This is the second time that I've been to the tattoo and piercing shop; the first time I went with a friend and also came in for a repiercing due to a hospitalization. I'm hoping this will be the last time that I go to this shop for a repiercing, but I will definitely come back here if I have to. Joslyn was extremely professional and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time during the piercing process by double checking that it didn't hurt. I had to purchase one of their steel titanium jewelry ($15 was the cheapest one) and was not allowed to use my own jewelry that I bought from Laughing Buddha. Which is totally understandable and makes sense as to why they don't use other jewelry outside of their own. I think it also specifies in their rules or contract that you're not allowed to bring in outside jewelry, but I would call to make sure. I also did not like that they didn't have a more comfortable waiting/seating area. Those tiny chairs on wheels are not really plus-sized friendly and I would have appreciated a regular chair instead of those. The online booking experience for an appointment within 3 days was easy to use on their website. I believe there was a $5 security deposit that goes into your overall total at the end of your piercing/tattoo session. In fact, my piercer Joslyn even emailed me to ask questions about my piercing history and whatnot. I really appreciated her attentiveness to detail and for taking the initiative to understand her customer's needs. After a couple of weeks, the earrings continued to look ridiculous, as they appeared to be falling out of my ears. I called and explained the problem. They said I could walk in any time during open hours. When I did, they said I could get a "discount" and pay $63 to replace the posts that were too long from day one. This did not include the decorative part of the earrings, only the 1/8" posts. At no time, on the day of piercing, or on the phone call, was there mention of additional fees for earrings that were too long when they were 1st placed. If you want to pay a hefty amount and your piercings to look idiotic, here's your place.

I originally wanted the drips to be sumi-E ink style and the former artist charged me so much, lacked details, did it his own way even though he required my own specific design - he just couldn't get the interpretation down and I did not want to risk another visit with him. I knew Courtney would get it. She spent time doing her own design of my verbal input with some visual references and ended up adding extra details I could only dream of but never say aloud. She did it in 2 visits, not as heavy handed, and again the price was right. Her music vibes! Always a great time at Broadway. I had wanted an Owl tattoo for years and I felt Charlene could deliver on the detail I wanted. We also really had a nice time chatting during the hour or two she was doing my artwork. Everything is super clean, colorful, and welcoming, and of course there's tons of beautiful artwork by the resident tattoo artists across the walls. You gotta browse and enjoy all the different talent! My sister got a couple small tattoos, some script and then her daughters' initials worked into a tattoo she already has. Andrew sent us a link to a website where we could search and select fonts, but if you need ideas your tattoo artist will definitely have them! I like the idea of tiny tattoos on my hands/fingers, just one tiny step at a time, hahah. I decided to get a single teensy star, which I now call the North star. It looks like a classic, Christmassy twinkle star... or what a single light looks like in the dark when you have an astigmatism, ha. ANYWAY, it's the perfect tiny little sparkle and Andrew was able to draw it with the tiniest, finest little lines. I love it. I came here for a nose piercing, which was $50 and very affordable compared to other places. The person that helped me out was Jasmin. She took her time to prep for my nose piercing. I had a specific spot that I had in my mind, but I was ok that she slightly moved it towards a different area to avoid piercing a vein. I thought it was amazing that everyone is very well-trained and knows their anatomy! Compared to over a decade ago, I had 2 nose piercings and they were extremely painful. I got it done with a nose piercing gun. This experience was absolutely better than previous experiences! Jasmine used a stick and poked it through my nose. It did hurt for 2 minutes and they have an plushie for emotional support. My nose felt great a few days after, compared to other times where my nose piercing area healed in about 6-8 months. A week later my piercing did fall off, since it was a tiny piece. I came back and Ninan helped me out right away. I purchased the diamond stud on Amazon. She even took the time to sterilize it for me. She was able to put my stud piercing through. There is another person who is also very welcoming and friendly. I'm not sure what their name is, but they are a tattoo artist with short hair. Thank you so much to everyone for giving me an excellent and safe experience. I will be back, but this time for ear piercings!! I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to get any type of body piercings done!!
