I can't speak on their other services, but I highly recommend not using this company to get an EV Charger installed. Mine was a very easy setup and they quoted me at $2,900 dollars. Please do not fall for their insanely high overpricing, you should typically spend 400-1200 depending on the extremity of the project. I went with a different company and it only costed me $500 and yes, they were Tesla certified installers. Don't fall for this scam of a business. read more

After explaining the issue instead of getting to work or writing a quote instead he walked my home in search of other work he could add to the bill. He then told me a ridiculous quote for what turned out to be a rather simple job I could have done myself. He then tries to get me to sign up for a monthly subscription service. I wanted a line replaced and instead he put about a foot of cord beteeen a broken piece with a junction box and some wing nuts. Then had the audacity to charge me $600 for the service. Will never go through this shame service again. He also said they had to charge me for 10ft of cable even though he used less than a foot. But then he didn't leave the extra cable with me. So he overcharged and then stole my spare cable. If it wasn't a safety hazard and an emergency I would have gone with someone else. I wanted and was prepared to pay for a professional service to replace a damaged line. Instead I got a loose junction box sitting by my ceiling with spliced lines joined inside it. Sparky came down the acceleration lane behind me onto I-235 W. He went around me illegally crossing the white line while I was getting on. He almost sideswiped my car when I entered after the white line ended. I pulled to the far left lane and the schmuck pulled into my line cutting me off with 5' to spare. He then accelerated to 80 MPH in a 55 MPH weaving in and out of traffic. He kept it at 80 MPH in a 60 MPH the whole way to 22nd ST where he got off. Custom Electric should fire this reckless driver. I hope your insurance cancels you when they read this. read more

One star is too good. I had an appointment today. Technician arrived and knocked on my door once, waited ninety seconds and took off. I heard the alert on my Ring doorbell and opened the door to see him climbing in his truck. I watched him thinking he had forgotten something and he drove off. I know he only knocked once and waited ninety seconds, I have the video. I jumped on the phone and called the company (I could still see the truck driving away), and was told to reschedule. I emailed the company to express my displeasure and have had no response. Very poor customer service! I am getting a different company. read more

I called about a power outage in my house. The person I spoke to said a contractor would call that day when they were close. I thought it was odd they didn't want my address. No one called, so the next day I called them again. Without asking my name or situation, they said my request didn't go through and it would be 6 days before they could send anyone out. While I found the technicians to be courteous, I was told on more than one occasion how I was getting a "good deal" as they had under bid the job. Ultimately, the technicians had to return to repair work that had been done incorrectly. This delayed my business start up and by several weeks and cost me a significant amount of money. Blake was amazing. He did a terrific job. The problem that I have is with the way the billing was handled. I called and had an agreement with office staff, they didn't follow through with their end of our agreement and are refusing to make it right. This is costing me several hundred dollars in fees in addition to the actual service itself. When I called to address the issue, I was unable to get someone to help rectify the issue, kept getting put on hold then told that no one was available to take my call. When I finally did get ahold of someone, I was told that there was nothing they would do to correct the issue. I called again in hopes of getting someone to help me only to get told by one of their staff that anyone who could help me had gone for the day. Why not right? They got their money, transaction complete. On to the next sucker to trust our word. I do not understand why it is so difficult for companies to do the right thing and follow through with their agreed upon terms. If they won't stand by their word, will they stand by their work? read more

We called to get an estimate to replace our electric panel and raise our power line. We couldn't remember what time the appointment was scheduled for, so we called at 9:45 am to verify. The person who answered the phone said the serviceman was on his way now. Two hours later we call back, the person who answered the phone said something about not seeing him on the GPS then said she'd have to call back and then HUNG UP. A few minutes after they hung up on me, I see the Custom van drive by my house, he goes to the end of the block, does a U-turn, comes back to the next side street, does another U-turn and stops and asks my neighbor where the house is (this serviceman had been at our house previously). Our neighbors were getting work done by another electrical company and this serviceman pulled up behind the other company's van. The other serviceman came out to get something out of his van and the Custom guy got out and went over to talk to him. They stood there and talked for 10 minutes. Finally we went outside and told the guy he was too late and he could leave. He said, oh no, our appointment was between 10 and 12, it's not too late! Considering the dispatcher told us you were on your way 2 hours ago, no thanks! Try again. read more

Trevor and Rogan were great...very professional, courteous, informative and they did a great job.
