Tiger Tire and Auto deserves 5 stars. Maybe even 6 stars. If you live in Auburn, this is the place…read moreto get your car fixed. I called them as a 2nd opinion after Franklin Auto had given me an estimate. I talked to Brandon, who owns the place but I didn't realize it at that time. He was great on the phone and quickly provided me an estimate which was about $400 cheaper. They were able to get my car towed (they have the cheapest rate for towing in Auburn by the way) and quickly got to work. They had my car ready as promised and though it was still expensive, the final bill was slightly less than the estimate provided. When I needed to pick up my car, they were great to have somebody drive it home for me. I noticed while I was waiting that they were very busy but were still completely courteous to their clients. Makes it easier to shell out money when you get the feeling that you are dealing with earm people that are unlikely to cheat you. Visit Tiger Tire and Auto. The only AAA certified auto mechanics in Auburn. I know that just sounded like I work for them but I promise that I really don't.

Great Auto Care used to be our go to until we tried to get my wife's AC fixed a few weeks back…read more They replaced the compressor and now it makes a whining/grinding noise whenever the AC is on. Took it back and they "replaced" the compressor with a "new" one at least 3 times. I can understand getting a bad part but not 4 in a row. Makes me wonder if they ever changed it to begin with. We were told it's because the part is an after market part. Took it to another shop and he said it shouldn't make that noise. Tried to speak with the owner about a refund and he just wants to refund the part and not the labor. He told the manager to tell us the air blows cold so it's fixed. Owner of the shop told his manager that he would contact us and the owner of the 2nd shop we took it to. The owner hasn't tried to contact either of us or the other shop once. This after our family has spent a good bit of money having work & routine maintenance done at this shop.

They provided me with a laundry list of issues that needed immediate repair. I called Todd at Integrity and dropped my car off there for the repair. He quoted me $2500 for the same repairs but wanted to do the diagnostic testing himself. I picked my car up today. $50 for the repair.
