Highly recommend this place. They can do everything from line ups, beards, and bald fades to a regular men's haircut. One of the best in the area and very reasonably priced, I believe around 17 for haircut and beard. Ask for Canu if you go, but I've heard great things about everyone else as well. read more

This Saloon is next to T-stop and they charge $17 for the hair cut. The recommendations by the barbers were worthless. So I recommend you to have your own style and ask em to do that. read more

Horrible cut by Wili, I dont think this guy has proper training. He used the trimmer wildly over my head hurting me several times. This is my worst hair cut ever. The hair is uneven from all the sides. He didnt use scissors and when I asked him to use the scissors he flooded my hair with water and gel and then just pretended to make it work. Not sure abt the other guys at this place but this is totally horrendous. read more

For the past 22 years of my life, I've only had four barbers. When I find a good one, I stick with them. The environment and the other barbers are nice but Keith is the sole reason I come to Cut N Edge. Not only are his talents unrivaled, he's also amicable and knowledgable of a variety of subjects. A good conversationalist but knows how to read his customers and won't talk your ear off if you just want a quick cut. He is very skilled and simply knows his craft. This is my first haircut in Boston. I don't like to be edged up because it makes me look like my grandfather. I asked the barber not to edge me up in the front. I mentioned it again and asked if he heard me the first time, "ya I heard you" was his reply. He edged me up anyways and charged me. Worse experience possible. read more

The guy who cut my hair was cool and quickly understood what I wanted. I am sure this is a good place for men's haircut. Went to Northeastern for 5 years and one of my biggest regrets is waiting 4 years to walk into this barber shop. From the outside, it's a great looking place and can be a little intimidating at first but the barbers are all very friendly, down to earth individuals who just want to give you a great haircut. I have medium-length thick hair, and I still have a cowlick from when I went 6 weeks ago, right at the top of my head, where the two sides of the part meet. My barber is packing his shop so he can travel, so I was forced to look for a new barber... After reading all the Yelp Reviews I decided to get a line up from Cut n Edge about 2 monthes ago. I was going to go straight to 'Nelson" since everyone raves about him, but settled for the first guy who greeted me - Alex is his name. I have a weird hairline so I was definitely afraid he is incompetent (like many others I experienced), but he was surprisingly as focused as m former barber. Anyways...after a few trials of lineups, I decided to get my first haircut from this guy 3 weeks ago... I gave him a complicated task - I don't know what exactly I want but... make me look good... I just finished getting my haircut here and had the worst customer service I've ever had at a barbershop. For starters the barber couldn't do a simple burst fade! Its 2014 how do you not know how to do in-current styles and you're a barber?!!? He didn't brush the hair off my face not one time even though I repeatedly stopped and grabbed hair from my mouth and eye! I had to remind him to edge me up after he handed me the face mirror. I asked are we done he said yes I said are u going to line me up?! That comes with a haircut dude!! Who fades but doesn't edge???!!? I don't even know his name but in all due respect this is the best way I can describe him ( the heavy black guy). He knew my haircut was wrong and didn't care. I even showed him pictures throughout my haircut and he got it wrong. Didn't say thanks for coming or anything. I left with hair all over my clothes, face and eyes because he didn't wipe me off. Never going back ever. I'm so glad I'm moving back to Texas because nobody has cut my hair correct once since I've been here. I'm from NY and I've been coming here to Nelson. Just today, Nelson was packed and I need a quick one. Freddy or Freddie, the guy sits in front Nelson gives the best undercut and skin fade I've seen in Boston. I have thick straight Asian hair, so if it gets fcked up, you'll see it. Faults in my hair doesn't like to hide it literally sticks out. Shoutout to Nelson and Fred. You guys deserve a review. The barbers in the shop are also great. This is a professional barber shop with professional barbers. Milq is my barber. I call ahead; he tells me what time he can take me, and it is set. I show up on time, and he is ready, or I am next. He remembers how I like my hair cut, and there is as much or as little banter as I want. I have lived all over the country, and Milq and Cut N Edge are in my Top 2. They even throw a customer appreciation Christmas Party. The only downside is limited street parking, but there are 2 T stations (Orange and Green lines) within 2 blocks. They do all types of hair, and have a diverse clientele. If you want to talk basketball, do your homework. read more

Cut N Edge but their barbers can't use scissors. Went here for a simple haircut. The barber spent 30 min on my hair: 25 were spent buzzing my sides and yelling at the other barbers, 5 were spent cutting the top. The man couldn't use scissors for his life. Extremely uneven job, I'm finding hairs a good inch longer than others on my top. Huge disaster, going somewhere else to clean it up today. Don't go here if you need hands that use scissors better than a child. read more

Ok so I had a great (and hilarious) experience at this shop. I have an undercut and my old hairdresser suggested a barber for touch ups. This place had the best reviews so I went for it! I was the only person in there that was both white and female and it actually wasn't weird at all. I got my hair buzzed by Christmas, and he's so sweet! I'll definitely go back.
