They don't have the friendliest employees here. During my most recent visit, I needed to get a replacement bulb for my headlight. The employee who "helped" me wasn't the friendliest. It felt like I was bothering him or something. I've been to other locations, and they actually come out and assist you. When I asked, he told me "they're not supposed to do that" and since it was busy, he couldn't do it. It was not even busy in there! I'd visit another location before I come back here again. read more

How pathetic! You have this "employee" here named Steve V. who thinks it's "cool" to act all snarky and smug towards customers! He started off with a monotone "Can you I help you?". After I showed him my phone displaying the orders to be picked up, he gets an attitude while shaking his head saying " That doesn't help me!" I then I clicked on one order to show him a barcode, he still gets an attitude saying "That don't help me!" He then asked me for my first name; after I told him, he ignored me and asked again with an attitude, I repeated my previous answer and finally I got my items to get out of that cesspool of a business! Not only that, you had me waiting in the car for almost two hours not notifying me on my app that the orders were ready! You also gave me bug and tar spray instead of the washer fluid! First, my review from before was a little off the mark. The product the person recommended was wrong. I guess I didn't take the time to update the review. That being said, I did receive some really good help from a person when I bought a battery there for my car recently. The gentleman asked if I'd be returning my battery at that time, as he'd have to charge me a typical fee, otherwise. I was aware of this fee. Anyway, I asked if they do the battery install for free, and he said they do. That way I didn't have to go home, replace the battery, they go back and return the old one. The person was really good. He spent the time making sure the terminals were really clean and the battery was installed securely. It took longer than we expected due to the buildup on the terminals. read more

Service here is horrible. They stand behind the counter and act like they don't want to do their job. I went in there to get a new battery for my mom's car. I know the make and model but that is it. He asked me for the voltage. I told him I didn't know. Then he gets in an attitude with me for not knowing. I come in there so you as an expert can help me. Then he asked for the VIN. I asked him if it was the number on the windshield because again I don't know much about cars and wanted to make sure. He shook his head at me. I was like never mind I'll figure it out myself because he was no help what so ever. I was able to figure it out and told him. He charged me and changed the battery. I would have given a tip but again he was no help. If a customer walks into your place it's your job to assist. That's why I come in the first place. Next time I will be trying a different location or a different person. Hopefully everyone there is not like that. read more

This place is the worst store that I've ever dealt with the part time manager Edith G is both racist and ignorant she makes no exceptions makes no attempt to retain people's business takes advantage of elderly folks that don't understand vehicles. I've even done online orders that I try to pick up at the store that they told me the parts were not there but after speaking with 3 different people 3 different times finally the parts were there they just had it under the wrong number. This story is very poorly run they continued to keep individuals on staff that alienate customers run customers off and repeatedly Behave in a very unprofessional manner if value your money I wouldn't go anywhere near this store I would go somewhere else. I ordered something online for pick up. I got there and multiple employees were just standing around and not bothering to go to the counter. I guess silly me for not verifying that the employees did not grab the right item either because the item I got and the picture from my online receipt were very different. I walked in here at 12:32 to get windshield wipers. It's 1:23 and a mechanic that just happened to be in the store had to finish helping me because the young lady that works here is satisfied with making minimal effort to get things done. Another gentleman that wasn't a mechanic and was an actual employee of autozone was helping me and while he is trying to figure it out the incompetent one mentioned previously, STOPPED HIM and directed him to something else. Alas, it is a special order part (like much of VW), so he didn't have it, but he referred me to the local dealer for it. Went today to replace the brake light bulbs on my car. Went to the aisle and looked in the book so I could obtain the correct number for replacement parts. The book only went though to model year 2000. This is for a 2008 Honda mind you. So I went up to an associate that was restocking in the same aisle and asked where I could find the book with most current year. She promptly escorted me up to the counter. She got up to the computer and started clicking away. She at first pulled up the wrong vehicle. I corrected. Then she put in wrong model/trim. I tried to correct again. Then she put in for wrong bulb. Then I asked for her to slow down and actually listen and just clicking ahead. We tried a few more times but she kept clicking on stuff again including front beams...that I just replaced. I said stop and there was another associate standing 5 feet away named Edith. I took a step back and asked if there was anyone else that could help me. Not really Edith since she was just leaning against the counter and had yet to jump in and assist. I was wondering if there was a language barrier between myself and the associate attempting to help me. Edith stated that the associate was having trouble hearing me. So I figure this maybe someone with a disability. I try to extend my patience but at the same time Edith finally decides to step in. She tells the initial associate, "don't worry, he's just being rude." I asked he if she just called me rude and said yes but then started calling out the numbers for one of the bulbs I needed to the associate that was initially attending to me. Then she gave me a slip of paper with the other part numbers and said here just give this to her. I turned to do so, just as she was coming back with first bulb. I tried handing her paper but she wouldn't take it. She had four sets of bulbs in her hand. I only needed three. At that point I had enough. I handed her my slip and said I would spend my money elsewhere. I went across the road where the Honda dealership was. Bought the correct bulbs. Associate let me borrow a flathead screwdriver to get the inner liner back to replace the bulb. Returned the screwdriver. Parts guy asked do they work? He offered to check. ....and he did. Sport Honda of Silver Spring gave great service. Not sure the discrepancy of price on such a nominal thing, but can't be that much. Was actually going add pads and rotors to my order. Now I have to find another store. Basic customer service would have determined that read more

All cashiers working here were rude. They purposely sold me a cheaper part while charging me the price of a more expensive part. After going back to the store trying to get an exchange, they not only did not apologize, but gave me a hard time. Avoid this store for they hire incompetent people.
