They moved our 2 bed/2 bath apartment from the 3rd floor to another apartment on the 2nd floor. It was a local move. They disassembled movable parts carefully and wrapped our furniture meticulously. They reassembled at the new apartment with all parts intact and accounted for. They came prepared with tools, shrink wrap, blankets, tapes, boxes and a positive CAN-DO attitude as well! For a 3-person crew and a large truck, it was under $700 including a flat $30 fuel charge. It was an affordable and smooth move. The crew took a 25-minute lunch break. Alan, the crew leader, communicated the time that was stopped for lunch and it was deducted from the total cost. Most importantly, the owner Rus was fast to respond to any questions, thorough and transparent with their prices. I totally recommend RMP Moving for your next move.

At first, it seemed like it might slow things down, but it actually made the loading and unloading process much faster and more organized--and most importantly, everything arrived with zero damage. I am no longer concerned. Carlos Munoz talked to me about my review. After some soul searching the company changed the form so they are legally obligated to cover part of the cost of hall away under their damage liability with the potential to cover more with negotiation. I think before in the unlikely event they drop something you would call in and they would work something out. Now it's in writing. I love that. They did a great job.

Each day as we unpack we discover more problems. Boxes labeled fragile beneath a heavy box of books. More boxes dumped on the wrong floor of the house. The day the crew loaded the truck one worker locked himself into a bathroom (which still needed to be packed) for a half hour and wouldn't respond when we asked him to finish his business and get out. Moving is stressful enough without having to monitor movers and their activities. Still, a couple on the crew were solid, even helpful, but the fairly obvious lack of care by the others now outweighs their good work.

I scheduled a move within the same apartment complex. This was not a cross-town move--it was a transfer between two apartments approximately 200 feet apart with identical floor plans. I was given a 10:00-11:00 AM arrival window. The crew did not arrive until approximately 2:30 PM, more than three hours late. During that time, I received no meaningful updates and spent the day waiting. When the crew finally arrived, only three movers showed up instead of the four-person crew I expected. Rather than arriving with a plan, they immediately expressed doubts about completing the move. The manager's response to the delay was disappointing and dismissive. When I explained that the delay was seriously impacting my day, I did not feel that the situation was being taken seriously. Ultimately, the move was not completed. I had to make alternative arrangements, hire additional help on my own, and spend the weekend moving and unpacking largely by myself. What is most frustrating is that I specifically hired a professional moving company to avoid exactly this situation. Instead, the late arrival, staffing issues, and lack of communication turned what should have been a straightforward apartment transfer into a stressful and exhausting experience. I understand that delays can happen. What I cannot understand is the lack of communication, accountability, and customer service after the delay occurred. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.
