He had to completely rewire our entire circuit breaker panel, to install a whole home surge protector and to replace one of our GFI outlets that blew. We had no electric lines outside and our entire breaker was full so it turned into a bigger job then originally expected but Shane did a great job explaining everything and presenting us with options of how to go about the project. After that great experience we decided to become members. While its certainly not required, you can then pay a small monthly fee to get a discount on any projects done with them. For our most recent project we were wanting an outlet installed above our great room fireplace for mounting a TV. I called on Friday morning, not only did a real person (who was also friendly and helpful) answer the phone but then they had available appointments for the NEXT DAY. How is that even possible? Jadyn was our technician and I plan to ask for him by name for any future projects. Things started out strong by receiving a phone call to say he was on his way, then a text message with his picture so we knew who to expect. Next, I LOVE that he insisted on putting shoe covers on when he came in -- which I can only imagine is SO annoying for him as he would take them off every time he needed something from his truck and then put them back on when he came inside. The fee for the estimate was waved since we had the work done same day. Jadyn had our outlet installed quickly and even vacuumed up after himself. Lastly before he left he did a quick safety check of our entire house. He thoughtfully let us know of some items that might need replacing or repair in the next few years but I never felt like he was trying to sell me on something - basically just told me to keep an eye on it. Still only partial power. Thinking it was some kind of electrical issue with the house, had Yelp connect me to several electricians. While others wanted a consultation, Mike simply said call MidAmerican. So I did and reported a partial outage. Feeling a bit anxious, texted Mike if I should do anything else.
