I took my poor baby there for the second and last time yesterday. When they called to tell me she was ready and the groomer had nicked her leg- unfortunately it took me about an hour to get there and rescue her. When I arrived there was ONE groomer trying to do EVERYTHING. I had to wait at least 20 minutes to get my baby. UNFORTUNATELY I had to pay and tip before I saw the literal massacre done. It was NOT a cute cut. I had asked her to cut around her eyes shorter than last time and that I like her mustache longer so don't cut it. She showed me a sample of a razor length that I THOUGHT she was using on her legs since I told her that the last time she had taken a little off the length that hung down and I was ok with that. Little did I know she was going to razor cut her coat off. My baby looks like a hairless cat. The one groomer took me back to show me the nick- and her other leg was STILL bleeding. I pointed it out and her response was "oh sorry". THEN she handed me a partial package of cotton rounds and a used spray bottle of hydrogen peroxide to take home. WTH! She didn't try to stop the bleeding. Nothing but "oh sorry". I know for a fact my 7 lb baby is easy to groom. So WHY did she cut NOT ONE hind leg BUT 2!! Her collar is missing and I was told the owner would call me today. I guess they really don't give a c&@p since I've heard nothing ! I won't be going back and my sister in law saw what was done and she said she won't go back. They are down 2 customers as a result of (I think her name was Tori?) one groomer that obviously didn't listen to a word I said. I wish at the very very least I could get my tip money back since she traumatized my baby. read more

Very disappointed in this business. I've been bringing my dog here for close to a year now with no issues into just recently. Will not be returning. My dog's eyelid was nicked and bleeding when I picked her up. Groomer Tori apologized but nothing was done to address what happened or rectify myself and my traumatized dog. I was rushed out of the building to pay quickly and was in disbelief as to what had happened. I called a few days later to request to speak with the owner after speaking with an employee over the phone who was apologetic but have not received a phone call back from the owner after several days now. Shameful behavior and approach. I would not recommend bringing your pet here and would take your hard earned money and business elsewhere. This business clearly doesn't know how to properly address pet injury and clearly does not care and it's become very dirty and gross inside the building in the grooming salon over the past few months. I will be taking my dog to a clean sanitary grooming business who knows how to groom and take care of dogs properly. read more

I live bringing My two Chihuahua doggies here. They do such a good job with nail clipping and they take extra care. Today I added teeth cleaning for both of them as well. Now their teeth are nice and shiny white! I highly recommend them! read more

We have taken our 2 dogs there for years. The last visit it took over 4 hours to get our dogs back when we were promised 2 to 3 hours. Person at the front desk told us to "Get the f**k out of my store", when I said there would be no tip. Not sure if he's the new owner, but I'll never go back. read more

I brought my Schnoodle in today and overall she looks cute enough. However, when I got to the car I saw that she had been cut on her leg. I came back in and the receptionist tried to first say that it was a scab or that the groomer didn't even realize he did it. When the groomer came over, he he did own up to the fact that he knew he had done it. This is definitely something I should have been made aware of before paying for our service. Additionally, other than bringing out peroxide to put on her cut and saying sorry, there wasn't any big concern over the well-being of my dog. I hope that nothing comes of it and we don't end up at the vet needing to treat her. This place came highly recommended from a good friend so it's too bad to say that I won't be returning. read more

This is the second time I've taken my golden doodle here for a cut. I specifically said not to shave her all the way down because I don't like it like that. And what do you know? I pick her up today and she's shaved all the way down even lower than last time and her ears are huge and fluffy. It looks so ugly, she doesn't look like a doodle at all. Not happy with this and will be going somewhere else from now on. read more

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! I brought my Australian Shepherd in for a bath and a cut, she didn't ask for shot records, didn't give a time to come get him just immediately took him back and that was it. No one had a mask on either... When we called to see what time to get him, no one answered. She was apparently blow drying his face and he "tried to bite her" and instead of putting a muzzle on him, she locked him in the kennel WITH the blow dryer. Not blowing him from the outside. Do not recommend this place at all would've rather gone to Petco. read more

This groomer is really a great place to take your fur babies. I took my dog, Rudy, in for his first haircut and wash a while ago. I came back to the shop about an hour and half later, and was quite surprised to see him under a table with a young man, getting his hair dried. I was told Rudy got very scared and so this young man took him under the table, held him close and just stayed there the whole time. Rudy was snuggled up against him, laying on his lap. The compassion these kids show for animals is amazing. I don't have to worry about Rudy going there, ever. He is an older little guy and can get worked up, but these people are amazing with him. He actually looks like a real live version of Mr. Peabody when he is all done! He is only missing the glasses! :) Ashley is great....they all are! I won't take him anywhere else. read more

