I placed an order and was told it would be here by October 6. I sent exactly what I wanted and after multiple proofs that continued to be incorrect. I finally reached out to customer service because I was concerned about the deadline. One customer service representative lied to me and told me that I would be receiving it on time when I called back when I didn't receive it on time the other customer representative said that that was not possible and that I was Miss Informed and that I did not get guaranteed the date. I paid for express shipping and I still did not get my product in time after multiple calls and multiple customer service complaints. I left for my retreat without the T-shirts for the attendees. Not only where they rule, they had no customer service skills and they lied. I will never use them again. I typically do not do reviews that are negative. However this time I find it impossible not to as it's one thing to make a mistake. It's another to continue to make mistakes blame the customer and not stand behind your product. read more

They sold me $3k of product with a guaranteed delivery day. Soon I realized they weren't going to make the date, as they hadn't started production. I inquired with them and confronted them with my assessment of their ability to successfully provide the product by the deadline. They then apologized and told me it accidentally stated that day and they wouldn't be able to meet the deadlines. That really sucks when the items were Christmas gifts for your employees, especially when you believed the guarantee and let them know to expect some cool gifts. They told me that somehow the website, e-mail confirmation, etc. all gave the guarantee when they had actually ran out of stock and wouldn't be able to fulfill orders any longer. That I was one of a few people between the time they ran out and all their system updated or something like that. Well... that sucks for me. I'm sure there's something they could have done, especially a company of their size, but nothing was really done about it. Nobody there decided it was important enough to find a way to come up with those few stock items to personalize. If they really wanted to, they could have simply paid retail for the items to ensure they could follow through on the guarantee. I was just told to sit tight and wait. I did. Around 6 months later (well beyond the guaranteed date, estimated date and Christmas) I requested a refund, which they happily processed. Definitely friendly people, but they don't take the deadlines as seriously as they say and definitely don't go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction or even just stick to their word. Custom Ink left me FURIOUS after days and hours of designing a shirt and making revisions to their standards.....then they straight up refused to print it! I get it-- the larger the company is, the stricter they need to be in following copyright laws. But the copyright contract needs to be sent to customers BEFORE they start designing their shirt, not after. I was looking for a company such as Reddbubble or Zazzle where you can design fan-made products like the Cobra Kai fan t-shirt I had designed for personal use. (Instead I made the mistake of giving Custom Ink a chance instead). After days and hours spent on my shirt design, they give you a Terms & Conditions document at the END of your check-out to purchase your product (after they've gotten your payment and billing information). It was like a three-page list of countless warnings of items they won't print, such as using logos that are copyrighted. Seeing how I did indeed use a logo that was copyrighted from the tv show and movie, I spent a few more hours revising my shirt to make sure I had followed all guidelines. When I placed my order, I recieved multiple auto e-mails and texts telling me my shirt looked great, so I assumed everything was fine. It wasn't until the next morning I recieved an e-mail stating that they cancelled my order because they can't print anything Cobra-Kai related. No "we'll help you revise your shirt to meet copyright standards" that was advertised. On the Terms & Conditions they assured customers that they would indeed help us get around copyright laws and and help us edit our shirts to the copyright standards, and that they print multiple sports team fan shirts and blah, blah, blah, even though there's some copyright laws to work around. Multiple customers complained about the same thing online about this company, and I should have listened!! (There's a reason why they have an overwhelming one star rating)! As a music teacher, I get multiple large batches of shirts printed for the students in my music program every year.....Guess which company won't be getting our school's money?! read more

Custom Ink has horrible customer service and doesn't take any blame for issues. I have had tons of shirts printed by then over the years with pretty good results. This order I ordered some women's shirts well evidently that changes the size of the design for ALL SHIRTS which is ridiculous. So now I have men XL shirts with a tiny image. Their answer after reporting f this issue... Sorry that's how it is we can reprint at a discount" what the hell I just spent $360 on shirts I can't use. read more

Only reason there are two stars instead of one is because the shirts are nice quality (except they have nothing to do with that. Bottom line - wildly inconsistent. Made two orders with different designs and sizes needed. They swapped the sizes for each order. The best part is that they don't/won't admit they made a mistake. I have proof - a PDF with order details from my "dedicated" helper. But I can't reach him now. This is the second major screw up in about 6 months. There are hundreds of companies that make shirts - please look elsewhere. I've ordered multiple custom shirts from CustomInk and each time have encountered issues. Whether it's incorrect sizes, incorrect shirt brand, or the order arriving late. I have one order pending with them now and will no longer use their services once it's complete. I would suggest researching other companies to work with. read more

