Jason put in a new solar inverter and did a few other electrical things for me a couple of years ago. I was very pleased then. Just recently the invertor seemed to be off. He popped the same day and rebooted. Really appreciated that. Will use him again. read more

Jason came out and got our AC going in the middle of a heat wave and on short notice. So thankful for the speedy response!

I do NOT recommend Custom Touch Electric!!!   Their website states, "We provide residential customers with the best service in the North County. We deliver fast, high-quality work at reasonable rates. You can count on our expert electricians to be knowledgeable, reliable, and capable." I was fooled by such a statement! First, my original appointment was rescheduled at the last minute, which was fine because I understand delays happen throughout a work day. The rescheduled date was a couple of days later, and the time was from 3:30 - 5:30 pm.  I waited, waited, and waited until 6:30 pm and even tried calling them at 5:30, only to get a full voicemail, and to no surprise, Custom Touch Electric was a no show! read more

They didn't do the job they said they would do and it took them a lot longer than they said it would. I could go on and get into the details but it still makes me upset that we trusted them. I have one word to describe my experience with this company and that's Nightmare. read more

I had called with an electrical concern at my house. I explained the issue to the lady who took down my information. She said she would forward this to the electricians and they would get back to me. Two days later, the concern became an emergency. I called and spoke with a different lady. I explained I hadn't been contacted and that it was a serious issue at that point. She stated "the electricians aren't taking any more projects, would you like to leave a message?" No, at that point I needed immediate assistance. I selected another company and am grateful for their rapid response, prioritization of my situation and effectiveness. Where should custom touch electric improve: -If projects aren't being taken, please say so from the beginning. -If as an electrician you receive a work order, please respond to it even if it is to decline it. -Establish (or enforce) a policy of escalation between routine installs and emergencies. read more

Hi Jason, please get in touch with me by responding to my email and voicemail to correct some work that was done on my house by your company a while back. Thank you! read more

I had a mysterious electrical problem at home, which peaked on a weekend, of course. Found this place highly rated, so I emailed Sunday afternoon, got a response within an hour (yay!), and agreed to the day he suggested to come out to diagnose my problem. When the day came, he called around noon and said he'd be delayed "a couple of hours." That wasn't a problem so I said ok. So far I was happy with how things were going. However, by 4:30 he still hadn't arrived. I called the phone number he'd used to call me, no answer, went to voice mail, I left a message saying "let me know what's up." Now it's two days later and I've still not heard from him. I can understand that sometimes things happen and plans have to change, but then you call and say "I'm sorry, I need to..." Meanwhile, I got someone else to fix the problem in three hours from first call to completion. read more

After so many bad experiences with poor service, these guys were a breath of fresh air. They took what had been a disaster of a home warranty water heater replacement and came to our rescue. Not only did they run the new circuit, but they replaced what was clearly a used water heater element in our "new" water heater for half the price of what others quoted just for the new circuit. We will never use another electrician. read more

Jason fixed a three way switch that two other electricians said was impossible, and helped me track down and resolve my pool/spa lights where the wiring was a mind boggling disaster. He is highly professional, knowledgable, and has reasonable pricing. I have dealt with many electricians in the past, and he is, without question, the best. I highly recommend him. read more

My review of these guys is mixed, mainly because as our relationship with them went on, the customer service sagged quite a bit. When we first found them, they were GREAT. They quickly came in, worked with our contractor, installed some lighting and switches and helped us update the look of our home. Sean was very helpful, attentive, clean and respectful, working with us every step of the way to make sure we got done exactly what we needed to get done. He made sure to clean up his work area afterwards and made sure everything was "inspection-ready" after the job. As the job on our new house progressed, however, things started to slip through the cracks. Multiple reminders to install a switch, forgetting to put cover plates on junction boxes, extended period of time getting back to us, confusing billing invoices... We really appreciate the work they did for us, but I don't think we'll use them again right now. Maybe when their business is a little older and more established, but not right now. read more

Great, fast service. Thank you! Had to get a 220 volt outlet rewired. They were there and fixed the problem within a couple of hours of my speaking to them. Only one of the six other electricians in Fallbrook I called that day even took the trouble to call me back read more

I'm not the handiest person on the planet, and sometimes mistakes are made during house projects - and let's face it, when you have a house built in the 50s, things aren't going to work out as flawlessly as you might expect. In this case, I had made a few mistakes on my electrical work and after a great deal of troubleshooting, I bit the bullet and called Jason at Custom Touch. He said he'd be able to drop by in less than an hour and a half, which he did. Most electricians I've worked with in the past have been condescending and act like they don't want to be there, overall creating horrible experiences. But Jason was an exception. In fact, he went out of his way to patiently explain what he was doing, where the mistakes were made and how to fix them. He answered all of my stupid questions. He was pleasant in his interactions, he never expressed any frustration at the task at hand, and - most importantly - he never made me feel like an idiot (frankly I was doing enough of that to myself, so his attitude was a breath of fresh air). Each problem was fixed in less time than it takes me to replace a simple light switch or outlet. And, he wished us a Merry Christmas at the end. We have some more projects planned in the coming months and years and will definitely be calling Jason again - this time, it will probably be to involve him in the entire project and not just fixing my own mistakes. read more

Jason did a great job on my house! I'd recommend to anyone and I'll have him back again. I had what seemed to me a big job: installing lights or ceiling fans in five rooms, correcting wiring and making sure outlets were safe. He came in and had it all finished in a few days. I am so pleased with his work. read more

