did pedicures, our ladies were gentle and the salon itself was relaxing. I've tried other places in Flagstaff, and Cutie Nails has become my go-to. I recommend only this place to all of my girl friends. The owner, Lisa, is very sweet and will try her best to get you in when the salon is busy. I always get an acrylic full set/fill and they come out perfect most of the time. I've learned to speak up when I want something done right and Lisa and Jenny are always open to giving you exactly what you want. Prices are reasonable since they have to travel to Phoenix to get polishes and other nail materials. Plus with long acrylic nails being in style right now, it requires more of the powder and polish. Very good experience, they color matched me to the picture I wanted when I would have chose the wrong color they had me pick the top color of my nails first but they said that it didn't look like the picture so Ryan decided to choose for me and they ended up perfect! I absolutely recommend this place! Ryan did an outstanding job. They allow walk-ins, and even sat me within 15 minutes.

The nails are cute but I was literally ripped off. The man told me $80 several times and then when I checked out it was $138 freaking dollars! That's insane. The nail artist cut my cuticles so badly they were bleeding and sore for days. I had to go on and scrub the nail polish off of my skin because it was all crusty and gross. Also he did my pinky nail crooked and I told him it was crooked and he said "i got you" but obviously not because it's still crooked. I probably won't return because of how insanely overpriced it was. Also it was dirty in there. They need to work on their appeal and with the prices they charge, they should be able to afford a nicer place. read more

I'm currently getting a GEL manicure and I cannot get the nail tech to accept that I do NOT want the powder. She's very upset about it and then refused to put 2 tips on the shorter nails because I'm not doing the powder. She kept arguing and saying no tips unless you do powder..I stood my ground and said I do not like powder at all. It's never lasted and always peeled. She remained irritated throughout the session and said my manicure would be $30 extra and my cuticles look terrible! My manicure consisted of a 30 second lotion hand rub, the terrible cuticle job and a hot towel for 30 seconds. My gel manicure cost $75! Wow. You can still see the white from the previous nail polish. She complained to her coworkers knowing I can't understand but it was very obvious. I will never come here again. Felt Rushed, two different people worked on me then left the salon with me still sitting in the chair with towels on my legs and left polish on the skin around toes . Language barrier and was talked over the entire time with the other techs, maybe if they focused on the client the finished result would be better! First, my pedicure is wonderful and was done really well. My manicure looks terrible, and the technician was consistently multitasking as she tended to my nails. My nail beds were not given very much attention and it was done sloppily. They did honor our appointment time and seated us quickly. I just feel very disappointed by the little time spent on my manicure, the results, and that I paid $17 for essentially nothing for my fingernails. Just left unfinished. Went for pink and white acrylics. Had an appointment they were 20 minutes late. Not really a big deal. What is a big deal is "Jenny" was putting on the tips. Not measuring them to my finger first. She got to my middle finger and the tip was too big but she glued it on. It was crooked and digging into my skin. I told her and she muttered something in Vietnamese, took out her clippers and drink and took it off. She gets to my thumb and again the tip was way too big. She glued it in anyways. Last I went was in October, they were wearing masks and gloves and provided hand sanitizer. My nails came out looking flawless! The only bad thing was that I scheduled an appointment for acrylics and a pedicure a week before. When I got there they did my pedicure, but for my acrylics it took them 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to me. Which honestly wasn't the best because I was leaving out of town. Overall I was really impressed with the results and I would really recommend going here instead of anywhere else in Flagstaff. Just make sure you're not doing much that day. I came in for a regular mani pedi I get really bad ingrown's on my big toes and it gets painful. They cut it perfectly to take the pain away. The massage chairs alone are worth a pedicure not for the meak though. (I had it on the strongest setting) the experience its self lasted an appropriate amount of time It didnt feel rushed which I was here at 9 am so it wasn't busy. I got a blue sparkly color which I am usually more of a pink nail gal but we're going on a river trip so I switched it up, he was meticulous at getting the color on. read more
