This is a review of the driver I encountered yesterday at 47th and Columbia Blvd. the guy was honking at me to run a red light, and when I finally got through the intersection (on a green light), he pulled into the lane beside me in an attempt to... road rage? Bully? Intimidate? Me. He stared me down, driving side by side with me. When I slowed down to let him get ahead, he slammed on his brakes to stay beside me! Eventually he floored it and sped away (easily doing 55-60 MPH). This driver is dangerous and doesn't deserve to be on the road, representing your company! read more

David ( the owner) was SO helpful, honest, kind and easy to work with! I called him the evening about moving a piece of furniture about 15 blocks, and he was there at 8:30 the next morning- ready to help! My need was time sensitive and he was very responsive- from the first phone call. On top of having great service service, he was extremely generous with his cost and charged me a fraction of what other movers quoted. It's rare you'll find someone who is genuinely interested in helping-- I think most companies would be more interested in higher paying clients than me, with more extensive needs. David fit the job into his busy schedule, regardless of the price point. You won't regret working with him and his company. He's personable, a good communicator, reliable and kind!!!!!! He even gave me tips on how to safely hang the piece (a giant, heavy framed mirror) without damaging the walls. I had to have a large birthday gift get picked up at a store, and then get delivered to my house, and because it was a surprise gift, the delivery had to be made in a tight time window. I could not be at either the store or my house, to supervise the work. Like working without a net, it was entirely in their hands. Dave, and the folks at Custom Courier, went out of their way to understand exactly what was needed, and made the store pickup, and delivery, exactly as I asked. Customer Courier Service absolutely went above and beyond for a request we had. I am an assistant based in NY trying to coordinate an anniversary gift for an employee in Portland and found out the night before. I called Customer Courier Service - they answered right away - and confirmed they would be able to pick up our gift and stop at a local drugstore to pick up a card and deliver by today. Dave has been a huge help to me. When my ill brother moved to Portland, Dave picked up the 4 boxes of his belongings at the Portland Greyhound Station almost immediatly. Now a month later, Dave picked up my brothers medical record, and took it to the 9th floor of OHSU SO. Waterfront tower, and hand delivered it to the receptionist, for a very quckly scheduled appointment. Dave is polite, professional, delivers at lightning speed, and very reasonable. Dave is wonderful. I contacted him about picking up and delivering trays of baked goods from a bakery in SW Portland that does not deliver. The trays were to go to a business office in downtown Portland, a thank you gift for work done for us. The order was placed at the bakery, which happens to sit on a hill, and the delivery date chosen. Then Snowpocalypse hit the city and everything had to be postponed. Dave monitored the weather and chose the best day to make this happen. He bought a card, wrote out our message, picked up the baked goods and delivered them, even while the roads were still packed with ice. His charge was ridiculously reasonable for all of that. Fantastic! So... Oregon suspended by license, like they do, for some stupid unpaid ticket- I paid the ticket weeks ago & called the DMV to make sure all was well before heading back across the country & Oregon said, we show the ticket as paid, but now we want $75 to reinstate your license, and btw, we don't take payment over the phone, you can mail it or come by an office (like 2,700 miles away)- but I had to be on the road pronto to get back to the best coast. So I spoke with custom courier, and they went in and paid it for me, same day, for a really reasonable rate (less than overnighting via. FedEx and then waiting days for my payment to move through various state agencies). I can't recommend these guys enough, and normally I just complain a about things in online reviews. Well, I have to add my recommendation to the other great reviews after Dave put together an amazing delivery for my wife and me. My wife had left her purse in a restaurant in Vancouver WA on a Thursday and we had continued south for 2-3 hrs heading for home. Way too far to head back with city traffic, etc so on Friday morning I called Custom Courier and talked to Dave. He picked up the purse same day and had it to Fedex Home Delivery. It's Valentines Day and I called Custom Courier Service in a panic because I wanted to surprise my valentine who is in Portland at the moment with a specific kind of cake and a hand written card. I was extremely stressed because I'm in California and waited until the last minute to try and pull something together. I called David Ritchie at Custom Courier after learning about his service through a Google search. He didn't know me from Adam, but treated me as if we had been doing business together for years. The reason for my call was to see if Custom could act as my agent in Portland to arrange for a shipment of cabinets to the Chicago area, where I live. Dave contacted the seller, transported the cabinets from the seller to the carrier, saw to it that the cabinets were properly packaged (going above and beyond when the carrier at the last minute insisted on additional packaging), paid the carrier, saw the cabinets safely on their way, and generally looked out for my interests in all things when I could not be on the spot in Portland to do so myself. There are not enough wonderful words to describe how thankful I am for David and Custom Courier Service. I am a photographer and was out of town in Portland, OR to photograph a wedding. I always rent back up equipment "just in case". The company I rented from was not open on the weekend and after the wedding I needed to be back in Seattle. I was struggling with the idea of driving 3 hours back to Portland on Monday morning to return the camera by 10am.