Jason and his assistant Sean came promptly in response to my call for someone to figure out why the power went out in my garage during the storms, shutting off my freezer among other things. I also have several other repairs / add ons for Outlets that I needed done. I needed a recently installed solar inverter hook up to be wired into the house. The previous electrician who did the solar inverter installation flaked out. The estimate was reasonable; even called the manufacturer for the solar inverter to get a kit that should have come with the inverter to begin with. They showed up on time to do the work, it was done professionally and very neatly. Phone calls were returned promptly. I am really really happy to have found a local reliable electrician who can also deal with my solar as well. In the future I will not bother to call anyone else. read more

The worst experience!!!!! He visited our home and began with an unwarranted arrogance. After walking our yard he pulled out his "pricing manual" and simple stated "These are our prices." OK; no problem. We set a date and time to do the work. Not only did he NEVER show up, he NEVER even had the courtesy to return my numerous phone calls stating that "I am talking off work waiting for you to arrive." I finally canceled our appointment; he still NEVER returned my call. What a JERK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He leaves customers waiting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never returns call!!!!! I shutter to imagine what would have happened if he had done the work and I had a problem and called him or warranty work!!!!!! Guess I'm fortunate he NEVER showed up. read more

I had a last minute electrical project come up. Found Jason with Custom Touch on Yelp and gave him a call. He answered the phone right away and he agreed to come over the next day. He was prompt, courteous, assessed my needs and gave me thorough advice. His straight forward pricing structure was excellent; taking the guess work out of the cost of the project which was a relief. He actually came back the same day and completed the project! He and his crew were courteous, professional and left my place spotless. If you have electrical work that needs to be done, call Jason and Custom Touch Electric. He will be my go-to electrical professional going forward! You won't be sorry! read more

Really great service today from Custom Touch Electric. I needed a relatively simple fan installation on a high ceiling, and the day after I contacted them, the electrician showed up on time and ready to rock. Fair prices, not cheap, not expensive, and straightforward and friendly service. I'll definitely call them again the next time we need electrical work done. read more

Hire these guys... I did and I am glad I did. Shawn was right on time, very courteous... a few minutes later Jason arrived. They reviewed their pricing w/ me, no hidden fees and got a difficult trouble shooting job done quickly. In addition, I had some telephone issues and Jason offered to take a look at it. BTW, I have had Comcast out to fix my phone 5 times w/ no resolution. W/in 30 minutes Jason had it re-wired and fixed. These guys are the real deal. Hire them and you will be happy you did. read more

I read these reviews and can't believe it's the same business I called. I called him on a friends recomendation. He spoke to me briefly, said he was driving and would call me back in 10 minutes. Almost 3 hours later I called him and got his voicemail. I left a message reminding him to please call me. I left him my name and number again, and a reminder of what my issue was. No call for a week. The friend that recommended called him, he answered. I spoke to him again, his excuse, "I get like 50 calls a day". I was annoyed but still willing to give him a shot. We made an appointment to meet at the house several days in advance. ( mind you I don't live there, and am not there except to meet him). He never showed or called. If your too busy for me, say so. This was unacceptable. read more

We had Custom Touch hard wire our TVs and computers for the internet and could not be more pleased. The quality of the work was outstanding, everyone was extremely pleasant, and Justin went beyond the call of duty in making sure everything worked satisfactorily, even though it took him far longer than he had estimated. A first class company that I can definitely recommend and shall use again. read more

UPDATE! I originally called for some work and immediately received a phone call back and the work that was done was perfect and the price was great! As I was thrilled with the service I called back a few weeks later to have more work done. And I heard nothing back. I called again and left another voicemail. NOTHING. I called a third time and still NOTHING. Unfortunately at this point I will never use or recommend this company again. Sad. read more

Jason came out to hook up our spa, unfortunately, was a not able to get it running, GFI breaker kept tripping. I was told the new electrical spa board was defective, so I paid him and called the Spa center. Spa company sent out their electricians, and found two issues: 1) spa was not wired correctly, 2) master panel supporting spa panel was not upgraded to support new amps (code violation per electricians). After these things were corrected, spa worked fine; also, had to pay them. Spoke to Jason concerning issue, he was surprised about issues found and agreed to return payment. Jason seems to be a good guy, however, he and his assistant did not know their way around spa hook-ups. Hopefully, they get better in this area, but we will not be using their services in the future. read more

This week we had Custom Touch install two ceiling fans in our home. The technician was prompt, friendly, professional and courteous. The work was done quickly and efficiently and no mess was left behind during their stay. The job was a bit complicated because of some previous work done by another contractor but Jason and Shawn stayed until all was working well. We will definitely call on them again for our electrical needs and will gladly refer them to our neighbors. read more

We are just finishing up a major kitchen remodel in Temecula. We requested bids from 4 different companies that we found either on Yelp or from ads in circulars. Custom Touch Electric was the most reasonable bid we received by far. Jason and Sean were great to work with throughout the process. They came out several times and were patient with the complication of different trades being in their space at times even though we did our best with the schedule. More than once, Jason and/or Sean came out on short notice and even after hours because some small thing needed to be done so the schedule could stay on track. Our remodel was complicated too with wires going from their original point to across the room and custom cabinet lighting to boot. They were always polite and pleasant even when the remodel was getting frustrating for us as remodels often do with the mess and lack of a kitchen! :) A huge plus is that I never had to endure a single curse word! They're really nice guys and knowledgeable. I highly recommend that you call them. You won't regret it :) read more
