Shoutout to Charlie, Brent, and team! These folks are amazing people. Not only did I get a…read moremaintenance appointment scheduled for the very next day, I also was able to drop off my truck the day before. I ordered 4 new tires that had to be ordered and delivered the following day. But wait there's more, I also had to go Philadelphia for a family members surgery and could not be back until the following week... they said no problem! They kept it on the lot for me. Brent even called me and asked if I wanted to save @$65 on my Bridgestone tires by opting out on the "Bridgestone" lettering not being white. I didn't even know that was a thing!! Then he explained that the best thing to do in addition was an alignment once the new tires were installed. Our Red Dodge Ram 1500 Lone Star is already blacked out so these tires went perfectly. We just ordered the same tires to replace our old ones with the white lettering. Genius and we saved money! Thanks to Brent! And a little secret, I had to have the team get out a space saver hanger out of my bumper!! It's the king that has two hanging hooks on both ends so that when it hangs down, it space saves. Well, I got one caught up in my tail gate after hauling stuff to my storage unit and because of the double hook detail it was stuck. So it wasn't able to pull up it up from the tailgate hinge, so I pushed it down thinking it would fall through! Wrong! Since I automatically panicked knowing it could possibly make a rattling noise if left in the tailgate which would drive us crazy... I was also thinking it could affect wiring or safety issues. Though I asked the team to try and remove it, I asked for them to keep on the DL and I would confess to my husband after the removal. Jesus teased me by pretending he was going to announce the task on the overhead speaker so the entire crew could hear it in the service bay and sales floor. I told him he was funny and that I was going to keep an eye on him from then on. The team did a great job with everything! And the carefully placed the rescued hanger on display on the passenger seat for me to appreciate. It literally was on my service ticket. The surgery also went smoothly! God is good! Now as my family member recovers, so will my truck be able to from the hanger removal. Thanks to the excellence of the Surgeon at University of Penn Medicine, the service team at Fred Frederick, and God's Hand on us this entire week!

Very disappointing and non-transparent experience with DARCARS Lexus of Silver Spring…read more I brought my 2024 Lexus TX in with three weather-seal issues. DARCARS agreed to repair the windshield and moonroof seals under warranty but denied the torn driver's-door weatherstrip, quoting over $500. Their explanation was that a door scratch "might have impacted the weatherstrip." When I asked for photos supporting that conclusion, they declined to provide them and told me to contact Lexus Corporate. Ironically, the Lexus RX they gave me as a loaner had a driver's-door weatherstrip that was not properly secured, with two clips unfastened. I sent DARCARS photos and video because this provided a plausible explanation for how a loose weatherstrip could eventually tear. They never addressed it. Separately, I paid for a DARCARS Assurance package that includes clear door-edge guards. I have asked them to install the guards during two different service visits. They forgot both times. A warranty denial based on what "might have" happened, refusal to provide the supporting photos, no response to relevant evidence I provided, and twice forgetting a service I already paid for. I expected much better customer service--and basic respect for a customer--from a Lexus dealership.

Ever since the…read morechange in management there have been many issues not only for me but my family that I've recommended. More recently I had my alternator replaced, less than a week later my car would stall out when I came to a stop. After speaking with Connie she told me to bring it in. Das quoted me $584.00 (including oil change) to replace the alternator. I then got a quote from another auto shop close by who was $120.00 less. When I went to pick up my car, DAS charged me $52.00 to just look at my car (their "diagnostic fee"), when I questioned the charge they told me the problem had nothing to do with the alternator. This fee was never disclosed to me up front. Nearly all businesses tell you what fees and costs are associated before they touch your car. Apparently this doesn't apply to DAS. This place has gone down hill over the years, not sure if it's the expansion and/or the front desk person they now need to pay for but I've never had issues here until the change in mngmt. Stay away from this place or be sure to ask for charges up front!!! My sister also brought her car in for electrical issue with windows. After paying for repairs she continued to have the same issue a month later. When she brought it back they charged her again to fix it. They clearly don't honor their work! This is just a few of many other issues. Also they charge more for an oil change than the dealership!!

Bryan, the Sales Manager, reached out to me via email late on a Friday night to work out an out-of-the-door (OTD) price. He gave me a fantastic upfront deal that beat out a competing offer, with absolutely zero games. I placed a deposit to hold the 2027 Bolt EV that night, and when I arrived early Saturday morning, they already had everything ready to roll. Bryan introduced me to T, who looked after me for the rest of the visit. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me a great test drive. She sensed right away that I already knew the car inside and out, so she didn't waste time trying to "sell" me on features or push unwanted add-ons. Even the finance department was a breeze--in and out in less than 15 minutes! Before I left, the detailing crew noticed a couple of minor scratches on the side and went completely above and beyond, choosing to buff the entire side of the car so the paint looked flawlessly uniform. No upsells, no hidden fees, just great people doing business the right way. Love my new Bolt EV. I highly recommend Sport Chevrolet!

Extremely disappointing experience from beginning to end. I came in for what should have been a…read moreroutine oil change and left with serious concerns about the service, inspection, and customer service I received. Quecealla Turner's responsibility: She provided me with a specific price and then failed to honor the price she quoted. I was subsequently left waiting approximately six hours, only to be told that my truck had been forgotten. As the employee handling my service, I expected accurate pricing, communication, and basic respect for my time. I received none of those. The technician's responsibility: My Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection stated that my truck was in excellent condition. However, Oscar acknowledged to me that the young technician had provided inaccurate information on the inspection report. After service, I discovered missing hardware causing a clanking noise and an oil pan drenched in oil. I now have to have my truck independently reevaluated to determine what was missed or improperly handled. Oscar's responsibility as Service Manager: Once I brought these concerns to him, I expected him to take ownership, investigate what happened, ensure the truck was properly reevaluated, and provide an appropriate resolution. Instead, after acknowledging that the inspection report was inaccurate, Oscar essentially attributed the situation to my truck being old and having high mileage. That did not address the inaccurate inspection or my concerns about what happened during service. The dealership owner's response: I eventually brought the matter directly to the owner. He reimbursed the $175 oil-change charge, which I appreciate. However, when I asked the dealership to address the oil pan with sensor and radiator hose to make the situation right, I was told that nothing further would be done because of the truck's age and mileage. I was not asking for anything unreasonable. I was asking the dealership to address specific concerns arising from this service experience. Instead, I am now having to spend additional time and money getting my truck independently reevaluated. Age and mileage should not eliminate a service department's responsibility to provide accurate documentation and properly communicate with customers. If an older person had a medical procedure go wrong and was simply told, "You're old," that would not address what happened. The same principle applies when a customer entrusts a vehicle to professionals for service and inspection. My warning to owners of older or higher mileage vehicles: be extremely careful. Get every quote in writing, verify every charge, carefully review the Multi-Point Inspection, ask exactly what was performed, and inspect your vehicle before leaving. Quecealla failed to deliver on the price and communication she provided. The technician's inspection was acknowledged by Oscar as inaccurate. Oscar, as Service Manager, failed to provide the level of investigation and accountability I expected after being notified. And ultimately, the dealership chose not to address the additional concerns I raised beyond reimbursing the $175 oil-change charge. I came in expecting professional service and honest documentation. I left with additional concerns, additional expense, and a complete loss of confidence in this service department.
