Everytime I need to get my eyebrows done I go to cute brows. I never make an appointment and if there's a wait it's usually less than 10 mins. I always have gotten my eyebrows threaded once I tried it! It is so much more precise and sharp compared to waxing. I also have recently started getting my eyebrows tinted here as well. I was initially hesitant because I am a ginger with fair skin and red hair but the shade they use is perfect. It's just bold enough without being "too much." The ladies are always very nice and the pricing is great. For threading it is $11 I believe and for tinting it is $20. It lasts for about 3-4 weeks before completely fading. I'd highly recommend this place if you need to get your eyebrows done! read more

Every time I come here it seems to be a problem. I don't like eyebrow threading. I want a waxing but they always want to argue with me on what I want to get. The last time I came here they once again argued with me on what to get for my face, then dripped wax in my eye and made them uneven. They gave me a $10 credit for future use. I had already told myself I wouldn't come back. Well I did, I figured I would give them one more chance. Why did I do that? Not sure because after they argued with me again over wax vs threading they skipped me in line. Then tried to sit me in a seat that wasn't sanitized until I called her out for it!!! Like really? Went to try this place out for eyebrow threading cause it had pretty good reviews, but sadly was a big disappointment for my first time. My eyebrows are cut short, uneven, and go closer in between. I look like i have straight triangular uneven eyebrows!!! I feel like I have "Shin Chan" eyebrows!! I would've said something, but my eyebrows were already done for and if I were to get them fixed. It'd be even skinnier. All I asked was for Even/Identical eyebrows.. They're pretty nice though, so 2 stars on that. read more

The technician seemed very new and snapped about 6 pieces of thread on my face by the time all was said and done; not sure if they are used to people that don't care what their eyebrows look like when they're done or just lack skill completely but I now have to walk around with 1 and 1/2 eyebrows until it grows back Claimed they were unable to get some hairs because they were "too small" so I asked if I would be able to come back later this week, then tried to forcefully hold me down in chair to remove them rather than allowing the "too small" hairs to grow out. read more

The staff was so friendly and considerate! They did such an amazing job too-much needed! They did a thread and tint of my eyebrows for 30!! The other time I had been threaded hurt so bad I was in tears. They are very clean and safe considering Covid and won't do your upper lip but that is completely understandable. I have extremely sensitive skin too so it usually gets bumpy and red. She immediately went to help me with some lotion to soothe my skin that wouldn't cause acne. I first tried threading in the Triangle and was thrilled when Cute Brows opened, so close to my office. I formerly used waxing for my brows and hated that my skin was often damaged after and was red for hours following a wax. My first several times at Cute Brows were awesome. The shape was perfect -- they cleaned me up without removing too much. While it's not 100% painless, the pain is brief and much shorter than waxing. Then one time, I noticed after threading I had several small skin tears that scabbed over. When I go to get prettier brows, that's not something I'd expect. I sent a facebook message to Cute Brows and heard back quickly from the Manager. She said she'd like to do my brows herself and to comp my next visit. Yay for good customer service. My next several visits were seamless. Then a few weeks ago, same thing - a line of scabs right under my brow. They don't seem to be on facebook anymore and I don't really feel like calling to offer feedback, so I'm just letting it go. I love that they have a punch card and that you get a freebie after a bunch of visits. I don't love that they often try to upsell (they almost always ask if I want my bare upper lip threaded!) and, of course, the rare skin damage. I really do love the way my brows look after going to Cute Brows, but I really hate the damage it seems to sometimes do to my skin. I've gone probably 20 times so a 90% success rate (hence the 4 stars) and I'll probably continue to go, but I'll make sure it's never closer than a week to a major event. read more

I am sooo picky about my eyebrows because they really make my face and I'm always so nervous to try somewhere new. I was so pleased with this place the first couple of times. The last two times I've gone they didn't do as good of job. I really wasn't pleased with the shape of them. They didn't match and they took the end off one of them. I love this place! I go in about twice a month to get my brows threaded. I have a scar right through the middle of my left brow and I HIGHLY recommend switching over from waxing to threading for anyone who has sensitive skin or issues with scarring. Lasts much longer and easier for them to avoid specific areas while threading. Despite any other issues, I always get exactly the eyebrow shape i want from this place. BUT i will say--usually the shape I get from cute brows is very NATURAL--they really just clean up the stray hairs from around the natural shape, which is exactly what I want. But if anyone is looking for something that really changes the shape of your brow, that's probably not what you're going to get from this place. About 3/4 of the time I go into cute brows my experience is flawless--great customer service, minimal wait time, perfect brows. The other 1/4 there have been very long wait times, issues with payment, or what seems to be very short staffed with one employee threading brows and the other one doing something taking forever in the back room. But because their services are so inexpensive, and great for what you pay, I will definitely keep coming back. read more

Great studio! I have had bad experiences with eyebrow waxing. Normally the ladies get crazy with the wax and make them much too thin. I really dislike when they go into start waxing before you are done telling them what you want done. Not the case here at all. The woman took her time and made sure she understood what I wanted first and really paid attention to making sure they were even. The prices were fair, and I really like that she used powder afterwards to fill in my brows better. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because I would've liked to see them use an esthetician magnifying glass with the light in order to make sure every hair was taken that can be missed in the dull lighting in there. I have been getting my eyebrows threaded for about ten years now. (Unfortunately I acquired my father's bushy caterpillar eyebrows vs my mother's dainty ones.) As a Chicago native new to Wilmington, I was VERY nervous about finding a new beautician. After reading endless Yelp reviews of the surrounding area, I decided to take a chance with Cute Brows. It seemed relatively new, clean, calm, and spacious when I walked in. The three woman working on the floor were very friendly and sounded knowledgeable about their trade. I ended up walking out satisfied with the service, my eyebrow shape, my receipt of just $10, and a punch card for the 10th visit free :o) I will definitely be going back in three weeks and that 10th visit will be here in no time.