I absolutely love our shirts!!! I wanted to order shirts for our vacation that had all of our trips to Sandals on the back. My husband is really tall, so I was concerned that the shirts wouldn't fit. Someone from Custom Ink emailed back and forth with me and let me know which t-shirts I could order that came in "tall". The shirts with the tall option had a minimum quantity required, but they also let me know that I could mix and match as long as I stayed in the same brand, so I didn't need to order 10 shirts in the same color. And they are cheaper the more you get, so I figured I'd just sleep in the extra ones. I really only wanted like 2 for each of us. I had to order 10. My order was going to be over $100, and my husband wasn't super into it, and I was afraid they wouldn't fit him, so I waited awhile to order. This price also only included writing on the back. I wish I could have added something to the front, but that was another $50, so I didn't think it was worth it. I decided that I really did want them, so I went ahead and ordered them. I love them!!! I'm so glad I did! The printing was exactly how I entered it online, and they looked exactly like I thought they would. And my husband loves his, too! And we got lots of compliments on them during our trip. I got a customer survey after I got my order, and I had noticed that some of the threads were pulled on the teal t-shirts I had gotten. I didn't make a big deal of it, but when they asked for comments, I mentioned it. Someone emailed me back, and asked me to send a picture of the shirts with the issue. I tried to take a picture, but it was very hard to see, so I told them I did the best I could, but I understood that they probably couldn't see it. They sent me 2 new teal shirts to replace them!!! I couldn't believe it!!! Awesome customer service, and I just absolutely love my shirts! Any company that sells the type of masks they are selling has zero integrity. The ad makes them look thicker, durable and of good quality. What you actually receive is a cut out t-shirt that rolls and rips. They also won't do refunds for the garbage they are selling, so I'm out much needed money. So many companies are taking advantage of this pandemic and I assumed they were better than that.....obviously not! Sent an email with my order number. We are suppose to receive money back, even though they initially weren't refunding any money. The response from them is garbage as well. We have used Custom Ink for many years and have spent thousands of dollars with them. Customer service is non-existent. They cannot meet deadlines. They don't even call you to let you know they aren't going to meet the deadline. When you call and express your concern, they don't care. I am not sure what is going on with them. The first couple of years we used them, they did an amazing job. This past year was a nightmare. They didn't meet our deadline this fall with an event we had. They told us they would credit us $180 for our inconvenience. We went to sign onto our account to use the $180 and our account was deactivated. Placed an order on 11/3. 11/7 was notified I had to make changes because I used a school logo and another school's nickname. I made changes, eliminating the logo, using an abreviated version of the team mascot name, using stock clipard and used the name of a state instead of the school. This was all redesigned with their "custom inker" via text. 11/9 - notified still not approved because I used the team mascot name. Redesigned and removed all references to either state or school. Changed to generic text and used their clipart as recommended by them. 11/10 - notified they will not print using their own clipart of a rooster because the team is named the gamecocks, even though there is no reference to the state or the team. At this point it's too late to meet my needed date. Such a waste of my time and their refusal to print something THEY recommended using THEIR OWNED clip art is ridiculous. read more

Incredibly negative experience. Scheduled delivery date was changed 3 times; was told my order was going to be shipped "later that day," which, of course, it was not. I made two orders with this company. Our Elementary School had a fundraiser and we did a pretty BIG order (at least for us) $2500 in youth shirts. Despite the expense (the price was double what we usually pay). The teachers loved them so much they asked to purchase some. With only 9 on this second order I called and ordered more. I told customer service they were for our female teachers. I also told them what sizes I needed. When the second order came in the shirts were so HUGE! They are sold as unisex, but they were bigger than MEN sizes. I had some of the teachers try on the shirts and a medium for instance was the same size as your typical Mens XL tshirt. Bottom line is that I contacted the company, begging for help. They listened to my recorded call, and determined they were not in the wrong. I received no help as far as fixing the problem. They sent me a how to video and other directions that basically was a way of saying "Go through all this trouble, so you can forget about us" After spending $2500+ my experience ended with a poor customer experience, nothing was resolved. I tried getting refunding on a rush delivery that wasn't shipped on time and also T-shirts were sent to incorrect addresses. They would not print my shirts because it went against a public figure(Kamala Harris). It was nothing racist, no threats, no violence. I guess we are discriminated against for our political views by custom ink. I have used CustomInk several times in the past without issues. Their website design tool is very nice and simple to use. I decided to try them again for some custom Christmas gifts for my team. I had several chats with designers about quality of the product and print, and how the design would look. Needless to say the quality is so terrible as to be unwearable. $70 a sweatshirt and the ENTIRE shirt feels like a giant iron-on patch. When I called to complain and try to get a reshipment, I was told there was nothing they can do, first they said it was because of the detailed design on black clothing, then they said it was about the digital print vs screen printing....a bunch of BS really, just terrible terrible quality. I was told I could keep these shirts and get a 30% discount, or send the shirts back for a refund. Being that is is now December 20th, I guess I will just refund and work with a local printer. I would suggest everyone else do the same rather than deal with CustomInk. Thanks for the waste of time and money, and botching Christmas for my hardworking employees. read more