I absolutely love the staff! I have a 5 month old boxer and this was her second time getting her nails trimmed. She was very nervous and stressed. The staff helped her ease down and enjoy her cut. I had previously gone to PetSmart and they had 3 leashes on her; however, at Cute Cuts for Mutts the staff even got on the floor for her and made it easy for my puppy to have a good experience. I will come here for all of my pets needs. Great place! read more

I love this place. My dog is such a scaredy cat but seems to be okay here. The staff is very sweet and gentle with the pets and treated my Coco Bear like she was their own. The haircut looks awesome and it's such a good deal for the cut, nails trimmed, teeth brushed, and glands. I was paying twice as much at Petsmart. read more

Never on time for appointment. Frequently had to wait for owner to arrive, as she was often still sleeping our not feeling like working that particular day. She should not take appointments if she does not want to work. Had to wait or have someone else in the shop groom my two dogs. Took 2 hours for just the cut. They were brushed and bathed prior to appointment. I would not recommend this business. read more

We love Cute Cuts for Mutts. Amryn is the groomer we use for our Tripp. She is always so patient with him, even though he can get owly. Most of our past groomers have asked us to sedate him for grooming, and our last groomer in Iowa took me aside when we were moving. She said not to tell groomers that others have asked to sedate him. She said he just needed time and patience. We moved to Arizona, and found a groomer who we used several times, until he asked us to start sedating Tripp. That's when I googled "groomers for hard to groom pets", and I found this place. Amryn has been nothing put patient and loving with Tripp, and she always tells me that he's been a good boy. Am so thankful we found her. read more

We love this place! Amrin, the owner is amazing. Our Cheagle typically loathes getting his nails clipped but has no problems at this place (and the rates are great too!). The owner also recently helped us with our other dog who we had just rescued. We took the shaggy pup over to Cute Cuts for Mutts immediately after pick up from the shelter and Amrin was so kind and gentle with our new girl. She was only able to shave about 85% of the pup due to some large scabs/wounds she discovered, and offered to finish the job once our pup is all healed up. I love love love this place! I am willing to drive farther from my home to keep in contact with these wonderful groomers - I followed them from a location in Chandler to this new location. They treat my three dogs as if they were there own - which I love because my dogs are my fur babies (yes I'm strange lol)! Shannon is my favorite groomer but I really have a spot in my heart for them all. I have a Westie that is a wee bit difficult to groom because he is Mr. Grumpy Pants and that's putting it nicely, but they groom him with no problem or at least they are too nice to me and tell me that he didn't act naughty lol. The people at this groomer are super friendly and I love that they are open on Sundays. However the $45 cut my dog received was beyond lousy. Her coat was crazy uneven with longer pieces all over, her poodle head pouf was a flat top and tail and ears weren't trimmed at all. Her coat is usually blow dried fluffy and coiffed from other groomers. I wanted to love this place but wasted a chunk of change on a cut I could have done at home. read more

Took my dog in to be groomed this morning. I loved being about to set up my appointment online but that's about where the good parts ended. As soon as I entered I wasn't too sure but decided to give them a chance since I had an appointment. The desk person didn't act or dress very professional and when I came back an hour later she couldn't even remember which dog is mine. The groomer didn't even "introduce herself" to our dog so she was really unsure about being left but I knew she'd be okay. The saddest thing was that my dog was locked in a kennel while she waited for me to pick her up. My normally friendly dog was terrified when we came to pick her up. I took my dog here for a bath, de-shed & nail trim. I chose this business due to their rating. When I entered the business I was skeptical. It was loud, an open concept floor plan, disorganized looking & not very clean. When I picked my dog up he was in a small cage with hoses hanging over the cages. I put him in the car & the perfume smell was overwhelming. A couple of days later I noticed he had small pin head sized scabs all over him & his fur was coming out like crazy. I felt he had not been deshed & possibly was having an allergic reaction to their shampoo. I called them to find out what they used so it wouldn't be used on him again. They asked me to bring him back in so they could examine him & offered a possible refund. I refused, telling them I would never bring him back in & to keep my money. I was very dissatisfied.
