The employees were all wearing face coverings correctly. Other customers? Hit or miss. There were also barriers at the registers. I did notice that there were several women employees working. This is great if you don't identify as a man and find auto parts stores to sometimes be intimidating or unwelcoming. But one guy who was there was helpful and quickly pointed out where something was when I asked where I could find it. I don't know for certain, but due to the existence of an O'Reilly Auto Parts store right next door, I'd assume prices are rather competitive.

Take all your paperwork home, rest, then read everything before you sign anything. Buyer beware. It has taken 6 months to resolve an issue of GAP coverage. With my down payment I did not need GAP. At the point of sale I was so exhausted after spending all day at the dealership that I did not take another hour to read every page I signed. It was my fault I did not see I was charged. I read everything the next day at home. I was never asked or told about GAP coverage. I was not concerned as I did read I had 30 days to cancel with a full refund. I requested the cancel in writing two days after the purchase. I sent all parties a copy of request. Mail was return undeliverable from KIA 1687 S, College St address. I contacted my sales agent the same day it was returned and emailed the request for process the same day. He was wonderful and assured me it would be taken care of. Still within a week of purchase. I have had to chase the refund to my loan. When the bank received the refund it was prorated. So, again I had to chase why. That's when contact with me stopped from the local dealer. I have contacted corporate office and I was assured a check for the difference had been sent. They did not know where or when I would get that check or if it was sent to me or my bank. It's an easy job, as long as you have a lift to easily get to the transmission pan underneath. Once there the guy tells me he doesn't know how do it, and I should go to a specialty shop to have it done. Ok, if you can't drain and refill ATF on a Chevy truck transmission (4L60E, literally the most popular transmission in GM history) you don't need to be advertising yourself as a mechanic shop. Maybe this guy is great at whatever he actually does know about working on automobiles, but you might want to call ahead and find out.

Auburn Tire helped me with patching my tire and then when that didn't fix the leak (because a cut…read moreon the side of the tire), they replaced my tire in less than an hour! But, after they replaced my tire they told me I should also replace all my break pads and my rotors... not a cheap fix. I decided to wait and ended up taking it to a place in Phenix City near where I work instead. He told me my rotors are COMPLETELY FINE and do NOT need to be replaced. He told me all I needed was new break pads on the front and an oil change... which cost less than half of what Auburn Tire had tried to charge me. Suggest getting a second opinion after looking into Auburn Tire.