I want to start off by first saying the uncensored reviews on the website is absolute baloney and it is very censored. I got an email after my order to fill out a survey so I did. It was a negative survey but I could not submit it and got an error. So I tried again and again and got the same error. It wasn't until after I actually went on the "uncensored review" page of Custom Ink and realized they were never going to let me post my negative review on there fancy non blemished "uncensored" review board. So I found them on yelp and here's my original review pasted below. Also attached there's a screen shot of there fancy "uncensored" review page... On your website you said that if there were any miscues on the design your "expert designers" will make the proper adjustments/corrections. The printing of the names were all in bold so it looks like all one word. If the "as" in between the names were in lower case one would be able to actually see "KEN as DOUG" compared to what your expert designers printed, which was "KEN AS DOUG". Even if no special instructions were given on punctuation...just knowing the English language one would make an educated guess that the consumer would want "Ken as Doug". Come on man! Over all the shirts look great but ran a bit small and I wish the material was a bit more stretchy and not so stiff. But my biggest Concern was with those expert designers who didn't catch that text design flaw. read more

Can I give zero stars? Placed two orders for a total of 3 shirts. First order arrived: only 1 out of 2 shirts in the package. I call, they say they will replace and refund my rush shipping and my third shirt will arrive the next day. Wrong! The third shirt was shipped the next day. I called again. They said they will remake the entire order, give me 50% off and ship the shirts to the location where I need them. They will arrive just in time. Here I am today at the location and the items will not arrive for four days. So I can't use them. Not only did they not follow through multiple times but they also promised something they didn't happen. I could and should have had a contingency plan and gotten other shirts made locally. The customer service blamed the printer more than once. Heaven forbid they take responsibility for the multiple issues (missing shirt, fib about delivery date, completely blundering the replacement order). Never again read more

Custom Ink ensured me that my t-shirts would arrive by December 10th (for my friend's 100th half marathon) but on December 9th I found out that they would not be delivered until December 13th (the day after the race). Custom Ink didn't even bother to contact me to tell me this. When I contacted them to check on shipping status is when I found out about the changed date. They didn't even try to remedy the problem. The original delivery date was changed through the design process and was not communicated until after the artwork was sent to print. At this point no change can be made to expedite. The guarantee advertised on the website is misleading at best. The customer service representatives I spoke with were literally laughing at me when I was trying to problem solve a way to make the order work. Just condescending amused responses. When I asked to be escalated to a manager or a different department the simply said that they aren't able to be reached at this time. I even offered to reorder and pay expedited shipping. They would Not guarantee delivery. At this point it was 2 weeks prior to the event and the art was already approved and the shirts had not been printed. In the end we cancelled the order and reorder the exact shirt for a fraction of the cost and will receive it in half the time. read more

I have been a customer for the last 4 years. I tried to place an order online last night. But was only welcomed with the same frustrating website that won't let you place multiple items into one cart and order them, so I was stuck entering my credit card information multiple times. The website pretty much would not take my credit card information and just kept saying loading all night long so I reached out to the customer service this morning. Instead of getting a helpful representative I got bill wwho was as completely indifferent to my situation and my frustrations. Never once did Bill asked me how can I help which as a business owner is about the only thing that I want my employees to ask. I'm a teacher/coach and my athletes did a huge fundraiser to pay for sweatshirts and sweatpants. Ordered and paid for both yet only the sweatshirts went through. Sweatpants will arrive five days late and we will not have them for our championships. Company was very apologetic but only offered a $150 voucher when we spent over $2k on gear. I'm so happy with how my dodgeball team's shirts came out. It was a custom design that our team made ourselves and I was worried the quality wouldn't be as high because we didn't use their custom shirt-building tools (which are also great and user friendly, btw) but it came out flawlessly. Our design had a sort of metallic sheen to it and I thought they would've eliminated that and made the text pure-white for ink-saving purposes, but they kept the design exactly as we uploaded it, which was perfect. I had made a mistake on one of the player tag names (the nicknames on the back) and had to call customer service and the woman was incredibly nice, helpful, knew exactly what she was doing and fixed it with zero problem. She even said that the office was all loving our shirts, which made me happy obviously. The shirt quality is a lot better than I expected. They're thick, strong, and fit really perfectly on me (another thing I was nervous about). We all love our shirts and would absolutely order from here again. read more

Terrible quality control. We ordered shirts and hats for our small business, there was not a single shirt or hat that did not have an issue. The logos weren't centered, they were very clearly crooked, the color was supposed to be white but was not, and there were portions of our logo that weren't even visible. For the amount of money you, you should be receiving a quality product, but you won't get that with custom ink. We notified them and even sent them pictures and we haven't even heard back from any. Terrible customer service and terrible quality control. 10/10 DON'T RECOMMEND! read more
