I'm seeing Shannon for laser tattoo removal, and she is awesome! I first went to a local dermatologist's office where the young tech swiped over my ink in about ten seconds. It was extremely painful and very expensive, and she gave me the wrong instructions for aftercare, so none of the ink faded at all! Shannon, on the other hand, is very experienced in tattoo removal and came highly recommended from a mutual friend who's had Shannon do her permanent makeup. Shannon numbed the area well with lidocaine prior to the procedure, then she meticulously went over the ink. She said she cranked up the laser to make sure the ink would dissipate, but it didn't hurt any worse than getting the tattoo in the first place. She gave me clear aftercare instructions that make sense and explained why the dermatologist's office instructions were incorrect. And she charges half the price per session! I'm upset that I wasted money and time at the dermatologist, but very grateful that I've now found Shannon. She's really a great lady with a great vibe and I'm very confident in her skills! read more

Shannon is the BEST! My husband and I were in Wilmington for a doctotr appointment and I had always wanted my brows done since they were fading. I mentioned my desire to him and he said search for a place . The first place popped up was Dragonfly. I read the reviews, he found the place and I AM SO GLAD HE DID. Shannon is the best ! Her personality is lovely, The shop is neat ,clean and awesome. She gave me brows that look just like hair! ( microblading) Wow, wow, they are gorgeous! I got my eyeliner done and could not be happier! I get compliments all the time and I love not having to put eyeliner on every day or worrying about it smearing. I can't say enough good things about this studio!!! Every time I go there it is a positive atmosphere in which I always leave feeling super refreshed. It is SOOO convenient to have a multitude of services in one place as well (haircuts, eyebrow microblading and eyeliner, tattoo removal, facials etc.) Shannon is doing a tattoo removal for me. I am only a couple sessions into our process where it will take multiple sessions to fully remove it, so I will update with photos when my process is complete. Shannon is so amazing at what she does and because of her I have a new outlook on life. I had to paint on my eyebrows everywhere I went and if I went swimming or sweated then they would be gone. They were never ever symmetrical and if I wiped my brow then one might be 5 inches and the other one nonexistent. She is so good and so precise and makes you feel at ease. I'm 73 and my first visit with Shannon was an awesome experience for eyebrows and eyeliner. She is a true professional and really put me at ease.
